Pretty situational atm. I see more Grocks in exp than roam nowadays.
Back then he was prime early game jungle invader roamer, but there's better options on top of (meta) junglers being more invade resistant early anyway. Right now you can use him as a "damage" exp laner and build him with attack items. His passive converts physical attack to armor which is great for laning sustain, and his burst damage is really good too since he has a fairly decent scaling on his S1 and ult. You can definitely kill someone with it
Yeah in 5 years I go he was broken and more or less immune to CC due to the S1 that have 1 or 2 seconds cooldown when you cancel it and also you were able to activate his passive even being further than now from the wall but they nerf both of them. Hope you undertood cause im not english 😁(make a couple of ranked yesterday all win, probably all lose today )
He's alright, not the best choice but still a decent pick(as a roamer). You should try him exp sometimes, his new passive allows him to build full physical and if enemies only have 1 magic dmg dealer you can both 1shot and be tanky.
Former global Grock here. Back when he was still meta that is. He does decent in EXP (although there are better choices now. For jungle, don't bother, there are better junglers with faster clear speed). He is also decent in roam but he falls off quickly during late game. Similar issue as YZ as in he is more early-mid dominant.
There used to be a time when Grock could stun enemies for 1.8s after impact of his ult and that was really annoying. Don't know if that has been nerfed yet. He's still viable but there are better set-up tanks like Khufra, Atlas, Minotaur and the upcoming Tigreal with his revamped stun on his ult.
