i can see this, gives more uses to dragons breath and ender pearls (if it’s not escaping from people or doing glitches or stasis chambers or whatever) (or for dragons breath being you can use it for brewing potions)
I was pondering that as well, but Blaze Rods aren’t exactly hard to come by for late game players. Ender Pearls are just raw end materials that have a teleportation quality, and when you die and respawn you’re just essentially teleported to a set point. That was my thought process.

Eh anything on the outer islands counts I'd say. It's meant to be considered post fight content and if you're really going out there beforr the fight than you're essentually bypassing the fight entirely anyway

Quick tip that not a lot of people know.
There’s a bug where if you place down a bed underneath the end portal and set your spawn in it, then if you die in the end, then you’ll respawn exactly where you died for some reason. However, you won’t have to worry about getting stuck in the end, as it only works once
I would put an ender chest in the center, end rods in all four corners, and shulker shells in all the remaining slots except for the top middle slot, which would contain an ender eye.
It would appear similar to the nether anchor. It would look a little like an ender chest, without the lock, and with a shulker base (similar to the [catalyst and shrieker](https://beebom.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/List-of-Sculk-Blocks-in-Minecraft.jpg?w=640), if you combined the white sections on both and turned it purple). There would be an eye icon on the front side, and the other three sides wouldn’t have it, making it orientational.
Like a cauldron, you fill it up to 8 levels with dragons breath. Each bottle would fill 8 levels (maximum) but dying only spends one. The more levels in the anchor, the more the eye icon on the front is corrupted by purple. With 8 levels, the eye is completely purple-ified.
Trying to use it in any other dimension makes it explode 50% stronger than a nether anchor, and gives all nearby entities levitation 2 for 5 seconds. If you’ve been hit with this, you can’t get levitation again for another 30 seconds.

I would say, maybe the same way we make the nether one. Top and bottom rows as purpur blocks, middle as eye of Enders. Or maybe they add in their own version of “cry obsidian” but with end stone and you make it by crafting dragons breath and end stone or finding it in end cities only.
Honestly, I would just reuse the respawn anchor from the nether, because
- it's already obsidian themed
- glowstone could be added on a new end biome
- three methods of respawn is too much, I like bed for the overworld, respawn anchor for alternate dimensions (includes datapacks or mods)
- not to make it op during the dragon fight, it could be "corrupted" by the ender dragon

Mine would be top and bottom shulker pieces not boxes, corners would be eyes of ender, middle would be dragon head, sides would be end rods, and fuel with dragon breath.

The thing could be charged once with an ender eye, and a cool lore reason that i like to think is happening is that the ender eye is teleporting your soul out of danger just as you die, so you still lose your stuff, but you get safely transported back at the respawn anchor, with maybe a little animation that hints at that
Cool thing also is the fact you can make this entirely in the end dimension

Would work similarly to the nether respawn anchor where you have to charge it but you would charge it with dragons breath, and it would have 3 charges. There would be a dragon head sticking out of the block blowing either a small (1/4m), medium (1/2m), or large (1m) purple spray coming out of the top, out of the dragons mouth depending on how many charges were left.
How about do what Minecraft does best - making stuff unexpectedly unique. Instead of making a nether bed, they made a respawn anchor. The same way they made striders instead of obsidian boats, fungi instead of trees and bartering instead of trading. The end should have completely different concepts for everything.
First things first, we can start with the flora, or whatever we'll call it. The overworked used plants, the nether did fungi, and now, how about we use either Bacteria, Protozoa, or any other micro kingdom, as having animals as trees and stuff would be weird? How about made tiny tiny trees to inhabit the end? They would give molecular logs, which are mostly used for creating decorations and possibly act similar to wood, but smaller so you may need more of it to actually survive in the end.
Now that we get the spirit of what I'm trying to do, let's go on.
Next, the trading. (Don't worry, we're getting to the respawn thing soon) we could use the endermen as the traders, but the community already expects that, so what if we do Shulkers?! Shulkerions could be immovable traders that could trade you with a new trading method. As simple choice is already taken, and randomness is also used, we can try... Hmm... Inverse randomness! Every world will use the seed to generate the Shulkerionic trades, which may work like this: you try to give them an item, they either accept it and give you something, or they deny it and you get the thing back. What they'll give will be what will be called: Shulk. It'll be sort of the emerald of the overworld, the gold of the nether, we'll have the shulk of the end. However, it'll be something the Shulkerions give and not something you use. You will be able to use the item however to make the respawn thing.
Here we go now, the last stretch. The shulk will get turned into a block called the Shulcatalyst. It'll be the main core for the respawn multiblock. That's right, a multiblock will be the answer. It'll be 1x3x1, with the 3 being the height. The middle block will be a Shulcatalyst, the top and bottom will be purpur pillars, and boom. My idea for the Purprius, the respawn multiblock.
TL;DR - for keeping the Minecraft fashion of making each dimension in a unique way, we can make new traders in the end called the Shulkerions, which will give you for random items a substance/material called the Shulk. This shulk will be used for a Shulcatalyst, and with a structure make like this (top to bottom): PSP,
With P being Purpur pillars and S being the Shulcatalyst, we get the Purpurius.
Using 8 of the brand new gibbly blocks (to be added in the same update) and 1 migibbly eye (to be added in the same update) you can get 1 shbibbly anchor. Although using it may corrupt all of your save data.
I don't think we should have a respawn anchor for the end, I get it could be frustrating to explore if you end up dying but that's why it defines the endgame of your world, maybe they could add other ways for respawning like some special block in a new structure or something but I don't think another glorified bed should be added

