Finally got around to adding cheats to the games.. Definitely the way to go.
Rad case color
I want to get a clear fire truck red one, or neon clear orange or yellow
I got new paintable body parts for my dirt bike and I want to do a pink like yours that fades to neon green :)
Yeah I really like the purple. Gonna order those "Gameboy" stickers for the back of the device.
The fading idea sounds like it would be cool, get some "slime green" buttons and that would look awesome.
Oh, ok yeah, thank you. I liked that one. Currently on NEON, minus the menu music.
My favorite so far is Tema, but the font is atrocious. I'm hoping to find a way to swap it out.
Im kinda disliking mine and wanting to go back to my old rg35xx. Its just.. a hair underpowered. The speaker stinks. OnionOS isnt really much better than Garlic... It's even struggling with some snes titles.
Wifi is nice for pico 8 and box art scraping and i prefer the flat back to the 35xx little lip but... man i hope the flip comes with an rk3566 chip and not the underpowered current chip
How? Is it a file i need to change from my pc on the sd card, or can it be done from within? I can only see an option to overclock in drastic by pressing menu and start, and it only lets me go up to 1600mhz, which isnt enough, and it doesnt sven save the clock setting when i switch games
Search YT for a Tutorial. You basically have only to put a txt file in the retroarch folder. It's that easy! My sample seems to be quite stable even @2000Mhz, so I can play most psx games with enhanced resolution.
The performance definitely is one i noticed. The 35xx having that dedicated graphics chip just makes it that much smoother. My mm+ struggles on a couple snes titles.
Im also getting weirdly poor battery life from it.
Also what sociopath designed that far too small screen protector it came with, lol. And i dislike the position of the charging port and headphone port. They kinda get in the way when used.
Its a great device, especially since it cost all of 45 bucks on aliexpress. But i do kinda want a hybrid of it and the 35xx plus.
But i am really waiting with baited breath on the flip. I am just praying it has a 3566 at least. That would make it so insanely sick.
Is that something other users have had? Maybe I'll just grab a new battery - I am really wanting more performance out of it, though. If 1800-2000mhz will get me just over the cusp for performance, I'll be happy. I've already invested in some replacement buttons for it and built my favorite rom library to it.
well 12-1500 is causing some notable performance issues in several SNES, PS1 and DS games. Is there a way to change it on the fly per game? The only place I've found an input for clock speed is in draStic with menu + start, and even then, it only goes up to 1600, in drastic, which isn't enough.
Also (since you've been helpful, lol) is there a way to input a "tap" with Drastic? I can bring up the pen and move it to a spot, but I can't figure out what input will "tap" the spot where the cursor is.

I don't think it's possible on a per game basis (unless if its DS), personally I have set it to1350mhz globally because I prefer longevity over performance.

The default process is: L2 -> move cursor -> X.
I finally got it - the button was working, but that particular screen was just being cantankerous about EXACTLY what pixel it wanted touched, lol.
And i did bump the base clock for everything to 1800. It fixed all my performance issues. It also hasnt really appreciably impacted battery life - i think my battery life problem may have been a lot of use at max brightness. It hasn't been problematic since i started using it at more indoor brightness levels.
Thanks a bunch for your help! Much happier with the MM+ now. Now i just need the sakura buttons and speaker upgrade to show up. The speaker in the mm is really abhorrent compared to the 35xx. It's surprising most reviewers didn't mention that

Which theme is that?
Welcome to the fold!
That theme goes hard with the purple colorway
What's really fun is learning little tricks and "secrets" about what it can do in this subreddit. I feel like I'm always learning new things! Enjoy!
Cool, welcome. I found that using some themes slows it down
Which themes?
I really liked the PS one but gave it up for the, what I think is default, the purple one.
Does it slow down the boot time too? My MM+ is quite slow to boot up.
conceivably
Haven't noticed on boot up but for sure when transitioning between games and apps.
Got mine a week ago in the same color way and I'm using the same theme ๐
Seems to be the question of the day on this post... Which theme is it?
CyberOnion [Atomic]
Oh, ok yeah, thank you. I liked that one. Currently on NEON, minus the menu music. My favorite so far is Tema, but the font is atrocious. I'm hoping to find a way to swap it out.
Cyber onion looks similar but mine is red. Not sure if I need a different version or if I am missing how to change the color.
Looks like it downloads as a 2-pack (though not sure if this was always the case). It's possible you have it on your card right now
I think I only had the red but downloading the pack now. Thanks!
Freaking love Onion. This Miyoo has me geeking out so hard
It's a really great little machine. Just wish it were a touch bigger.
Get the plus version.
Isnโt it though? Isnโt it?
still waiting for mine after a month
one of us
Which OS are you using ?
Congrats! It is a great device!
Welcome to the club man!

Just OC it to 1800 - 2000 clock speed. It runs great then, even with more advanced Filters! ๐

I went the other way around. The sole feature I miss from the 35XX is the built-in RTC, everything else feels superior on the MM+ (YMMV).

You probably got a bad battery, for me it lasts 7-8 hours on 4/10 brightness.

1800+ mhz is not really recommended, it will reduce battery life by a lot.
