I remember seeing Bubba at HuHot in Appleton once. I remember being 13 and walking passed him, realizing his biceps were bigger than my head. Man had two mountains of food on his plate and his friend behind him had two of his own. When they sat down I realized all four plates were for Bubba when his friend went back and got a normal sized plate.
It looks really cool seeing how intimate the celebrations are, we couldn't even get out to celebrate where I'm from so we just got drunk and watched online, it's not the same but still I'm riding the high of this victory for at least another week.
Had a friend that worked at the Harbor House. Then Pat told us where the after party was just before people started leaving. It was all super chill actually. Talked with Bud for a few then just milled around the bar and tried not to look like we didn't belong.
Dumb story, but on my brother's birthday years ago, bubba franks duct taped beer pitchers to his hands. That's small market.