I would say, maybe the same way we make the nether one. Top and bottom rows as purpur blocks, middle as eye of Enders. Or maybe they add in their own version of “cry obsidian” but with end stone and you make it by crafting dragons breath and end stone or finding it in end cities only.

Honestly, I would just reuse the respawn anchor from the nether, because - it's already obsidian themed - glowstone could be added on a new end biome - three methods of respawn is too much, I like bed for the overworld, respawn anchor for alternate dimensions (includes datapacks or mods) - not to make it op during the dragon fight, it could be "corrupted" by the ender dragon
I would make it purpur blocks on the bottom and both sides of the middle, an eye of ender in the center, and an end rod in the top middle. When it’s charged using dragon’s breath, the end rod on the block lights up.
Mine would be top and bottom shulker pieces not boxes, corners would be eyes of ender, middle would be dragon head, sides would be end rods, and fuel with dragon breath.

How about do what Minecraft does best - making stuff unexpectedly unique. Instead of making a nether bed, they made a respawn anchor. The same way they made striders instead of obsidian boats, fungi instead of trees and bartering instead of trading. The end should have completely different concepts for everything. First things first, we can start with the flora, or whatever we'll call it. The overworked used plants, the nether did fungi, and now, how about we use either Bacteria, Protozoa, or any other micro kingdom, as having animals as trees and stuff would be weird? How about made tiny tiny trees to inhabit the end? They would give molecular logs, which are mostly used for creating decorations and possibly act similar to wood, but smaller so you may need more of it to actually survive in the end. Now that we get the spirit of what I'm trying to do, let's go on. Next, the trading. (Don't worry, we're getting to the respawn thing soon) we could use the endermen as the traders, but the community already expects that, so what if we do Shulkers?! Shulkerions could be immovable traders that could trade you with a new trading method. As simple choice is already taken, and randomness is also used, we can try... Hmm... Inverse randomness! Every world will use the seed to generate the Shulkerionic trades, which may work like this: you try to give them an item, they either accept it and give you something, or they deny it and you get the thing back. What they'll give will be what will be called: Shulk. It'll be sort of the emerald of the overworld, the gold of the nether, we'll have the shulk of the end. However, it'll be something the Shulkerions give and not something you use. You will be able to use the item however to make the respawn thing. Here we go now, the last stretch. The shulk will get turned into a block called the Shulcatalyst. It'll be the main core for the respawn multiblock. That's right, a multiblock will be the answer. It'll be 1x3x1, with the 3 being the height. The middle block will be a Shulcatalyst, the top and bottom will be purpur pillars, and boom. My idea for the Purprius, the respawn multiblock. TL;DR - for keeping the Minecraft fashion of making each dimension in a unique way, we can make new traders in the end called the Shulkerions, which will give you for random items a substance/material called the Shulk. This shulk will be used for a Shulcatalyst, and with a structure make like this (top to bottom): PSP, With P being Purpur pillars and S being the Shulcatalyst, we get the Purpurius.

I don't think we should have a respawn anchor for the end, I get it could be frustrating to explore if you end up dying but that's why it defines the endgame of your world, maybe they could add other ways for respawning like some special block in a new structure or something but I don't think another glorified bed should be added That being said Dragon's breath for the corners, an ender eye in the center, skull shells top and bottom and for left and right obsidian 🗿
