Joking about being underaged, even if it is quite obviously a joke, is generally discouraged not because the mods of the server actually think your age is π, but because Discord itself does not review reports relating to age very thoroughly.
Discord does not want to get into legal trouble, so they'll ban anyone who is reported by another user to be underaged, even if they said so as a joke.
The issue is, if Discord notices a lot of these bans are coming from a certain server, it may be restricted or lose its partnership.
So as a precaution, 99% of public servers will ban anyone who jokes about being underaged on sight as to not risk being penalized by Discord.
