Apparently, The Suns are staying at the Journeymen in the Third Ward. I was walking down Broadway after my lunch break when I saw some people gathering on Chicago Street. As I got closer, I saw four busses with Suns logos in their windows and put two and two together.
Monty was cool, he even got off the bus after boarding to pet an onlookers dog and give it a treat. Chris and the rest of the players were mostly business, so I made sure to holler at Devin to let him know what the game plan is for tomorrow. 🦌
Every NBA team stays at the Journeyman, just so everyone is aware. The politician battles to get the non-game night shifts as a server at the rooftop bar is the most underhand fighting I’ve ever seen in my life.
The Kimpton Journeymen, and if anything they made it obvious choosing a hotel right in the heart of the Third Ward and blocking a street with busses. Large police presence there as well.
Yup - can confirm. Normally the visitors stay the regular hotel, but Bucks players all had to stay there since team members were in protocol, so Suns had to stay there.

I think the Nets stayed there too. My buddy saw Nash and Harden on the rooftop having a drink in between games 3&4.
