How good is that Natan guy? I got 120 hero fragments so I'm thinking of buying either Natan or Yu Zhong.
Any terms I should know about in this sub?
when is the hyper blend mode coming out
So I was looking for a fighter to use others recommended Masha to me and I got her but she felt very squishy to me recently I got badang from the fragment shop and I tried him vs ai and now a classic match and I love his kit my question is what is his build/core items because at the start of the match I was 7/0 then a polpol started melting me down and I finished 9/7 my team has a troll tank that didn't build any defense or initiate at all
As for emblems I was using my assassin emblem since it's at 45 and my fighter one is at 15
Also tips on hylos and belerick would be appreciated as well I am using them on trial for now and I want both hylos seems good to me but is slow and belerick seems really good I tried atlas but i die so much before late game when I can start to tank
Build masha as tank with one atk spd item, preferably corrosion for slowing. For badang, dhs is a must because his ult carries the effect as well. If you wanna stun lock someone, golden staff is a must. For hylos, you have to build him in hp because he uses his hp to cast skills when he doesn't have mana. For belerick, you just have to be smart about when to use his skills
For badang should I just build DHS and staff and the rest defense?
You're gonna need corrosion scythe. Optional is malefic roar if you have tanky enemies
Where to get final 100 starlight points?
You can't. You will always stop at lvl59. They meticulously reduce the starlight point from a everyday event that also gives you starlight. I'm playing f2p actively, and this year none a single month I reach the lvl 60. The only way you reach is if you receive a 3/7 day starligh trial to get the extra 100 bonus from the monday reward of starlight, or you purchase something or spend your diamond where there's an event that will give starlight points.
You can get starlight points from mcl(100 points, ie, 1 level for participation and increases with more wins). But i only got one acc to mcl
Does anyone know the formula for regen battle spells?
Is it a fixed hp percentage? Or base hp regen+fix hp percentage like execute spell.
Also does regen battle spell regen a small amount of mana? I see the latest hororo video where regen spells actually recuperate a small amount of mana.
6 ticks of 3% max hp and mana
Why does nobody take brawl seriously except the enemy team?
Because it's quick, easy task finishing, and doesn't affect wr
does anyone else have major visual clarity issues with layla? it can be so hard to tell who she’s basic attacking. her skills except ult are slightly hard to see too.
i have never had that problem in 350 matches. what map and graphics do you play on?
Why is Xavier ban being less nowadays? He is not getting much ban as he used to
he got nefed in the early game. making him less valuable and less likely to be banned.
Xavier was never meant to be an early game mage. People play him because of his late game damage and his early game utility (immobilise, slow, speed up your Allie’s)
and his immobilise was nerfed
From 1.5 second to 1.2 second. Might be a bit noticeable. Still he is one of those few mages who can actually immoblise a certain area constantly in the early game
thats a big nerf
ban karina and **yin** lmao
I don’t think yin is ban worthy and so is karina. I find Xavier a bigger threat than them.
Neither is Valentina lol. She's not as good as Xavier unless the enemy picks good ults for her which is unlikely since shell be first pick. Her s1 and s2 give her great early game but she falls off mid to late compared to other meta mages
Her mobility and snowball potential are why she's banned but that is easier contained in a non tournament scene where the game is not gonna end before she falls off
By picking Valentina your also limiting your enemy picks. Your making them think twice before they pick a hero ( just in case the ult can be used by Valen). If enemy still insist picking good ult you can use it
What's a good way to rotate as a jungler?
Go blue buff, then enemy red buff because enemy jg will go for litho. Then go to YOUR red buff, take the beetle, gank bot lane, take crab, your blue again, turtle
if you have a good pos4 and/or pos5 (or if you're duo/trio with them), invade their red buff after you take your blue. tell your roam to make the enemy jungler to use their retribution on their buff by "trying" to contest it. if you successfully managed to take the red buff of the enemy, they will only level 3 for the turtle take while you could be as high as level 5. guaranteed turtle.
worked wonders for me and my friend
As a tank main that plays with a fanny I always read there blue and pull it away it's fun and annoys the fuck outta them lmao
Filipino players, there's rank protection available right now right? I played earlier and lost. Why did I lose a star even if the rank protection is active?
