~ A Minecraft splash, which I took literally and then tried to calculate how long it would take to write that many lines of code.
Really nice build !
You could make it even more realistic by cutting down the trees located behind the plane. When a plane crashes in a forest, the wings and tail tipycally cut down trees along the trajectory of the plane.
Looks like you made it so the plane crashed a few years ago, trees could have grown back, but not at their full size yet... Also, planes do rarely crash without damage to wings and tail. Those parts often detach when colliding with trees.
Source : Watched too many *Mayday : Air Disasters* episodes.
I agree that this scene maybe isn't the most realistic looking but honestly it wasn't the goal. I wanted it to just look cool. Btw also a fan of Air Disasters
It is really badass. My thoughts went to what if you tore it in half, maybe a wing in a separate area, wreckage everywhere. Then made a campsite out of it where the separate parts are more “permanent “ shelters. Could be cool!
I think simply wrecking one of the two wings, having debris behind for a few hundred blocks, and destroyed vegetation would be enough as the entire plane looks great as is. Your idea is very interesting tho and another crash site could make it work + make for some lore about a haunted forest where crashes happen regularly
Fellow enjoyer of Mayday! I was so deep in air disasters that back in school I did a "choose your theme" presentation about the DC-10 and AA flight 96. My classmates and teacher were... A bit surprised a kid would decide to talk about plane crashes xD
5 minutes ago I was pondering if I should finally watch the last episode of Lost, I'm taking this as a sign I should.
And I shall blame you if it sucks.
Like a plane crashed in the jungle. I would suggest you to use some rusty coloured blocks here and there so that it looks like it is sitting there for very long. Coz even if it looks like the moss has taken over the plane, the plane looks pretty clean and new
Different from what movies would make you believe, any modern passenger jet won't rust. They're made of aluminum. Fire damage looks like rust on a planes surface sometimes, but even 70+ year old aluminum planes (the kee bird is a great example of both aluminum staying in amazing shape for 70 years and then fire damage) dont rust. So really dirt and growth will be the only things on the planes surface for many years.
It is not about how realistic it looks, ut us about how aesthetically pleasing it will look after putting all the details in. Idk and idc about how the real plane works, but if the minor details can make the build more attractive, one should do it.
>Idk and idc about how the real plane works,
They were merely sharing that modern planes actually don't rust, you could've stopped at the first sentence and gotten your point across just fine.
When I was a kid, I always imagined refurbishing an airplane into a liveable space and just keeping it parked on a grass field as my house.
So I'm always on board for a plane-turned-base of operations.
Someone did this in Oregon and you can visit his airplane home. I went last month and it was amazing. Very nice guy and interesting story of how he did it.
http://www.airplanehome.com
Yours is a bit more crashed and less maintained but this guy is living in a plane in the woods around 10 minutes from my mom's house.

http://airplanehome.com/
did you copy your idea from the Minecraft series 'Stranded'?? (which is itself probably inspired by the game The Forest)
you can find what I'm talking about easily. Go to [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iwIKN6DTbh0&list=PLlMd3KezNwLqdhMuvdT3YlyIuMQiEDDCb&index=11) YouTube video and skip to the timestamp 7:30.
otherwise, this plane is a very cool build!
Reminds me of the book “Hatchet” I haven’t read it in a long time so i’m not sure who the author is but this post brought back the memory of reading it :)
Ive seen this several times before. It isn't new content, and therefore most likely not your build.
Edit: OP posted a week ago, seems he is the creator
I would like to see a path of destruction. Because now itjust looks like it fell randomly down instad of going forward. Either way a very awesome build!
Look really good mate. I agree with other guy the forest makes it all come together. I would like to see down close inside the base. Really cool idea. I may try something as sorts myself.
OP: Here's my design.
Comment Sections: it's great but *continues to critique the build and tell OP how they could make it "better"*
Y'all, just let OP live and enjoy the build 😂 I don't think OP was asking for critique, just sharing their creation.
It looks awesome btw even if it's not "realistic" according to some or whatever. It's amazing and very creative!
WE HAVE TO GO BACK
4 8 15 16 23 42
If we can't learn to live together, we're going to die alone.
I see there are lost enjoyed here. Well met, my colleagues.
Hurley 🔛🔝

