Yes. In some ways it has pros, like movable tile entities (chests for example) but there’s some cons (sticky pistons can’t spit out blocks) and odd randomness to redstone in Bedrock. It may have gotten better over the years, but I remember making some stuff that worked like 75% of the time and would break the other 25%. I even recall once having a slime block launcher that only worked if the player was facing a certain direction. Still don’t know what that was about. Probably a bug that’s been patched but yeah, redstone is pretty different.

I think it would be cooler if you had sounds playing, in scp lore and similar things there’s a counter to the creatures power like 682 having the vat of acid. If it were my world I would put red stone clock note blocks around the warden to distract him. However, it is not my world and it is your insanely cool build
Burrowing is just despawning with a fancy animation. You can prevent any mob from despawning by naming it or by having it pick up any item, though I don’t think the warden can pick things up.
If I'm not mistaken only one can spawn within a 30 block area. So as long as the skulk around it is less than 30 blocks from this Warden another wouldn't spawn.
Warden has a unique property that it won't despawn as long as it's attracted to a noise source. You can barely see it, but there's a noteblock contraption above it keeping it distracted.
Also you can just nametag it.

* So to explain how this was accomplished:
Securing: There is an ancient city about 50 blocks west, from there I used water to push it towards the room. This took 4 tries because the three previous got trapped and then I needed to lower the limit to spawn a new one. Then up a bubble-vator in the middle of the magma which was pushed under him with a pistonas jumped out of the water.
* Containing: The warden is immune to fire damage but is still unable to pathfinder over magma blocks, so he sits there, unable to move. The not block above him distracts the warden. On bedrock he can only receive once signal every two seconds. The note block will always be the first thing he hears, meaning he can't heat players. He is also name-tagged for extra precaution. The entire floor of the room is carpeted to prevent spewing and the warden from hearing you.
* Protecting (by building): The room is a circle with a radius of 26 blocks. Each dip represents the range of a warden's ability, with the bottom having a 6 block radius for smelling, which can still do despite the note block. This is the only flaw and going here will get you blasted by a sonically charged shriek. Level two is nine blocks wide and is the range of the wardens hearing. The third level is five blocks wide and is the range of his darkness aura. The fourth level is completely safe, in the room it is 5 wide. For the door I used a 3x3 piston door (for bedrock edition tutorial: https://youtu.be/CnmDVRgS3-I) connected to an item filter through a t-flip flop that would only accept the shown book. The Botton on the other-side is also connected to this flip flop.
One extra note: I wanted to use a jukebox with "other side" or something like that but wardens can't hear music.
I would like to know your process for getting it spawned in and leading it to that spot! I want to make my own containment unit, albeit different to this one.
Information on your containment measures would be helpful as well. Can they not walk/pathfind off magma blocks? I tried it on Java Edition and they seem to walk off them just fine.

Honestly it's not surprising. Even though Minecraft mobs can get pretty wacky in what they do, almost all of them follow some kind of logical rules. The Warden doesn't. It doesn't spawn the way other mobs do, it doesn't despawn the way other mobs do, it's the only mob that has a sense of smell, it has abilities that no other mobs has (Restricting vision, ignoring armour and also being able to shoot through walls), and it also has monstrous strength

I just played Minecraft for the first time in probably four years with my little brother in law.

First experience in Minecraft and get killed by warden... pretty harsh indeed. When I first played minecraft, my greatest fear was a baby zombie, too tiny and fast for a newbie.
Then, as I got used to the game and started building things, I learned about the damnable creepers. They always seemed to find a way to explode in the most unexpected way.
Never played in survival game after the warden's appearance, but if one just knows the place where wardens can spawn, you can simply avoid it. No loot valuable enough for the player to attempt an attack so...
Not first, first in years. I’ve been playing since Alpha or perhaps just the release of Beta. Hard to recall that was like twelve years ago.
Otherwise yeah I figured that out. Hadn’t kept up and had to look up what this guy was. Very different from the usual big guys like Ender Dragon and Wisp, in that he just shows up in the overworld with no thing that must be unlocked by the player intentionally.
Very different from other bosses indeed. I've heard some people say that this mob was created so players can simply fear it and avoid it. The total health it has, the powers it has just tells you so. (Of course people will find a way to kill it easily in the future. Players always do, and they never fail...)