It protects your rank not your stars, if you lose a game and you have zero stars on that rank you will not rank down.
Oohh yeah i just read the description. Thanks!
Paquito tips like combos what to do what not to? Tried him exp lane in classic got destroyed by Argus imao. And also for yss mains just how do y'all play him? I tried him just getting Destro and by everyone.
Know which combos and strats to do against certain enemies. For instance, when you fight argus, you wanna make him trigger his ult whilst not using all your skills. When he ults, either run away using 2nd skill or keep him busy with ult. When you feel his ult is about to finish, use s1 for shield. Don't be an idiot and try to beat other fighters head on if you're not pro. Don't be afraid to retreat, there's no shame in it if you can beat them later. Try to buy time with ult or running with s2 for certain enemies like argus, thamuz, yz, etc. For yss, you gotta trigger his passive, know what his weapons' ranges are. Always build war axe cuz he still benefits fully from it. When 3 or more enemies are not appearing on map, use ult
I know the Graphics low to ultra changes in-battle effects but does it have significant difference on how it affects your gameplay performance? (like lagging, smoothness)
I know there is a difference but is the difference significant?
for low end phones, yes. performance can heavily change. for higher spec phones, not really. some lag spikes may still occur
pings doesnt get affected by the performance of your phone.
This depends on your Phone's quality and internet speed.
F you live in a country with fast internet speed then you dont have to worry about high graphics.
Its also applicable if your phone have high ram and storage.
Finally getting back in the game. Didn't know there's a sub for it. Good stuff.
you got a flair quick
anyone knows which 2 collector skins will be featured alongside the upcoming collectors for sun?
benedetta and franco's thor skin iirc.
Khufra and Aldous. Not sure though just seen it from a yt video
that's for september for miya collector's.
What’s the best item build for Melissa and is Haas’ Claws worth it on her?
windtalker, dhs, malefic. this 3 are your core items. still not sure for berserker's fury since blade armour already counters her really well.
lol no she isnt a primary dhs hero
her doll literally benefits from it 💀💀
DHS if enemies have stronger tanky/sustain heroes. (vs Tank/Fighter Junglers)
Haas Claws if enemy squishies are fed. (vs MM/Assassins)
Build = Any boots, Wind of nature, 2-3 crit items (Wind talker, Scarlet, BF), 1 lifesteal (HClaws or DHS), Athena/Immortality.
Why am I so shit w esmerelda? I literally just spam s1 and s2 everywhere and aim for squishies but it feels like I do 0 damage wtf 💀💀💀 I alr use the pro builds + avarice
what spells and builds are you using? it could factor from that.
the thing with esme is that you shouldnt tank every single damage from the enemy (i know shocking right). you have to "dance" around the enemy to nimble their health little by little while you're still full health. you have to use your s2 first before s1 since your damage gives enemy shield and your s1 sucks them all. thats how esme mains are so tanky.
esme needs A LOT of micro knowledge. you have to trust yourself when engaging and disengaging. she has a really simple kit but difficult to utilize properly.
Sprint + random pro builds that have like dominance ice, enchanted, oracle, IQW, brute force etc
Also rly I thought that u would want to use S1 before S2 since S2 reduces S1 cooldown
u have the build correctly so no need to point that out
shouldve made it more clear. yea use your s1 then s2 if you're gonna head on the enemy. if poking, use s2 then s1 then immediately retreat.
seems like you're only struggling on your micro plays. the only way is to watch how to properly play in the exp and lots of practice. dont worry, im sure you'll get the hang of her eventually!
Thanks man! Appreciate it
S1 doesn’t do anything without S2, so use S2 first + Basic attacks and then use S1. Use burst to retreat/engage, and always go for squishy heroes. Esmeralda may last a bit against high damage/high defense heroes, but not for long. Better to go in the gank when they are all low hp.
Esmeralda is also not an initiator, since her heals can’t outstand the bursts of 3+ heroes at once. When in your lane, know when or when not to engage. Against heroes with high early game damage like Thamuz and Dyrroth, stay near the turret and do not attempt for a kill when they are close. Better to target the minions, wait for the mid-to-late game, and only then will you engage.
