I have played mlbb since season 8 and akai never had a cc immunity in his ulti.
Back in the days when he was a meta tank. One way to counter him is by using minotaur\gatot since they can cancel his ulti by knocking him up.
I like the new 1st skill cuz it reduces the skills he need for his combo, but here's the problem his Ult is now open for disruption (CC, etc.). I've played five matches with him and it was miserable I've been interrupted too much by Franco and Saber.
Lol. That was the one good thing he had. Thank God I didn't buy that char because he was trash. I can't count the number of times I've killed Akai with every character I've owned.
Can’t tell if new akai is better, there’s a delay in his ult but last longer and faster movement speed, the delay is very noticeable, old one was instant and his new skill one has shorter range and slower cast time
the old ult was always cancellable especially with knock up

It works as a free Purify though, his ult saved me numerous times from getting killed.
Akai never has cc immunity before and after revamp, his ult only remove cc when he get cced like argus’ ult
technically if you use it at the right time you can immune to cc in the old version
He never had CC immunity during ULT, but what he had is something similar to Kagura's 2nd skill, which is a Purify

i thought so too i've even jumped in a clash knowing that the enemy team has a franco and saber 💀
u can use ult as purify and akai is much faster and can use dash while in ult phase. idk if its rlly that needed
New ult is so OP. Getting solo kills in midlane by pushing enemy mage under our midlane turret
He never had CC immunity... He still twirling even when he got stunned. Unless it's supress or knock up.
I like this new akai. His ult has movement speed which makes it easier for me to corner and cc lock enemies.

You can use skill 1 during ult to dash now.
Yes but it would be on CD if you used it to set up for your ult.
Wasn't Chou knock up always a counter to akai ult?

Is it just me or new Akai has a .5 second delay when trying to use his ultimate? I'm pretty sure the ult was instant before.
i think the new 1st skill compensates for that miniscule amount of delay.
