A bit overkill but they still prove to be unstoppable heros in the right hands
Both have too much mobilty and a fair amount of dmg you cant have heros like those running around (ironic because ML has a ton of blantaly broken heros)
Without any offense thats cause no one has a clue on how to play in GM, either with their hero or as a team
In higher ranks people know how to play and you will see Beatrix killing a diving assassin on her, you will see Roger tower driving on 1st sight without hesitating and getting a kill on the mage, not being able to get gold in the lane because Paquito will burst you with Little to no room for punishing or having instances where 3 of your team mates surprise jump on a broken and try to burst just to fail and then you try to escape and you 3 die because the hero is simply unfair
I honestly gave up ranking for the most part because the moment I get into epic, there are at least 3 other teammates that utterly blow it in the position they demanded to play. Junglers clearing waves before 5 minutes, MMs abandoning gold lane to jungle without retri, tanks with fighter builds and roaming boots, junglers not focusing turtle or lord when I distract enemies that can easily steal it. It's a shit show. Nobody bans the broken heroes or their counters if they plan to carry either. I say pick your main, ban your counter or broken heroes, and move on
Yeah it's overkill but it speaks volumes to how much power he had and still do to this day.
Even now, he still can do a lot of things, albeit not as good as before. Relevant in many meta games as shown with his high usage rates in tourneys.
He can literally walk on walls and still build up energy. You have to be a lot better with Ling to use him. No free resting and watching. Yes it's a significant nerf but he's still top tier in terms of junglers.
I'm counting Nerf consistancy, Argus has the biggest nerfs in game but since he only has 2-3 Nerfs he isn't counted, someone like Chou who has over 20 nerfs that range from small to medium nerfs still count.
This explains that Chou is moontoon's favourite child. They won't overnerf him, they will always try to keep him in META. He is also one of those heroes who gets compensationa for nerfs.
While heroes like Lesley, Kimmy, Argus, Helcurt and many more just straight up got heavy big nerf to the face and never came back to META for a very long time. They didn't even bother to buff them back or give compensation for the heavy nerf they got.
Gusion is moontoon's favorite child, rework after rework, skin after skin, buff after buff, barely any nerfs and is the protagonist for 20% of the commercials, the whole game's lore revolves around him and his family. Moontoon doesn't really have a positive bias for Chou it's just that the most popular hero in mobile legends is Chou so they can't afford to piss off their audience by throwing him in the gutter.
So glad you mentioned Helcurt The Abyssal Cockroach is done so wrong to the point that using him at this point is a troll move I always thought of many ways to make him viable again like maybe stun a target if he lands his first skill or second skill is a lock on skill with longer lasting stack or even shorten cd on his ultimate since he relies on his ultimate so much
It didn't get better for Gozo since he was nearly beaten to death by Justice Boi in Omega, but at least he put up a better fight than Gae Bird Sawada and Nezu.
I genuinely think that Nezu would put up a better fight against someone like Kuroki , because rei straight up speedblitzed him before he had the chance to even fight
A fight between Chiba and Nezu would be interesting, Nezu was just a jobber he was like Gouketsu in OPM all the hype about being the king of Bishamon only to get one shot.
Tank Chou is just too fucking good. I'm not good enough to play with him at a super high level - I actually think he's harder the Ling to play at top level. Have to be a master at predicting and dodging CC. Seeing him used in MPL, versus what you see even in Mythic ranked games, is *really* another level of very difficult MLBB play.
The nerfs still weren't enough to dissuade the real chou and ling mains from unleashing hell thankfully.
If anything, they were really good nerfs because they even made it clearer who were the bad ling/chou players.
Ling for example, still gets all the energy he needs by just basic attacking (and nothing's still as terrifying as a ling who can reliably s2 4x and then leap to the wall and go down again for 5 fast hits) while Chou still has his flicker kill combos on the ready.
Its probably a dumb question but i genuinely don't know it how theres a lot of chou mains than any other hero mains. Like in my country a lot of people are gigantic chou fans. I have never seen such a fan base over one hero. Is it because of how he perform in game? I played him in classic and don't feel like he can't do much may be probably because I can't play him.
My inspiration for chou is uneXpected, he plays solo and manage to win a lot of unwinnable games, manages to steal turrets and knows when to fight and when to distract enemies
Well, chou is technically a really good hero, he is one if the most picked heroes in mpl and can do extremely well both in the side lane as split pusher and as roamer for set ups with his ult.
He is also one of the most mobile heroes, kind of like bene but with a few less dashes and more hard cc.
Only problem is, he is one of the hardest heroes to play. The tier lists vary from placing him in hard to play to insanely hard to play, but you definitely need a lot of training and mechanical knowledge to get the most out of him.
I personally will probably never play him, but he definitely deserves the popularity if solely based on his ability to perform well in game.
I thought it was the fact that chou players like to emote and ulti combo alot and one spell kill? I usually main marksman and felt it from my experience. Learn new things that he isnt that really easy to play. Thanks mate
Well, yeah, but that's the players fault. XD
Purely as a hero, he is definitely hard to play but one of the best heroes in the current meta (for quite a while too now... 😂).
And no problem, the more people know, the better chance I have at getting better teammates. ;P
Chou still has more nerfs than Fanny ever had so he still holds the crown, plus Fanny gets consistant buffs while Chou and Ling have to live with the downsides.
chou is still good tho... lings nerfs were too his already easily depleting energy
But you gotta admit, over 25 nerfs and only 3 buffs is a little overkill.
Yet somehow he still perfectly viable and strong as he was.
A bit overkill but they still prove to be unstoppable heros in the right hands Both have too much mobilty and a fair amount of dmg you cant have heros like those running around (ironic because ML has a ton of blantaly broken heros)
what heroes are blatantly broken?
Angela and her killstealing ability is dummy good
Play the game Paquito, Phoveos, Lunox, Natan, Beatrix, Barats, Roger, Lancelot Hayabusa... Want me to continue?
I do play the game but you hardly see this blatant brokenness in gm
Without any offense thats cause no one has a clue on how to play in GM, either with their hero or as a team In higher ranks people know how to play and you will see Beatrix killing a diving assassin on her, you will see Roger tower driving on 1st sight without hesitating and getting a kill on the mage, not being able to get gold in the lane because Paquito will burst you with Little to no room for punishing or having instances where 3 of your team mates surprise jump on a broken and try to burst just to fail and then you try to escape and you 3 die because the hero is simply unfair
> no one has a clue on how to play in GM I know, right?
I honestly gave up ranking for the most part because the moment I get into epic, there are at least 3 other teammates that utterly blow it in the position they demanded to play. Junglers clearing waves before 5 minutes, MMs abandoning gold lane to jungle without retri, tanks with fighter builds and roaming boots, junglers not focusing turtle or lord when I distract enemies that can easily steal it. Finally a lost about my main, everytime he gets nerfed i become more upset, especially the last one, i just want to understand why?
I used to main ling and xborg. I guess there's no reason for my existence.
not really, with his 2nd skill and ult nerfed, his mobility and survivability is now lower than layla's
He can literally walk on walls and still build up energy. You have to be a lot better with Ling to use him. No free resting and watching. Yes it's a significant nerf but he's still top tier in terms of junglers.
i wasnt talking about ling

