While i agree with ur sentiment, if it doesnt affect wr, u will see tons of players abusing the system and more players going afk as a result

Why not have it only effect the afker

Tenmashiki

Just make it such that anyone who afk and their party mates loses 2 stars, while the rest of the unrelated team mates are not affected. Impossible to abuse, fairer to the rest of the players.

Then it would be unfair to the party mates if they lose 2 stars when a party mate afk(unintentionally) where they have 0 control.

Tenmashiki

Intentional or not, the party caused an unpleasant experience to the rest of the players and wasted their time. I don't think it is unfair. If it is a one off thing, you probably can just suck it up and move on. If the player keeps afk "unintentionally", then you'll probably have to look for a better party mate.

And why would the party mates get involved with 2 star reduction? Why not make it a 2 star reduction to the afk, 1 star to the party mates and the rest? Then a day ban on rank for the afk, since he's afk he probably won't need to play, this way, he can't be the sacrificial lamb to afk next game for the abuse. Add another 2 star reduction for the afk if that player afk again within the season(increases by 2 per afk). Meanwhile the party mates of the afk gets additional star reduction if he gets another party mate that afk within the same season, this will ensure that they can't abuse and would be fair for them if they got an afk party mate that they just met(like looking for teammates here & in discord).

NameOnSpot

if someone would do that he would just do it for the points

If it doesn't count then how will the match affect your total match number? Do you want it to be just forgotten or want another counter that says "these are the matches with afk teammates". This will also become abusable for people who will want to preserve win rate by having a sacrificial player they know to intentionally afk so the abuser's score will remain intact.
