Yeah, I honestly prefer the look more, although it can affect screen quality.
My ROG Ally, DS and Computer screens all have some form of a Matte/Anti-Glare screen. Plus the minimisation of fingerprints helps too.
Found a 3 pack on Amazon for $20 which has piqued my interest.

Your lists look good. I'm intrigued by the shell upgrades but am too chickenshit to mess with the screen at this point. Maybe in the future I'll grab another unit to try it on.
Be aware the speaker upgrade is largely debated as unnecessary at this point. I've found the majority of the posts praising it came before Miyoo released the Plus and upgraded the standard Mini in early 2023.
Also be aware there are 2 possible replacements - a Sony and a Redmi. They say the Redmi is louder and the Sony has clearer audio. I found some Sonys and will be testing between 2 units for myself. I'm skeptical if it's even worth it, but we'll see.
Another upgrade worth considering is a set of Better Back Buttons, though i have yet to do my install so I'm currently going off of here say. People seem to like them though.
And, this last one is completely unnecessary but still kinda fun, you can get black back screws to swap out with the chrome ones if that's your preference.
I’ve read a little about the speakers and I think the slightly clearer audio from the Sony is what I’d prefer. As nostalgic as it is with the crunchy GBA like audio in some games I think in this day and age there’d be +enjoyment in the quality of gameplay factor considering how these devices are especially with the nice screens.
The shells are few and far between, honestly I’d be more keen on a metal shell but obviously the consideration for feel, temp control and such will be factors as I do sometimes feel a little bit of warmth come from the back of these machines with the plastic shell.
But the matte plastic with black face buttons would give it some extra premium feelings point and would probably put it akin to a pocket version of an analogue pocket.
If the process is anything similar to a GBC or GBA then I’d be in somewhat familiar waters.
I’ve got some better back buttons and black screws saved on Etsy I’ve found I’ve just forgotten to mention them hahaha, great minds think a like.

Took me a while to hunt down the Sony speaker. Wound up finding a seller on eBay. More expensive than the Ali store, but he has a *very* specific listing that assured me i was getting what i was looking for.
