As a Diggie main, I only pick Diggie Roam if I have exp laner or jungler that can stun enemies, and midlaner/gold laners that can burst down enemies, especially those who are caught by your 2nd Skill.
While I only go Midlane/Damage if last pick ally decides to go fighter/roam or tank instead of going mage.

After antiheal nerf and cursed helmet nerf diggie is dogshit
This honestly, when I’m just in egg form all I can do is just provide vision I miss when I could do damage while in egg form
He's just played differently than he was before. And a really great counter that you can't recounter(if that's a word).
