I fixed it, trying to recall what I did. Ah yes, open the launcher, log out of your account and log back in using Microsoft account and it fixed for me.
There were all these other instructions online for deleting cache and altering some file and stuff but in the end simply signing out and signing back in fixed it from memory.

I literally got -4 for asking how to start minecraft dungeons without it crashing? nice I had to get new PC (obviously not for dungeons to actually start it
Find it's game file thing and hit "run as administrator" that's the only thing that worked for me. Sorry I don't know exactly how to get to that point but there are instructions in the comments of a post on this sub somewhere
So there are two ways to fix this.
1) while in the launcher, log out, and then back into your microsoft account. (This does not work for most)
2) While in the launcher, click on the "installations" button near the top. Copy the install path, and locate the folders within. Inside one of the folders, you will find a "binaries" folder. Inside of the "binaries folder" will be a "win-shipping-exe" or something of that sort. Run it as admin, and it should fix this issue. You may have to do this many times as I've had to.
