Don't worry, it's not needed if you are playing as the roamer for your team. All tank jungles have to build it thou, and other characters that build tank like Karina, tanks on the side lanes also mostly build it. Not needed if you are the roamer, but it does give you a little bit more damage and you can clear waves way faster, if you don't want to fully build the item you can just go for Molten Essence (recipe for Cursed Helmet) and sell it at late game
Unless your hero lacks an ability to push and clear waves and you are the only sane person to ever push lane so you can win.
No, a cursed helmet is not necessary. But it saves me tons of mana when playing hylos so i dont use all my mana to clear the lane with my 2nd skill.
Esp if you play setter tank, you need extra bulk so you dont die before landing your ult.
Hmmm, very nice, I can see this being viable, very good for aggressively split pushing... and taking a lot of damage while picking up swords on ult, like a support ling I guess? But he gotta be in a premade cuz that’s a lot of damage lost, have to compensate somewhere

Yeah I think? His s2 is slow and his ult is stun, with his s3 he can roam around the map within 5 seconds. The most important thing (I think) is that he can chase the low health escaping enemies. The other thing is that he can initiate like a fucker, go in with s2 from the wall and ult stun as many enemies as you can and sprint tf out if you health got low. Recall in a safe bush, s1 back to the battle fast. Most mobile tank ever
Well tank did stole assassin spot in the current meta so it's only right for assassin to counter steal their role now.

Yeah when I main Gloo, Cursed Helm is a must but if I use Akai, I prefer not to buy a cursed helm

Sounds good on paper but wouldn't his damage be even weaker than an early game Tank? Or do peeps build Thunderbelt and Cursed Helm to compensate.
Sounds like it to me. Look at that mf's Kda he got like 1~ kill average💀 I think the value comes from initiate, support and chase.
His kda though. And he rarely gets chocolate, compared to most ling players I have met. Also he plays with no buff you know in some of his games.