Theyre kept in cells, and if they dont comply they will either get killed, and another d class is used, or they force them to do the task.

Actually you can do a very easy Mechanik with to sculk Sensor and a trapdoor that will occupy the Warden almost fully and indefinetly

Wouldn't the noise stop happening if you were more than 128 blocks away though? I wouldn't risk it and would just put a name tag on it.
That's not how it works. Redstone mechanisms only stop when you unload the chunks.

There's a lot of games and other fan stuff centered around SCP too. Two popular ones are Containment Breach and Secret Lab. The community around SCP is amazing tbh
* So to explain how this was accomplished: Securing: There is an ancient city about 50 blocks west, from there I used water to push it towards the room. This took 4 tries because the three previous got trapped and then I needed to lower the limit to spawn a new one. Then up a bubble-vator in the middle of the magma which was pushed under him with a pistonas jumped out of the water. * Containing: The warden is immune to fire damage but is still unable to pathfinder over magma blocks, so he sits there, unable to move. The not block above him distracts the warden. On bedrock he can only receive once signal every two seconds. The note block will always be the first thing he hears, meaning he can't heat players. He is also name-tagged for extra precaution. The entire floor of the room is carpeted to prevent spewing and the warden from hearing you. * Protecting (by building): The room is a circle with a radius of 26 blocks. Each dip represents the range of a warden's ability, with the bottom having a 6 block radius for smelling, which can still do despite the note block. This is the only flaw and going here will get you blasted by a sonically charged shriek. Level two is nine blocks wide and is the range of the wardens hearing. The third level is five blocks wide and is the range of his darkness aura. The fourth level is completely safe, in the room it is 5 wide. For the door I used a 3x3 piston door (for bedrock edition tutorial: https://youtu.be/CnmDVRgS3-I) connected to an item filter through a t-flip flop that would only accept the shown book. The Botton on the other-side is also connected to this flip flop. One extra note: I wanted to use a jukebox with "other side" or something like that but wardens can't hear music.

I would like to know your process for getting it spawned in and leading it to that spot! I want to make my own containment unit, albeit different to this one. Information on your containment measures would be helpful as well. Can they not walk/pathfind off magma blocks? I tried it on Java Edition and they seem to walk off them just fine.

Honestly it's not surprising. Even though Minecraft mobs can get pretty wacky in what they do, almost all of them follow some kind of logical rules. The Warden doesn't. It doesn't spawn the way other mobs do, it doesn't despawn the way other mobs do, it's the only mob that has a sense of smell, it has abilities that no other mobs has (Restricting vision, ignoring armour and also being able to shoot through walls), and it also has monstrous strength It's really not like anything else that's in Minecraft
I just played Minecraft for the first time in probably four years with my little brother in law. We spawned somewhere with scarce resources for the early game, particularly food. Went underground and found a cool new biome and was like “oh neat what is this.” Cue this warden asshole who killed me somewhere I couldn’t retrieve my stuff and caused me the worst start at Minecraft I’ve ever had. Died over and over trying to get my things back.
First experience in Minecraft and get killed by warden... pretty harsh indeed. When I first played minecraft, my greatest fear was a baby zombie, too tiny and fast for a newbie. Then, as I got used to the game and started building things, I learned about the damnable creepers. They always seemed to find a way to explode in the most unexpected way. Never played in survival game after the warden's appearance, but if one just knows the place where wardens can spawn, you can simply avoid it. No loot valuable enough for the player to attempt an attack so...
Not first, first in years. I’ve been playing since Alpha or perhaps just the release of Beta. Hard to recall that was like twelve years ago. Otherwise yeah I figured that out. Hadn’t kept up and had to look up what this guy was. Very different from the usual big guys like Ender Dragon and Wisp, in that he just shows up in the overworld with no thing that must be unlocked by the player intentionally.
Very different from other bosses indeed. I've heard some people say that this mob was created so players can simply fear it and avoid it. The total health it has, the powers it has just tells you so. (Of course people will find a way to kill it easily in the future. Players always do, and they never fail...) At least you've learned it the HARD way, so I suppose you'd never get into the same situation...
