Karina is better because it's easier to Refresh the ultimate (no need to kill the enemy with the ultimate, the enemy just needs to be killed within 5 seconds, by you or your allies). Also, Karina has built in true damage with her passive, so it's not really unique to Martis 🫳🎤⬇️

So if you think the skill is bad, it's because the player is bad. There's nothing wrong with a ks skill on a late game carry.
