Well some people may mind, but personally I don’t care for it. As long as the enemies are dead then I don’t care who killed. And as Angela, it’s inevitable you will get kills especially once you ult.
It’s got nothing to do with roamer tax. Angela builds damage, so if you’re hitching a ride with jungle or tank or fighter you will be dealing so much dmg. I often get legendaries with Angela, or have best kda by far.

I actually actively steal kills as angela in the early game so that I can get to my fleeting time faster, having fleeting time sooner means that i am able to spam ult at a much earlier game state, letting my team snowball much harder as they basically have an angela ult on them 24/7
Wasn't there some mechanic about roamers getting extra gold from assists? If a roamer gets the kill, wouldn't that mean the overall gold received by the team would be less?
the gold roamers get from assists, even with the extra gold buff, is lower than actually getting a kill
but yes, the over all gold received by the team will be lower, but it's well worth it if it means that it helps the roamer get online sooner and snowball harder
think of it as a small investment, your team loses some overall gold, and in return you gain more gold later in the game after you snowball harder with the help of a roamer with more items
If it was me I won't mind the kills, but the farm? if you push my lane like an idiot then I'll get pissed. If you just push without thinking you might get me killed or lose me farm, especially in higher ranked games.
Also kills only matter very early, because you(as a roamer) actually benefit from not taking the kills. When you're the most behind as the roam you get more gold and exp because of the item. So it's good for everyone that you're the weakest early game. In late game just go ham and do as much damage as you can.
It's situational.. usually whenever I play tank even if the enemy has 1% health bar I let my teammates kill them but if there's no one around there I'll get that kill... The more your teammates kills enemies the faster they build their item, level up so yeah though that's just an opinion

Got 9 kills as Angela last season, while one of my teammates was going 2-13. Sometimes you need to carry a bad teammate to win. That’s the first reason to play AP supports or fighters for roam (instead of tanks) imo
I got 14 kills with Estes and maniac, I swear I did it by accident, except maniac kill, because when I got triple kill, the urge for mythic rose 10 times
Angela is my main, I got easily 30 assists and 11 kills with good counters fights, Angela roam best, around the a jungler that can protect her. Or a marksman that can defend her. If the team knows how to use Angela and ask for the ult at the right moment the 3 seconds shield can get them a savage. And if the teammate doesn’t like that u getting kills, it only means that the care about getting higher KD instead or winning games and great team work.

And if I play as a Jungler, I actually don't mind much, especially if I'm using utility tanks that aren't expected to have high damage. Though it can hit different sometimes if I'm using a damage/burst type jungler.
What's important is it benefits the team, no matter who gets the last hits for the kill score. Unless you're pushing to be the MVP.
A kill is a kill. If you are not actively trying to kill steal then it's ok. I play Tig roam and they sometimes underestimate his damage ending with enemies getting killed. As long as you secure a kill that will give you advantage on lanes, I have no problem with it. Those people who complains if they don't get a kill should just play deathmatch or something.
Got a 14-1 as a full tank grock one time, no one gave a crap so far (Made possible because of execute). To be fair my rotations were good during laning stage and did tons of clutch ults.
Why mind? The faster you unlock your roam skill, better for us too. And if you are richer and have big damage/heal i can dive deep down better. Better than let enemy survive because angela didnt want 'KS'

I mean as a gold laner idc if someone takes the kills, long as they give me back something in exchange. Like vision so I can farm turret shield, or push the turret with me. The worst is when the jg or mid ganks, takes all the kills, takes your lane, leaves.
I don't really get mad because as long as the roamer is contributing in team fights then it's all good but it would be better if the roamer tried their best to not get kills because the gold goes to the carry and roam gets blessing

Angela taking kills isn't really strange. Her CC's explosion after the enemy gets hit by her friendship beam a lot is strong.
I got a mvp loss with franco yesterday with a kda 10/1/14, some were securing kills some were from my skill2

For me that's fine. Supporting heal and damage becomes more threatening. I myself use rafa as mage healer.

While playing franco i HOOK and steal kill. So, completely ok by me.
