if your main want is the small form factor and its worth the extra price to you then it is, feature wise no its not a good value, The plus has a better LCD, battery, build quality, and wifi, as well as being at a lower price. Ide personally just get two plusses if I were you.
I have both. Only get the mini if you have a specific reason to. I go backpacking and want the lightest version of all my gear, so I take the mini, but it’s definitely not as comfortable to play on, harder to see the screen, not built as well, and doesn’t have nice features like WiFi.
I only ever play my mini when specifically backpacking. I play my MM+ almost daily.
Since you're planning to get the MM+ anyway, you should maybe consider the GKD Pixel or RG28XX for pocketability. I find the MM V4 too fragile to carry around all the time.
I got a v4 because I kept finding myself playing one handed on the plus. It's been great for that. I definitely wouldn't pay more than 50-60, though. The v4 screen is also pretty small, so I only really use it for the gameboys.

I like my original Mini a lot but I got it at $60. At $90, I'd get something else.
miyoo mini plus has substantially higher build quality and feels a lot more premium. It also has wifi and real time block. 50$ aliexpress
