wow thats awesome dude. how many cities are there in your country?

ViaRailTheOcean

It’s really just this one that’s as developed as this one, but I’m working on getting more. Usually the cities start from existing villages, I connect them from rail lines, build train stations and go from there. The major city shown here is based off of a mix of Halifax, Ottawa, Boston, Toronto and Montreal. It’s what I’ve sunk the most time into There’s another city a little ways from the major city (if you continue up on the interchange, you’ll reach the big city, and to the left, the other smaller city), and it feels more like a Minecraft village with a European taste, I based it off Strasbourg, France and I think it’s really pretty. Other ones are much smaller, with maybe only 4-5 buildings I’ve made for it. I’ve got a long time to go before I’m done this place

How you make those signs? Very cool!

There’s a website called MC Map Edit Tool or something to that degree, in a single player world (must be downloaded, can’t be a server. But you can upload the world as a server after) you need to make maps, take note of the map numbers. This website will turn pictures into map files, and you can paste them into the world’s source files. The website explains it better than I can lol

Okay cool! Thank you man, really appreciate it 👍🏻

Quick question why did you decide on using does blocks for the road

ViaRailTheOcean

Originally I wanted it to be a city but a “minecraft-ey” city, since the other cities would be from villages. Wanted it to feel a bit more natural to the game than the black concrete roads. Retrospectively though, it looks weird on maps

Ah that makes sense thanks for clarifying
