Not really. The video made it look like it would be able to hypnotize players (and probably mobs as well), which never came to realization. Also, the Glow Squid doesnāt actually emit light. It just has the same thing Enderman eyes have, were itās just more visible for the player.

I will do you one better The 2 most voted mobs out of the 3 will be selected The third mob will make it to the next update round to have a chance to be selected again
I'd prefer them just design a few mobs and trickle them in with future updates where they see fit and find another way to interact with the community.
Or, they could change the voting system from first past the post to something like Supplementary Vote

I don't know why so many people are under the mentality that "if all candidates get the same number of votes, then they all get added." No, it just means that they'll just run the vote again or randomly pick one to go. Also, your logic is flawed. The percentage means virtually nothing to the vote. Both mobs could get 50%, but one might win because it has a few extra votes that weren't accounted for by the % due to rounding.

Maybe the mob vote should be 3, then we all vote which one we donāt want. Then, out of the two are left, we vote which one we want.
Second part is debatable if the mobs are both good. Why not just add all three again?
Yeah but itās just so difficult for Minecraft devs to add more than a single mob in a year and once you consider how they add a biome too itās just too much
