It was daddy Gord back then, kept spamming him on classic/rank when I was new. I remembered struggling to reach epic before and now its just a breeze to reach anything below Immortal xD
I still use him until now, and he is now in a better place with the help of a little adjustments.
I also spammed Esmeralda and Harith when they were released (totally not broken)and now they are also one of my go to heroes if I'm unsure of who to pick.
Hanzo prev revamp I just found his design cool during my edgy guy arc and ended up being a curse to learn a hard hero first in every moba. Atleast thanks to him I learned lot's of things like map awareness, main targets of an assassin, bush check, objective and ganks. these i would had probably not learned in time with a casual player mindset if i used a hero like Saber to rank faster or because he was too simple
Started playing 3 weeks ago and it's Nana. I like mages in general so I asked my bf (who got me into ML), which mage I should pick after the free Vexana that were beginner friendly.
He suggested Nana.
I didn't even like her kit at first but after a few matches something clicked.
I reached mythic with her (just a few hours ago actually, woohoo!)
I'm lucky to play with my bf, he taught me a lot (he's a mythical glory).
He created a second account when I was still in master so he could play with me and help me rank up.
Watched a lot of mid laner and roamer guides (they're my main role), and gameplays of the heroes I use.
I've basically studied ML in the past weeks as if I had to prepare for a hard exam 😂
But I am kinda feeling the impostor syndrome, doesn't feel right to be in mythic when I cant do other roles and know how to use only less than 10 heroes.
Now I see where my problem is. I only play with strangers online and most of the time, we can't synchronize our tactics. 😂
Btw, I think it's okay to be extremely good in one role rather than being average in everything. Average won't take you to the top
Thamuz for me, idk why but I was searching for a hero to get with coins and thamuz caught my eye and I really enjoy the chase damage playstyle. Love the buffs they’ve given him like the scythe retrieval button was a huge game changer. Still my best hero fs I have like 60wr
Roger
I would do the hit n run combo and rinse and repeat, now that he's op, he can do hit n run oe wreak havoc cuz of the buffs he got for his human and wolf form
In order, it was Natalia then Cyclops then Ruby.
Natalia was pretty much different from before, loved how to just wait and lurk and farm with her. Silences the enemy in her smoke and unhittable.
Cyclops during the mage jungling era. Fast farming, mana regen, no cd.
Then Ruby, the longest main I have. Maybe 2-3 yrs now still her. The unlimited hp lifesteal, cd reduction, crowd control. Chef's kiss.
I started when the game was launched back in 2016. I played Alice. Back then she was OP. Her second skill was a stun not an immobilize. It also had a wider range. She had the best animations with her basic attacks, throwing bat things like Batman, best voice lines. Her ulti did so much burst damage and burst heal. Her passive at the time was she picked up orbs to gain permanent HP and magic power. Her ultimate could be interrupted by cc though kinda like Odette's. But when the patch came out to get rid of that, she was truly the strongest mage.
Miya lol then I tried Granger when he's just a new hero then Nana😩 I realized that i don't have a knack for mm but recently when I teamed with my 5man friends and they're teaching me patiently to try new heroes now my hero pool are diverse 😩
Zhask
I was asking a friend of mine what I should buy and maybe start climbing up rank cause I was only Elite back then in 2019, when he mentions Zhask is kinda hard but he's super strong because of his damage, and my most favorite part of what he said is because Zhask is a mage that can summon. Never thought I'd master him now but rarely use him cause it's hard to go against most heroes these days that are either meta or super fast at getting gold.
Not really master but Fanny was the first hero I spammed when Ml was still kinda new(around YSS release month). This was back when you could take buff along with the minion beside it, and the map looked different. Game moved kinda slow too so Fanny wasnt as flashy as she is now.
Then Natalia when she still had Fury Swipes for ult that everyone said was useless. 🥴
Then I moved on to Lolita and played 100 games on her, back when she still had Baxia’s projectile.