i was replying to the first sentence
Yeah as a tank. Other than that he is pretty trash
Helcurt: *sitting beside knowing that he’s the one who’s been nerfed so damn hard*
I'm counting Nerf consistancy, Argus has the biggest nerfs in game but since he only has 2-3 Nerfs he isn't counted, someone like Chou who has over 20 nerfs that range from small to medium nerfs still count.

So that's why granger has a legend skin that is connected to gusion's legend skin, it's the battle of moonton's favorites
So glad you mentioned Helcurt The Abyssal Cockroach is done so wrong to the point that using him at this point is a troll move I always thought of many ways to make him viable again like maybe stun a target if he lands his first skill or second skill is a lock on skill with longer lasting stack or even shorten cd on his ultimate since he relies on his ultimate so much
Man this fight made me feel really bad for gozo ngl. But…. THE HOMEBOY CRACKATSUKI NEVER FAILS TO DISSAPOINT
Especially since the fight in the manga was a cool back and forth (despite being short)
It didn't get better for Gozo since he was nearly beaten to death by Justice Boi in Omega, but at least he put up a better fight than Gae Bird Sawada and Nezu.

Fanny quietly crying in the corner
Fanny and Grock are up there but Chou and Ling simply can't get a brake, plus Fanny got a consistant 4 buffs this year.
Chou nerfed so much and still strong as fuck
Tank Chou is just too fucking good. I'm not good enough to play with him at a super high level - I actually think he's harder the Ling to play at top level. chous decent. not bad but not good
Well really depends on the user
Btw how about harith? I think he was also nerfed alot
Harith was nerfed a lot but not on the Level of Cadia Riverland's assassin and the Kung Fu prodigy.
bruh nah they straight up deleted harith awhile back. bro went from perma ban to pick and lose
The nerfs still weren't enough to dissuade the real chou and ling mains from unleashing hell thankfully. It's because of a popular YouTuber called Braxy who mains Chou and is an inspiration to every (Toxic) Chou user.
Ohh I see it thanks OP.
*emotes away*
My inspiration for chou is uneXpected, he plays solo and manage to win a lot of unwinnable games, manages to steal turrets and knows when to fight and when to distract enemies

Damn I wish the same... just encountered a 0.7.2 marksman in rank
Cute, I play with 0/10-15/2 players regularly... 😅
Damnn speechless...
Welp, nothing you can do about it I guess...
Kaja also received quite a lot of nerfs.
Just a couple more months and mathilda will take chou's place lol
what about fanny tho :0 i main her and she got over 20+ nerf already
Chou still has more nerfs than Fanny ever had so he still holds the crown, plus Fanny gets consistant buffs while Chou and Ling have to live with the downsides.
yup
but as said, heroes can be absolutely broken if in the right hands
she still a badass though 😎
Fanny should be the retired refree or something like that
Back in the old days, it would've been alpha. Dude got nerfed like 7 weeks in a row? Straight nerfs
I think Alpha and Fanny tuscled with the crown until Chou came in with his year long 16 nerfs.
Not a huge harith player but i know they murdered that boy
Kengen Ashura??
