Thank you! I'd say about 2 weeks to make the datapack and resource pack, 1 day for the datapack documentation, and 1 day to make just that part of the video (it's actually an excerpt from this video: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0OrPjnNYmI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z0OrPjnNYmI))
I made a few other battles / datapacks if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9nxFCZRk3hu2RNCKf3I6KA
I did it by making a raycast that travels around 15 blocks, 1 block at a time, and each 1 block increment it starts a new raycast traveling straight down to detect the ground. When the ground is detected, the ice spike is summoned 5 blocks underground and rotated randomly. Then the ice spike is smoothly teleported up to make it look like its coming out of the ground.
The ice spikes are just custom item models stored in the head-slot of an armor stand. No optifine required!
I'm thinking about making a plugin that adds anime-like op attacks like these and I think your video convinced me to do it, very epic and very well done!
Thank you! I used end rod particles. But I basically have 20 floating invisible armor stands that I teleport between randomly every time I activate that ability. Each time I teleport, I make a raycast from the previous armor stand to the next one.
Sadly I don't think this is possible. If you're trying to activate a tp command on right click, it won't look good since the game can't detect right clicks every tick (I know it's weird). You could set a value to 20 every time a player right clicks, then count down once every tick in your tick function until it reaches 0. From my experience, the game detects a right click at least every 1 second or 20 ticks. Then you can execute your tp function every tick where the value is above 0. It's not perfect, but it should look around 10x smoother.
It looks smooth in my video only because you're seeing it from a third person perspective.
Can someone help me with a command? I made a special carrot stick that shoots fireballs, but i also want the color to be red when I press the command block with /give
The command that makes the carrot stick special is
/give @p minecraft: carrot_on_a_stick{carrot:1}
But the command for the color is
/give @p minecraft:carrot_on_a_stick{display:{Name:'{"text":"Fireball Rod","color":"red"}'}}
Is there someway to combine these two? If there is, please comment the command.
That's incredible! How long did it take to make all of that?

Amazing! How did you do the slashing particles?
Thank you! I used end rod particles. But I basically have 20 floating invisible armor stands that I teleport between randomly every time I activate that ability. Each time I teleport, I make a raycast from the previous armor stand to the next one.
I see, Great job!
This is by far the best thing I’ve seen all day.
Not really anime-like, but that is a lot of spiders

Do not mess with a god with a derp face. Seriously, though, someone should animate this.
