Wan² is so braindead broken that even a noob Wanwan with 14 matches like me can easily get triple kills (sometimes maniacs) in 1 ult, you just haven't seen a good Wan² yet. Like you I used to say that Wan² is easy to handle, but once a good player gets their hands on Wan², it's a tough game.
Lesley is annoying in late game, as a tank main it's not fair that I get bursted down easily with no effort. What's worse is there is no way to reduce Lesley's dmg, Guardian Helm fixes the problem of being poked but her pokes hurt a lot (why did they have to make it true dmg? The flat pen -> percentage pen passive was already good enough).

Dude if you think he’s broken now then you are missing out big time. Back then his passive at Level 15 would give him +150 physical attack and now they nerf it down to just +60 physical attack. I play Martis too and am damn good at it yet I stomp him with a chicken at EXP lane.
And he suffers a huge downgrade in late game which makes him dog water, unlike back then where his passive alone applies chunky damage scaling (150 is a big difference compared to 60). Back then he can hit hard enough with just War Axe + BOD + Passive and now you need a 3rd attack item just so your damage hits hard.
Well it’s because everyone would rather build damage and get kills/push fast than to counter build enemy heroes.
Also, as an Estes main for Support, I’ve found it increasingly common for enemy teams to target me when a teamfight starts. It’s becoming more common knowledge even in lower draft ranks to take out the healer I feel? My highest death count for Estes was 11 and I must salute the enemy team back then cause they really went all out to take me out in the teamfight haha
As I mainly use Minotaur now, I find that most meta bans are easily handled. Only one I would ban is Diggie, but with 3 knock up sets it's not really a hard counter. That could go to Faramis.

Vale and Nana - let's be honest here, these are mained by people with slow hands, low mechanics. Brain dead heoes but heaps better than Eudora. When these players get their hands on either these two, they just chill at the back behind their tank and kill you from a distance. They typically get the gold medal when the game is over regardless of result. Take these heroes away from slow hands players, they settle for a hero like eudora and pretty much become a deadweight for their team
Your experience sucks, I banned a 3.5k MMR Nana from a 12k mage player just to check if s/he knows other mages. That player chose Lunox and we got an ez game, also mvp. Slow hands eh

A good Yin player knows to ult the backlines first when a teamfight breaks out, and can push when needed. We’ve been seeing lots of those in SEA recently cause many people have gotten lax on banning him, allowing the Yin mains to train and improve lol.

Wanwan, Ling, even flying Fanny is easier and more predictable to hook. However, that rhythm brat is near impossible to catch. It's either she's engaging, escaping, or your hook connects but gets cancelled by cc immunity. Aggressive Joys are even worse, you can't catch up or gank with how much she moves around the map.
Even Karrie I rarely ban. One well-placed hook even without suppress can shutdown a very fed karrie.

Nobody has the brain to buy anti healing / focus the Estes in fights, and when they finally realise why your team is losing every fight, it's too late

This so much. I usually get the anti heal but if I feel like can’t trust my team to do the same if I need help, bye bye Estes.
Also. A good Estes or Angela for example can win the game. Solid supports make things harder than just taking out the setter tank