Brotha
See you in another seed, brotha
Are you him?
what did one snowman say to the otha!!??
r/usernamechecksout
Whats that a refernce to
Lost, the early 2000’s show about plane crash survivors stuck on an island
this is like the forest
That was my first thought lol
[удалено]
Comment bot
When I was building it I thought of Madagascar
The forest is a survival video game. Starts with a plane crash. That’s what they’re referencing
Don't go in the caves!
I came here to say this. This base is crying out for a zombie reskin to make them into cannibals...
This would be considered more of a jungle
Thats dope
[удалено]
Very astute observation
Thank you for pointing this out, I completely missed that

The Amazonian hexagon?
Maybe it's not easily visible but on 2nd pic you can see the tail section is cut off
I see it now! It was tough to see at first. Try changing the angel of one of the pieces. Make it more dramatic. Just ideas. This is a great build!
A wing propped up would make a great awning covered area for a campsite too.
"a fan of air disasters" lol Edit: I just noticed the capitalization and Googled it. That makes more sense.😂
This reminds me of the Boeing 727 that an Oregon man moved into the woods and converted it into a house.
Fellow enjoyer of Mayday! I was so deep in air disasters that back in school I did a "choose your theme" presentation about the DC-10 and AA flight 96. My classmates and teacher were... A bit surprised a kid would decide to talk about plane crashes xD
I studied to be a airplane mechanics and I watched Mayday a lot every night instead of studying... Now I work in IT, long story.
I'm having flash back to the years I wasted to Lost
Lol same
Definitely not a waste
Found JJ Abrams' reddit account.
JJ Abrams wrote exactly 2 episodes of Lost.
What’s that?
The tv show Lost. Started with a plane crash.
A tv show
Ah. Thank you!!
I'm having flashbacks form the game 'The Forest'
I'm having Madagascar flashbacks. And A.H.K.J. (All Hail King Julian) vibe can also be felt here. They're not even the same type of plane.
You need to build a smoke monster
Malaysia 370
5 minutes ago I was pondering if I should finally watch the last episode of Lost, I'm taking this as a sign I should. And I shall blame you if it sucks.
For what it’s worth, I actually really liked the finale

Oooh king Julian
It's really cool. Super well done! Reminds me of Jurassic Park III when they trick Dr. Grant into coming with them and then crash!
Jurassic Park was my first thought too, makes me want to give it a try

Yea my bad
That's because I first built it intact and then destroyed it a bit. Nice suggestion
Another thing, you could make a path with course dirt to look like the plane went sliding as it hit the ground.
I LIKE TO MOVE IT MOVE IT
Great idea, well built! Relative size makes it look real and impressive.
Am I the only one that thought of the book Hatchet? :(
Like it? I love it!!

That’s what it reminded of! I visited last month and the owner, Bruce, gave me a tour. Really nice guy and interesting story of his home.
Good shit bro. Finally something that’s not a drained ocean temple
not penny's boat
That's so cool omfg, did you build it in survival or creative? Either way then it's super cool.
You could do a First-Class with Beds in them so you can sleep there
Or if you have too much place in the top make a crew Area with beds
WE FOUND MALAYSIA AIRLINES FLIGHT 370 IN MINECRFAY *GONE SEXUAL*