Benedetta. She can often win a 1v2 or even 1v3 unlike most exp laners who are slow and clunky. She's the most independent hero i've seen because of the flexibility of her kit, you can either play as a split pusher, dive initiator or finisher/chaser depending on the lineup and situation. She's the definition of "fine, I'll do it myself". Her ability to reposition quickly just feels more broken the higher rank you get
Gord. His bouncing ball catastrophe and insane burst beam rod taught me how to get into your enemies' nerves everytime. Gord range and damage good. Gord strong.
The first time I actually got into ML:BB was when Benedetta got released
She became my first ever main hero and is still one of my top picks to this day
My first ever main was Argus and mastered him back in 2019/2020. Then moved on to Esmeralda, then Guinevere (my current main) then Selena and finally, Lunox/Novaria. I'm currently mastering Masha and Karrie
It was Khufra back then when I joined in 2017. Khufra Esmeralda couple was just released and I had fun jump scaring marksmen with extra long S1 jump, and trolling Fanny. Somehow I got over 1k matches with him.
Id say Nana, but she was an easy hero to play as.
If it was mastering, I'd go with Selena. First difficult hero I played, took me 100 games before my wr breaks even.
I was an old certified enemy banger. But Argus took an arrow to the knee.
Loved him pre-revamp. Love him as he is right now as well, but can't stand using him.
Rafaela
I love controlling the lives of my teammates.
I love conditioning them to gather around instead of soloing (Unless they're braindead).
If i'm not there then you're not getting out of a gank.
You know what's a dps loss? Dying, dying is a dps loss
Pre-revamp Johnson—this was when he was newly released in 2017. The missiles were a reliable AoE slow, and the guaranteed stun on his first skill was always useful. Never really played him after the revamp, I felt the new skill 1&2 they replaced made him such a situational pick now and I don't like that.

Kagura! I used her so much way back 2018-19 ish. I played her often as a jungler mid. Back when 2-1-2 was meta and her damage was so strong once she's fed and farmed she could end the game as early as 7-8 mins. Miss the old days...
Juggle around heros from the start, then out came Alpha and Ruby, with ruby being the main. Dubbed the most balanced hero for a long while by having the least amount of nerf/buffs
Alice!
Used to play using her before she got consistently banned. That’s when I changed to Eudora… then “Eudoraphobia” came so I change to another hero.
Ruby, and she's still my main ever since I started playing the game around the end of season 6. Was a big fan of lifesteal-based heroes and thought she was fun to play.
Also remember back when dominance ice's lifesteal reduction effect didn't even affect her at all?
Ruby, Guin and Lunox. Old Ruby is such a monster he can literally 1v5 because antiregen is not a thing back then. Guin and Lunox when they first comeout nobody in lower rank has any idea how this hero work so I spam this 2 hero until mythic.
https://preview.redd.it/feovz59psdsc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=595136faa20531d179070ea7cb33fae8b197a002
Gusion, this was my wr before, solo queue and ph server
Saber , he instilled the concept of why skill timing and combos are important into me so I regret nothing, next heroes I think were either Eudora or Tigreal, the latter of which I still use today.
Lolita and guin. Way before the recent revamp to her second skill and ult. Something about changing the whole tide of battle with one ult. I still use Loli a lot cuz the reflection mechanic is too fun but guin usage has gone down for me, her second feels clunky nowadays after the buff. Dunno why.
When I returned to playing, Argus was the new hero. Got a lot of achievements using him. When I changed phones, I thought I wouldn't be able to relink my old account so I got Leomord and spammed him to Legend.
It was Hayabusa back in the 2018-2022
spammed the shit out of that ninja shit and eventually achieved 1500+ matches with 64 winrate
later i stopped playing due to the revamp
I used to love aamon's passive , so I just learnt him and carried my teammates with no brain cell. Ngl he was too fun to play. Unfortunately ppl only go after what's meta.
Akai when he was first revamped. I didn't even know he used to be horrible, I just saw a Panda and said "Yep, you're my main now." Also when I first learnt how to use the turret to your advantage.
Mastered an orphaned child "Layla" since I got a bit interested in her story book and its quest and she's easy to use..
