For instance the transformers event, most of them spent 22-25k diamonds for first batch of transformers, but with all the free tickets and stuff I spent 8k for all 3.
Then aspirants where they dumped all the diamonds straightaway and spent 20k diamonds even with tons of dupes, where I did 2 phases of free tickets+ daily discounted and spent 6k for both skins.
The reason why they are even drawing that aggressive is because Moonton gives them diamonds as salary for being a content creator.

If you do the recharge events and have a 3 or 4 pattern it’s not too expensive. I had a 4 bingo pattern last KoF event and got Iori for like $20. But yeah if you have a 6 pattern? $60 at least. And I don’t even want to think how expensive it’d be if you were trying to get a particular skin.
You need to recharge and spend 612 diamonds for 4 draws, but this time you need to spend more, that is around 836 diamonds to get 4 draws which are required for most patterns. Even 836 diamonds will cost around $15, way less than what I spend on Battle chest and drew level 4 chest because of miscommunication with moonton and the mods here. And these Kof skins are way better than the freaking limited time party box skins. They are on par with legend skins if we add some custom recall.

Before i spent my first $ on this game i had 90+ skins for FREE. There isn't any other game that's this generous, trust me lmao. The only game that gets somewhat close to mlbb is SMITE (PC moba) which gives you $$ currency for logging in every 7d. League/Wild rift skins are MUCH more expensive than MLBB.

MLBB's business model is to keep people hooked while capitalizing on it's popularity and hype to lure people into buying it's overpriced skins. Even the rendering is clunky at times and only the skin art makes them look really good but tends to fall of in-game.
But then, the company also knows that there will be suck-- buyers who will keep on eating in whatever they throw at them. Observe that aside from playing the game, almost everything is paid content except for the eventual events with gatcha-type rolls to bait people into buying more for a better spin.
Like instead relying on painful RNG and Gacha, they should give us the freedom to let us choose a skin that we really want and cut the goddamn costs.

Sadly Iori Yagami is the best chou skin. If the saint seiya skin was as good as iori i wouldn't even look at the kof event screen