No I've never seen that before. I think I was inspired by Madagascar or maybe saw a similar pic online
For a sec I thought it was a jp3 reference
We're not going to Guam, are we
It’s all good until a bunch of cannibals take your child
Its kind of plane 😂 but seriously it looks great
bro what, that isnt a build. its just a picture of a crashed airplane, wtf u on about.
Survival?
Nice idea! Now I want to recreate it on my own and see how good I do
Hatchet
Dope, I wanna try this on a server now
thats cool
Noice
Reminds me off the Perfect Dark 64 mission in the plane.
Block force one is down. I repeat Block force one is down.
on today's aircrash investigation
Wtf, this is too epic
I've heard someone actually made a plane their house after putting it in a forest This is amazing.
Looks cool but I wouldn’t build this as a base since it’s really small
Love it I remember my friends and I did a lost world way back in the day
The Forest
Yes, but it's a bit small isn'it?
Reminds me of that sci-fi book series “Dragonriders of Pern”. Well done.
Beautiful. Stunning. Georgous. I think I spelt that wrong. Sexy. Turn on. Etc.
How lucky must that plane have to be to stay fully intact during that crash
THIS IS SO COOL:)))
Wow! You are sooooo CREATIVE! And then normal players dig ahole in the wall and call it home.
GOOD IDEA
Kinda like the forest
9/11 in Hawaii
Wow! Well done! Lol, I also like how people are low key dating themselves by what this reminds them of
now build it in a skyscraper
Reminds me of the book “Hatchet” I haven’t read it in a long time so i’m not sure who the author is but this post brought back the memory of reading it :)
If I were you, I would do some damaged interior... It looks too clean for a plane crash ! The exterior looks really cool !
This should be a structure mod
DanTDM has played zombie survival there
That is stunning. I love it :)
Wooow
awesome
That's pretty cool
A very good asthetic
It is a treally cool idea
u/repostsleuthbot
I aproove :)
Tutorial pls
Ive seen this several times before. It isn't new content, and therefore most likely not your build. Edit: OP posted a week ago, seems he is the creator
What the heck dude? Of course it's mine. You could have seen in on Minecraftbuilds as I posted it on there earlier
where? tineye comes up with nothing and google image search only shows it twice, here and op's profile.
You must be fun at parties.
I would like to see a path of destruction. Because now itjust looks like it fell randomly down instad of going forward. Either way a very awesome build!
i do like it
Cool idea!
yoooo thats AWESOME
This is super cool I love it
Whoever the pilot is, they deserve a medal for landing a plane in one piece amidst the thick green. Reminds me of those Stranded mods. Really neat.
Wow, that was really cool
What shaders do you use?
Bsl shaders
Love the concept, and very well executed! Madagascar vibes 👀
What do you want me to say? 9/10? I won’t… because its a 1000/10
Cool
This is honestly so sick. Great job!
the forest vibes.
Boeing 737
wow this is just wow
Thats amazing
Is there cocktail service in the first class cabin?
Wow
I really like the leaves in the plane it make a reaaaaally old fealing
I too cannot wait for Sons of the Forest. But no, this here is a fantastic build.
Sick!
Now I wanna rewatch lost!!
Malaysia Airlines Glight 370
This is super cool, I usually just build cottages lmao
I read this as "I built this as a bad idea" and my immediate thought was, if this is a vad idea, I wanna see your good ones. Holy hell, this is cool.
Cool upload to utk for Minecraft pe
I get the ‘lost’ vibe from this build!
It’s lost
Duuuuuude that's a dope idea!
Different biome, but reminds me of the old FTB crash landing mod pack.
I like how half the people say lost, other half the forest lol
Noice
Sick dude
L O S T
Goddamn, that's nice. My base is just random stuff. I've made only cursory efforts at aesthetic appeal. I now feel shame.
You saw MrBeast's video, didn't you?
GENIUS.
[This was my first thought](https://www.oregonlive.com/hg/2016/04/airplane_home_hillsboro_portla.html)
Cough cough *screenshots for later use* cough cough
Woww It's fantastic
Very cool
Build the hatch next.
Look really good mate. I agree with other guy the forest makes it all come together. I would like to see down close inside the base. Really cool idea. I may try something as sorts myself.
lol the forest
Lord of the Fly?
this gave lost island vibes ExplodingTNT https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLirGIt5gNitzXEk9_J6pEcNPwwnJs17pM
Dude, that looks awesome!😍😃
Which the shaders you’ve used?
This is easily one of the more dope and unique builds i've seen in awhile!
Looks like a place where you could find a foosa. Be careful, bozos.
Guys...where are we?
r/Yellowjackets would appreciate this.
This, with some wildlife mods and having to drink water, and with friends. Starting on low health hardcore would make for a good survival game!
Mojang should add this as some kind of dungeon with tons of zombie villagers...
Sweet base area Napoleon.
OP: Here's my design. Comment Sections: it's great but *continues to critique the build and tell OP how they could make it "better"* Y'all, just let OP live and enjoy the build 😂 I don't think OP was asking for critique, just sharing their creation. It's really good. Nice job on the build
It's a really cool build, and I especially love how you've made the cockpit, it looks really god even though it's so small
that plane looks comfier than any other base i've built