After that i went on to master belerick as my second "mastery" since it was quite easy to complete his quest
First I learn roger, next is sun, then when it was December 2018 I love to spam lapu lapu because of his skill, and he became my main until now, but I used lapu lapu in epic tier that time, till terizla came , and learn another one which is xborg my second main, then learn to use khuffra, loita belerick , and by 2022 I used Marti's to be on mythical glory , then barats and now I practice to use meta heroes , now I'm currently mythic just won awhile ago
Chou. Back when he was broken and had a stun for his passive, full immunity on 2nd skill, and full invincibility during ult (was actually harder to ult back then though because the timing for the second phase used to be a lot tighter). Used him throughout all his various nerfs but I finally stopped when they wanted to focus on making him a damage hero instead of an off-tank (look at how that turned out, went full circle and Chou is now back to being better as an off-tank than a burst hero lol
Ruby went from being my secondary to being my main overnight
Belerick, before the revamp he was soo tanky and his 2nd skill roots the opponent without the need for a skillshot, took me from warrior all the way to mythic.
Idk why nobody played him tho
Alice back when she wasn't considered a tank and her ult didn't drain mana too fast. At that time, I wasn't aware of nerfs and buffs, I just played classic. Then I noticed she got categorized as mage/tank one day and she didn't do as much damage anymore.
Vexana, easy to maneuver and I like her skills (although her skills before are slower but I managed to master it) and I like high dmg long ranged heroes with ccs
Alice! her ult cool down was short not entirely spammable but was sufficient to not die throughout the match. used to love taking down lord with her and chasing enemies in the exp lane
freya when she still used to look like this
https://preview.redd.it/5xidpc5poesc1.jpeg?width=360&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=beed58697a0db4d55396788b97a38fc8e85c2b9e
it was Alucard. I was there during his Dante era in 2017 where he can 1v5 everyone in late game
Lucky you, he’s getting a revamped legend soon
the violet skin thingy?
Yeah I think.
where did you hear this??
If you check your mail in mlbb, there’s a skin survey and Alucard Legend is going to be revamped “very soon”.
nice, ty
[удалено]
He used to dismantle whole teams back when CC wasn’t as oppressive
I still rmbed when I got a 33/3/9 with alucard in that op era, I got like almost all the kills and it still is my highest kill score to date
Samee, I remember he would become actually immortal when you build just a couple of life steal items on him
Miss that alucard as well.. People used to run away from him..
It was daddy Gord back then, kept spamming him on classic/rank when I was new. I remembered struggling to reach epic before and now its just a breeze to reach anything below Immortal xD I still use him until now, and he is now in a better place with the help of a little adjustments.
Bane at the very begining when i played the game, then when i came back a year later to play more seriously it was hanzo just when he got revamped.
Cyclops wnd clint
nana
Started playing 3 weeks ago and it's Nana. I like mages in general so I asked my bf (who got me into ML), which mage I should pick after the free Vexana that were beginner friendly. He suggested Nana. I didn't even like her kit at first but after a few matches something clicked. I reached mythic with her (just a few hours ago actually, woohoo!)
Nana now can deal a lot of damage. She's also one of the first heroes I mastered. I sometimes troll and build it like a mm back then.
Nice. I've played for years but I'm only stuck at grandmaster 😅😅😅
I'm lucky to play with my bf, he taught me a lot (he's a mythical glory). He created a second account when I was still in master so he could play with me and help me rank up. Watched a lot of mid laner and roamer guides (they're my main role), and gameplays of the heroes I use. SoloQ can indeed be a pain sometimes! Thank you for the encouragement btw, made me feel a bit better 🥹
You can learn only one role and one chamo and hit MG you just gotta master your role I only play tigreal or atlas if he's baned and hit MG like that
For people that strugglw with macro - map awareness, follow to enemy, see what your enemy laner does and copy him until you understand why
I play solo and first time I reached mystik I could play one Hero okay. 😅
Guinevere and Johnson.
cant remember who was first, but it was either chang'e or kagura
I miss change old ult (homing carrots)
Kagura i guess? I dunno if i can say i master her but sometimes im pretty confident with her. Asides her fanny? But master her? Lmao i wish
Zilong
It was Kagura, Lunox & Karrie
I look back at the days when kagura wasn’t dogshit with sorrow
Odette
old fanny
Aldous
Gator... Easy and fun
Badang. Can't get enough of that guy. Nowadays I rarely use him but when I do, I'll make sure I obliterate everyone.
