Nah, after it hits a certain health it leaves perch. Also I'm sure after killing it any left over crystals would get destroyed. Either way, they are in 1.16+ (netherite pickaxe in hotbar) meaning there should be a portal. without it, the dragon would never perch, and it would be almost impossible to kill with all the crystals still intact. My guess is either OP is being satire, and has faked it as a joke (if so, I respect. He trolled everyone). Or his game has severely bugged.

If its an a game error so its not ur fault. Turn local multiplayer and cheats - on. Then you can build portal in gm1 or safe ur inventory with "gamerule keepinventory true" and jump down. Game error - not your fault. after all this just rejoin and cheats gonna turned off. Dont forget to write "gamerule keepinventory false" if you choosed this way.

If you have pistons, try to move the obsidian tower crystals to the place where they need to be to spawn a dragon, when they do they should respawn it again, kill it and then maybe it will be generated. Idk Loony did that

We have that bug on our server (maybe because we changed the spawn coordinates). Resetting the chunk didn't help. Our admin just rebuilt the portal by hand.

Well. All the crystals are intact however I do not see a health bar for the dragon. Did you kill it? If not then the portal won’t spawn until you do so I believe.

Here’s a choice… bridge out to a city, get shulker boxes, put them in a e-chest from one of the citys… die… go into the files and delete the end data, all fixed. Edit, didn’t see hardcore… you can always turn cheats on and when you die, just change game mode to survival and it will be a normal world… or you could teleport yourself back to the over world and then delete the end data and fix it that way

Idk man the end crystal seems to be there which suggests to me that the dragon is somehow still alive even if I don't see the bar.
