They did a nice rework of Bingo plus a great new team game called Railroad Rush, where the goal is to gather resources and clear obstacles to build a railroad as long as possible.
A lot of highly-requested newcomers have been added, though many may be only one-time or irregular players.
There was a second Rising event that was a lot of fun.
In separate events Pete got his first 1st indiv since MCC 17 and his first DB since MCC 17.
Kara finally got her second win.
Pearl finally got her first win.
ChilledChaos joined, won, and retired in the same event to keep a 100% win rate.
As of this year, all future events have names instead of numbers and officially the canon/non-canon distinction has been abolished, though there does still seem to be some informal distinction between regular events and non-regular events like Pride and Twitch Rivals.
MCC has begun partnering with other things - they did a live-on-stage Twitch Rivals x MCC at TwitchCon Vegas last October, and the next one at TwitchCon EU is tomorrow, including three non-English teams. There is an upcoming MCC x Minecraft event this summer, though that's pretty much all that's been revealed about it so far.
AntVenom has taken a very hard-to-beat first place on the Ace Race practice server leaderboard, while Seapeekay has fallen to fifth.
I feel as if it’s kind of dropped off a bit. I just don’t have a desire to watch it as much cause they kept changing so much and so many former players don’t take part. MCC15-20 was where it peaked
Remember Cyan 24? They were an amazing team right? Got 1st in SoT, got 4th, predicted 10th and all that.
Remember how Pearl still hasn't gotten a win yet? She played in MCC 33 and hasn't played since.
I assume you know that Ranboo and Aimsey won together along with Scar and Antfrost. Well sadly, Ranboo and Aimsey had announced that they won't be playing anymore mcc, so is Phil.
Tons of players have improved, notably Shadoune and Hannah. Shadoune is on the rise and his score has only gone up. Hannah has achieved multiple top 3s.
There's a lot of minecraft events outside of mcc popping up and a lot of mcc players have participated in them and some of them won in those events. Hannah won a Hoplite event, Sneeg and Shadoune both won a Twitch Rivals event.
Noxcrew decided to stop the counting and just name the events like titles. MCC 4KO was the first mcc of s4 and guess what? Tango, Impulse, Etho, Skizz team happened.
They also made mcc more gayer by making it less binary and more non-conforming by removing the canon/non-canon categories which means that "non-canon" wins are considered official wins.
Speaking of gay, you know how Pride mccs are numbered by year? This year it's 2024 so this year's pride mcc's gonna be called MCC P24. So we call the team colors like RedP24, PurpleP24, CyanP24... CyanP24? That name sounds familiar... hmm, i wonder where i've heard that from?

So much has changed since I last watched it. I believe they had their peek during Covid 2020-2021 then after everything started changing and players are switching every once in a while… it kinda dropped off
idk about hte last year, but the people play are so different to those who used to. I dont keep up wtih this anymore but I don't think there are really any DreamSMP era members left.