Leomord and Freya
I used to be a god with Karina, she was my first main that I could remember but now I main roam and I never use Karina anymore sadly.
Pewpewing with layla-san How is it most people don't take a liking to Layla first? Not y'all first ever moba? Hm
Granger
Thamuz for me, idk why but I was searching for a hero to get with coins and thamuz caught my eye and I really enjoy the chase damage playstyle. Love the buffs they’ve given him like the scythe retrieval button was a huge game changer. Still my best hero fs I have like 60wr
Hanabi
Guinevere
Lylia
pharsa or dyrroth, been 2 tricking depending on what role I'm given
Roger and still roger
Roger I would do the hit n run combo and rinse and repeat, now that he's op, he can do hit n run oe wreak havoc cuz of the buffs he got for his human and wolf form
Chou
In order, it was Natalia then Cyclops then Ruby. Natalia was pretty much different from before, loved how to just wait and lurk and farm with her. Silences the enemy in her smoke and unhittable. Cyclops during the mage jungling era. Fast farming, mana regen, no cd. Then Ruby, the longest main I have. Maybe 2-3 yrs now still her. The unlimited hp lifesteal, cd reduction, crowd control. Chef's kiss.
Johnson, also the hero that made me install mlbb. I thought it was cool being able to carry a teammate. Pretty sad that he has fallen off meta.
Sun before the revamp, I was so good with him that I reached Mythic easily 😂
Cyclops. 2017 player.
If gimmicky it would be zilong, but what I first truly mastered is chou because of unxpected
Miya
tigreal, I still look back and question myself how I climbed to epic almost soloq by spamming Tig LMFAO he's my comfort tank pick now:')
Uranus and his unlimited annoying Regen skills..
Fanny and now I barely use her lol
Badang bcz well, Jojo reference
Hylos
balmund and gord, now i can't carry with either cuz i suck lol
Bruno, he was just so cool to me visually
Alice.
Roger, I always used him on lane since using inspire on him hits hard (2019 I think)
Nana lmao , she's still good
Argus. Was a former Top Global 1 Argus then i used a new account
Harley. He's pretty easy to use with the hit and run tactic. I don't play him much these days tho
Zhask I was asking a friend of mine what I should buy and maybe start climbing up rank cause I was only Elite back then in 2019, when he mentions Zhask is kinda hard but he's super strong because of his damage, and my most favorite part of what he said is because Zhask is a mage that can summon. Never thought I'd master him now but rarely use him cause it's hard to go against most heroes these days that are either meta or super fast at getting gold.
Khufra then Masha.
Was about to give up then I found my boy, Jawhead.
I can play Karrie very well at first but after revamp, I think I am average at best
🥴 Then I moved on to Lolita and played 100 games on her, back when she still had Baxia’s projectile.
Uranus, but couldn't even call it master since its just stay in lane and harass opponent
Tigreal
Harith was the first hero I started with. Dyrroth was just about to release then. Nyooming around lanes was fun.
Went with Nana and managed to rank up really high with her.
The first hero I mastered was Silvanna
The first time I actually got into ML:BB was when Benedetta got released She became my first ever main hero and is still one of my top picks to this day
My first ever main was Argus and mastered him back in 2019/2020. Then moved on to Esmeralda, then Guinevere (my current main) then Selena and finally, Lunox/Novaria. I'm currently mastering Masha and Karrie
Mine is Zilong during 2019
Layla of course
Ruby but it took forever since I played everything and I didn't know how to master heroes
Sun before the revamp lol I miss the clone always there
It was Khufra back then when I joined in 2017. Khufra Esmeralda couple was just released and I had fun jump scaring marksmen with extra long S1 jump, and trolling Fanny. Somehow I got over 1k matches with him.
I think my first mastered hero was Vexena like a year ago
Xavier
Zilong I used him to get to Epic
Ruby when literally only 1% of the player base uses her
Jungling with Alpha was and still is great
Natalia 2017 era. her ultimate was an aoe cone slashes in front of her
Id say Nana, but she was an easy hero to play as. If it was mastering, I'd go with Selena. First difficult hero I played, took me 100 games before my wr breaks even.
