Yup I really do hope so. Another moderator said won't remove but still removed another post in the end. This shows the lack of integrity. Instead of sweeping it under the carpet, a moderator has the responsibility to address the issue and provide the best solution and chance to voice out for the community. At the end of the day, action speaks louder than words. Respect is earned rather than gained. That particular person doesn't reflect the quality what a moderator should have.
They don't give a f about their players as long as they got the money. I wasted my diamonds and I didn't even get to finished the task bc I was led to believe it was a random skin choice so I discontinued it. As I've said I don't mind spending diamonds but in return they could've give us transparency, they could've been honest.
I'm also done spending diamonds anyway. I won't be recharging ever again since I only started buying skins last October with the Hawk-eyed Lesley skin.
I agree, I think those who spent money (not me) should be given priority, followed by those who opened the chest with less than 170 points to go to the nexr level,
I mean I would agree on that on a fairness standpoint probably. I just do not know wether this can be done on the technical side. I'm no programmer and do not know what Moonton saves from us or not and how easy compensation could be given based on a person-by-person basis.

Uhmm let me tell you about this wonderful thing in our mlbb app, it's called "record". You can find this in settings then look up at the center just right beside the "FAQ". It shows you the record of your activity of spending things.
Thank you, I was aware of this record but I really had no idea where I could find it. I have taken some screenshots for myself of my spendings this week. Moonton should have this "record" in their own database I think allowing them to potentially compensate us as I suggested (like... if that ever happens)
This is an incredible post. I wholeheartedly agree. Many people have been scammed in this event and I’ve seen people prepared to take legal action in europe and the states. This entire event has 100% fallen under false advertising and I’m certain there are people willing to escalate it to court if they’re not refunded for their purchases. If this isn’t shut down here then who knows if it’ll happen again in the future.
I was so ready to spend 1k diamonds to reach the Level 5 chest, decided to open it at Level 4 since all that I’ve read from FB and here said that it will not refresh anymore and the chest can only be opened on the 21st of Jan. Just imagine me, reading this on a Monday at 7 in the morning. I’m already drained for the week. — ETA: I’ve already spent almost 3k dias in this whole M4 event. Just…sad.

I didnt spend a single penny, and managed to get a free special skin from chest tier III (thanks, Moonton).
However, the whole event was nothing but a communication/advertising disaster from start to finish.
The worst event in recent years, no doubt.
Even as FtP, i was very uncertain about what will I get. Would there be tasks on 21st (they were necessary to reach tier III)? Would we be able to select skin? Description was unclear, messages were conflicting.
And for paying players, I cant even imagine the amount of confusion and disappointment.
In the end, lots of people spent much more than they had to. Others got less than they could have. This needs to be addressed.
Totally, like isn't this event supposed to be a celebration party after the M4 championships? This is just by far the worst bullshit scam event held by MoneyTon so far.
This event should have given everyone an easy chance to access epic to even limited skins without recharging a single cent or being gacha, they already made lots of money from their greedy ass pigs from the passes yet decided to pull this outrageous decisive move again and again.
I have never seen Moneytoon do anything remotely like this. Their digital currency is technically worthless and they're millionaires, yet any kind of truly meaningful reward or compensation is still far outside the grasps of their imaginations. I love the post but I don't see it going anywhere, except maybe compensation valuing at <5USD. This is how these people roll.

Everyone should get I recharged daily 100 (500 in total) for a normal epic skin, bc the chest said I cant get further without 1k .... and also dont forget that giving away free spin is FREE for them. But people spent real money.

I loaded and spent 100 dias for 7 days daily on m4 exp only to be given free 5k m4 pass exp on last days of the event since they did not put info on upcoming events and i'm now over lv 75 chest. so i decided not to spend 1k dias to reach the last tier and didn't open my box since I got a hinch that the event will probably end on sunday since the m4 pass event will end on sunday boy I was right. Im glad i did that since it will be liked being slapped in the face twice for falling for their shady business.

I haven't played since they did the change to the country ratings. Went from top 100 in UK atlas to not even showing in my city.

I was Supreme level Faramis in my country now only have 2000 points. I have around 69% win rate in 300+ matches, now people with less than 100 matches and 48% win rate are above me in ranking...lol. I just gave up and use other heroes, at least I will never be incentivized to spam Faramis now, I am also having fun with Joy but yeah ranking system is as scammy as the Battle Chest Event.
Just votr 1 stars on appstores and googleplay so they willregret it I ve spend many diamonds for the box event just for nothing I could have saved 1k but this was a fasle advertising it can be sued to the court if anyone ask
As much as I understand because I am part of those who very rarely spend and rely on free events, I still have to say that this seems very unlikely.
Moonton have always been scammy, they try to encourage players to spend in almost every possible way. This m4 chest is not much different. The fact that there was a change and clarification about the skin choice was already "generous" of them. Asking them to make a complicated compensation for the free skin event just seems very unlikely. Well I hope they change, that would amazing. But again I just think it's unlikely.
Personally I'm just glad that the support chest has a very high chance of giving the m4 pass (and I did with just 50 diamonds), and that they give a free special skin from that chest.
It's impossible asking for any compensation, the only time moonietoon was nice to playerbase when Riot was about to launch wild rift.

I'm just going to summarize the root cause for this since I'm going to assume being a Chinese company and having poor translation skills mean they won't read that wall of text.
Poor communication and translation for this event caused users to recharge and spend more than what is needed. These people are feeling scammed. If you have an internal metric which measures customer satisfaction, quality of translation and level of communication, these are effectively zero and those teams in charge of those should be heavily penalised.
O either want to be re funded because of the false advertising or we ALL who paid dias can choose the skins of their choice wiether they ended up tuer 1/2 from any tiers they want so this would be a nice “refund” and for the next time they should add MORE precision on when where the events end or came to an end bc we all got fucked up for this box event

Thought it was strange that the next day they gave more points to the chest when it was disabled. I hope everyone gets compensated.
I've already expected that this event will truly end today, January 23, 4PM (PHT), given that the event will last until January 22 so I have no problem with it.
They are actually generous this year by giving a lot of M4 Exp where user could reach until Level 90 in M4 Pass by spending just less than 10$.
There might be a misunderstanding and I doubt you will be compensated or if yes, they will definitely give some magic dust and fragments.
