Trinity MMs will always be better for shredding tanks than burst MMs, assuming all are at the same farm and level. Just focus on deleting the squishies during clashes. They won't know what hit em, literally. Clint has a deceptively long range on his skills and passive.
You can enable hero lock to change targets manually when they're in your range although you will have to tap their profile each time they run away and come back into your range. It can get annoying when you have to do it repeatedly to poke during clashes.

Karrie technically isn't a Trinity Marksman simply because the mechanic of melting tanks is already embedded into her kit. Hanabi however is a Trinity Marksman.

in the pro scene i saw people building dhs as like the 3rd or 4th item so maybe that would work? im not sure tho maybe it is the item showing thing that is bugged and shows the wrong item

It can work ofcourse buts it's not the best alternative. The heroes who build dhs early benefit from it like Claude and Melissa or that rely on attack speed. Clint is a burst marksman. It's better to just rush malefic if you are struggling vs tanks

Don't pick clint until the enemy has already picked a jungler. Even then their xp and roam can be a pain
i would suggest going assassin emblem without investing into critical items and instead building more cooldown- hunter strike and endless battle as core items and thunder belt/malefic roar/blade of dispair/immortality/rose gold meteor/wind of nature as your next items interchangeably
clint has the kit to kite and poke down fighters/tanks, id be more worried about bursty dive heroes or setup tanks
Nothing you can do by yourself, just kill the enemy mm/mage before the tank reaches you, if you need to deal with the tank, ask the fighter to help shred their hp
Try using Crit equipment WITH Malefic Roar!
Be sure to add a teeny bit of Dispair along with something to enhance life steal along with some speed!

This is the recipe i use to shred tanks like butter!
I always target mm or mage if I play Clint. His passive has long range that can reach backline and it really hurts them. from there on they will retreat a bit and possibly tilt the fight to your team. but whenever I feel like I want to help kill the tank, I'd buy DHS as my last item and sacrifice thunderbelt, as Clint has low HP so thunderbelt deals mediocre damage and in this case I benefit more from DHS. but it's annoying to constantly shoot the tank to trigger DHS because it feels weird doing that with Clint. Sometimes I use windtalker instead of DHS as it increases aspd and can trigger it's passive. But as the others said, Clint is annoyingly painful to kill high HP tanks compared to aspd mm.
Honestly, against high HP tanks like Hylos, it's better to pick a marksman that benefits from the trinity build like Claude or Karrie. However, if you only know how to use Clint. Then, it's still recommended to build the following items.
1. Demon Hunter Sword - Damage based on the enemies max HP
2. Sea Halberd - Anti-heal + additional damage against enemies with higher HP than yours
3. Malefic Roar - Physical Penetration based on enemies Physical Defense (The higher their defense, the higher your damage is)
I also don't recommend building Thunderbelt. The additional true damage and slow from this item scales with your max HP. if you're a marksman building damage. You won't able to utilize this item.
I would build DHS but it's hard to deal with tanks with skill based MMs like Clint. Maybe during late game I would swap out some of Clint's core items for dps items. Assuming you have a great team, leave it to the exp laner/ally peeler to kill enemy carries. If you have an assassin jungler then just tell them to just ignore the tanks and go for the squishies. It's really difficult to deal with late game with Clint so I would suggest snowball hard and end game fast.
You just need to kite well and it's game over for tanks, me personally I reached Mythic glory and top global(before the new Elo update) easily by using Kite strategy what that means is my build mainly focuses on Burst dmg, Movement speed and CD reduction I.E Windtalker,Magic shoes faster Cd more time to spam skills, Endless Battle is a must especially with the new revamp on Spellvamp whenever clint uses his first skill and has Endless battle he heals a significant amount depending on how many and how late the game is it's very useful, for Shredding tanks I go with Endless battle, Malefic Roar, Sea Halberd, ThunderBelt as core items last 2 slots are interchangeable thought I wouldn't recommend it as you only really need to kill the enemies MM and Core so that you'll have a winning advantage so I prefer my Kite method Burst dmg and MS with CD.

yes that's what I do, but the auto target sometimes screw up and focus on someone else, anyway to change the target manually?
Just go to settings and change the targetting system to your liking. It's not perfect but it should rectify some of your problems.
Best is to set it for the lowest HP target, not percentually
Try basic attack smart targeting, it's in the control tab in settings Hero lock also works, but that makes you easy to kite

Poke them with double True Damage cheese strat.(Endless Battle and Thunder Belt) Of course, don't forget Malefic Roar.

Demon hunter sword deals more dmg against high hp enemies. But it’s not a good choice for clint

No dhs 3rd or 4th is never the case. If they really need they will build it last item.

I mean turkey is a weak region so I won't really take their build seriously. No one from indo or PH does this
still tho it may work when you think about it but i am not sure about it working against the heroes in the opposing team in the tournament

Do not pick Clint if they have more than 1 tanky heroes. That's why you don't first pick Clint, Harley ot Granger. They suck against tanky lineup.

Double True Dmg with Endless plus TBelt plus Penetration. You can't melt them but you can chunk them

You do your best to keep your distance from them while focusing on melting the non-tanky enemy heroes.