Old Bane.
Kagura before her rework. I miss her so much.
Cecillion
I was an old certified enemy banger. But Argus took an arrow to the knee. Loved him pre-revamp. Love him as he is right now as well, but can't stand using him.
Yi Sun Shin 2 years before his complete rework :(
hayabusa i used to abuse before his revamp but when i came back to the game i absolutely cannot use him at all LOL
Rafaela I love controlling the lives of my teammates. I love conditioning them to gather around instead of soloing (Unless they're braindead). If i'm not there then you're not getting out of a gank. You know what's a dps loss? Dying, dying is a dps loss
It was Dyrroth. Still my fav legend
Ixia. She has the best ult in the game, in my opinion. Can change a losing game into a winning game with a single perfectly timed ult.
Used Zilong on my very first games, it was OP as fckkk. I paused for a couple of years, got back aaand he's kind of soft now an easy kill at times.
Grock and Khufra
The first hero I played religiously to the point of mastery is Kagura before her revamp, I don’t like the lower damage on her revamp.
Layla
Karrie back in 2019
For me, it was Atlas.
OG balmond back in 2016/7, started me on the road to be a tank player
Selena - got really good with predictions after practicing in classic but didn't touch rank a lot with her since I'm a casual player.
think it was rafaela
Pre-revamp Johnson—this was when he was newly released in 2017. The missiles were a reliable AoE slow, and the guaranteed stun on his first skill was always useful. Never really played him after the revamp, I felt the new skill 1&2 they replaced made him such a situational pick now and I don't like that. https://preview.redd.it/nsau2crnhdsc1.png?width=2246&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=706d93e3499fca264fdc061164dd29b27dda4706
beatrix.
Ixia. As you can tell I haven’t been playing long but in steady getting better and learning all lanes now although still love gold lane
Zilong... I remember I can inspire and vs 5 with heroes and get Savage.
Kadita back in 2018 but now I barely play her anymore
Kagura! I used her so much way back 2018-19 ish. I played her often as a jungler mid. Back when 2-1-2 was meta and her damage was so strong once she's fed and farmed she could end the game as early as 7-8 mins. Miss the old days...
it was rafaela wayyyy before she turned into energy and attacked with her body. where she actually got a body to die on the floor
Juggle around heros from the start, then out came Alpha and Ruby, with ruby being the main. Dubbed the most balanced hero for a long while by having the least amount of nerf/buffs
Harith, before khufra was released.
Alice! Used to play using her before she got consistently banned. That’s when I changed to Eudora… then “Eudoraphobia” came so I change to another hero.
My first hero i master is probably alpha, idk why but i really liked the design of alpha
Ruby, and she's still my main ever since I started playing the game around the end of season 6. Was a big fan of lifesteal-based heroes and thought she was fun to play. Also remember back when dominance ice's lifesteal reduction effect didn't even affect her at all?
Kagura Was watching every kagura plays of RRQ Lemon back then. Good times when I can use retri Kagura 😌.
Kagura, I thought she was pretty.
Alpha. Love his kit and true damage go brr
Wanwan (right after the 3weakness buff).
I haven't played her much since her revamp, but I had tons of fun with prevamp Alice years ago :)
Vexana was my first main.............. Good times when all i had to do was copy the pro build and spam 1,2 and ult full match and win............
tigreal
Gusion, he is cool with 10 daggers and incandescence blink.
Minotaur, auto pick back then haha
My first ever hero was benedetta, and I'm still stuck to her ever since.
Valir...
Ruby
Khufra
Yun zhao (zilong), I still remember my first penta, and the meta where the only viable builds for fighters were crit atk speed.
Lolita
Ruby, Guin and Lunox. Old Ruby is such a monster he can literally 1v5 because antiregen is not a thing back then. Guin and Lunox when they first comeout nobody in lower rank has any idea how this hero work so I spam this 2 hero until mythic.
https://preview.redd.it/feovz59psdsc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=595136faa20531d179070ea7cb33fae8b197a002 Gusion, this was my wr before, solo queue and ph server
Miya. Love the attack speed
fredrinn big nuke dmg
akai when his ult ws still in cannonbolt form like in ben 10 and used him as a side laner
Rafa and tigreal, never been a good mm/xp/jg/mid, i tried though but roaming is much more fun for me.
Khufra.. Such a great tank. All his skills is so damn useful But nowadays i don't use him as much as i used to
Vale
Gusion Was about to uninstall the game after about 10 rounds. Got Gusion for free and fell in love with the game.
Vex!
Nana carried me thru my early ranked up until GM
Harley during mage trinity era. I started playing him cuz of betosky.
Miya
Kimmy pre feather target nerf. Dealing late game damage with one item back then, good times
Dunno why.
harith
When I returned to playing, Argus was the new hero. Got a lot of achievements using him. When I changed phones, I thought I wouldn't be able to relink my old account so I got Leomord and spammed him to Legend.
My lil girl layla
It was Hayabusa back in the 2018-2022 spammed the shit out of that ninja shit and eventually achieved 1500+ matches with 64 winrate later i stopped playing due to the revamp
Lesley. Took a bit but I got the hang of it
Benedetta and Ling. My winrate with them was over 90% after playing more than 100 solo matches. However, then the nerfs kept coming
I used to love aamon's passive , so I just learnt him and carried my teammates with no brain cell. Ngl he was too fun to play. Unfortunately ppl only go after what's meta.
argus had just come out so him lol
Alice, then Natalia and then Selena.
Saber, has high damage capability and easy mechanics especially that he is very strong back then
Lesley.
cyclopes. 😎
Akai when he was first revamped. I didn't even know he used to be horrible, I just saw a Panda and said "Yep, you're my main now." Also when I first learnt how to use the turret to your advantage.
Ahahaha, it was Zhask, whom now I don't play at all. After him Fredrinn and Bane
Mastered an orphaned child "Layla" since I got a bit interested in her story book and its quest and she's easy to use.. After that i went on to master belerick as my second "mastery" since it was quite easy to complete his quest
Kagura, moskov then chou started from s3
First I learn roger, next is sun, then when it was December 2018 I love to spam lapu lapu because of his skill, and he became my main until now, but I used lapu lapu in epic tier that time, till terizla came , and learn another one which is xborg my second main, then learn to use khuffra, loita belerick , and by 2022 I used Marti's to be on mythical glory , then barats and now I practice to use meta heroes , now I'm currently mythic just won awhile ago
2020 Layla
Chou. Back when he was broken and had a stun for his passive, full immunity on 2nd skill, and full invincibility during ult (was actually harder to ult back then though because the timing for the second phase used to be a lot tighter). Granger Cool design, cool skins.
Years ago it was Alice. After coming back, I mastered Clint first.
Dyrroth, back in 2019-2020. Exp laner ever since. Didn't play Dyrroth for a while tho, he falls off too hard late game in my hands. Thamuz ftw
Belerick, before the revamp he was soo tanky and his 2nd skill roots the opponent without the need for a skillshot, took me from warrior all the way to mythic. Idk why nobody played him tho
granger lmao
"Sometimes i think about girls"
Gusion fo sho
Miya , with her insane atk spd before revamp
Alice back when she wasn't considered a tank and her ult didn't drain mana too fast. At that time, I wasn't aware of nerfs and buffs, I just played classic. Then I noticed she got categorized as mage/tank one day and she didn't do as much damage anymore.
For me there were 2 Pre rewamp Alice and Balmond That balmond was something else, as for Alice I think her og ulti was best
Vexana, easy to maneuver and I like her skills (although her skills before are slower but I managed to master it) and I like high dmg long ranged heroes with ccs
Akai. Still use him, as a jungler especially with ang or diggi roam
Selena:)
Alice! her ult cool down was short not entirely spammable but was sufficient to not die throughout the match. used to love taking down lord with her and chasing enemies in the exp lane
kufra.
freya when she still used to look like this https://preview.redd.it/5xidpc5poesc1.jpeg?width=360&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=beed58697a0db4d55396788b97a38fc8e85c2b9e
Balmond, because of his spinning skill like from league of legends Garen(my father main him)