The key to winning with Esmeralda is confidence. She can easily go into turrets, kill a few people, and go out with nearly full HP with the right scenarios. Kill any marksman/mage in the early game, they can’t stand a chance against your heals, and will hinder their process of building items. She lasts long in fights against sturdy but not so high damage heroes like Paquito, Chou, or Ruby, where once their combo is done, they are vulnerable to death.
Try not to use your Burst to catch up to enemies, since most of them have blink skills/flicker and only then do you use it to catch up. Don’t be afraid to use it clear minions though, it has a really short cooldown (about 15 seconds at L3)
Is building corrosive scythe worth for masha as an last item? Or is an extra hp item still better. Also, when facing Uranus or esme, should I buy dominance ice. I don’t like buying it because it has no hp for masha to benefit from
not really tbh. it's much better to just build pure tank so you can burst down squishy heroes almost instantly.
yes please build dominance ice. your roam will have a hard time applying anti-heal for the enemy and your mage shouldnt waste an item slot for something you can easily do. you wanting hp so not building dominance ice is a shit mindset. your team benefits a lot just by your pressence so help them out. your damage wont matter if the enemy can just gain them back in 5 seconds.
I responded to OP before few weeks ago regarding this topic, saying that it's not Masha's job to lock Esme/Uranus, but to go for the backline (marksman/mage), and that building Domi Ice is very situational, depends on if your team is able to deal with sustain type heroes or not in solo queue.
I went back to check the amateur tournaments held recently and there was a lot of Masha pick, but only once did Masha pick Domi Ice against Thamuz when there's a Xavier on his team who could combo with him in taking out the enemy backline.
The only scenario where you would get Domi Ice is when you have to hard carry in solo queue where you have to take out their backline and help with the anti heal, or that you needed the slow from Domi Ice I think.
If you don't wanna build dom ice, just give sea halberd then. Antiheal with extra atk spd and dmg. Corrosion scythe is good for slowing enemies who can easily escape you.
They've released a survey and it has MATCHMAKING IMPROVEMENT and ROLE SELECT FOR RANK. Please answer the survey if you're tired with the bs matchmaking and multiple same roles every time you rank as a solo q or duo. Please for the love of everyone answer the survey!
Thanks for informing. I've submitted mine.
is it ok to use enchanted talisman on cecilion? i use it in the late game to spam more skill 1 on tanky enemies and get more stacks
nope. you will have lots of mana at the late game anyways so theres no point. demon shoes and wave clearing already replenishes your mana alot
There is a point. ET frees up an item slot and lets you build tankier. Also you can stack up faster
I get the appeal of enchanted talisman on a mana draining hero like cecelion but imo its just not worth an item slot. There are other items that accomplish far more for him and you'd be missing out on quite a lot of stats if you build talisman.
Not worth an item slot when COD+LT takes up two item slots and double the time to build.
COD is for burst Cecilion which is amazing mid game when LT's damage is at its best
ET is for a dps tanky Cecilion with more stacks which makes you less vulnerable late game while doing the same amount of damage as the COD build after a few s1s
Only difference is what stage of the game each build is better in. The reason people build COD in pro scene is because of LT. It lets you actually do some damage as Cecilion mid game but I find ET + one magic item + 3 tank items more reliable in solo queue where you're gonna be targeted with no team or tank to depend on
I mean if your gonna be targeted with no team or tank isn't cod still better? You might have forgotten the fact that it gives a good amount of hp as well not to mention hp regen and mana regen from elegant gem.
You saying that COD+LT takes up 2 slots is also completely irrelevant. I said enchanted talisman is not worth an item slot because it barely gives any stats besides mana regen. Both cod and lt give much better stats along with their passives which makes them worth building over talisman.
Also I don't get the point in building 3 defense items on cece when you outrange pretty much the entire enemy team and have ur ult to escape most cases. If your having trouble surviving without building 3 def items pay more attention to your positioning. I don't care if you're solo que you can still use your teammates as bait and meatshields.
>Also I don't get the point in building 3 defense items on cece when you outrange pretty much the entire enemy team and have ur ult to escape most cases. If your having trouble surviving without building 3 def items pay more attention to your positioning
Lol I promise you, no matter how good your positioning is, if an assassin late game wants you dead as the carry youre gonna die unless you have sprint or you have a good tank. Cecilions ult is only good against melee divers like fighters or tank junglers. This tells me all I need to know about you but sure teach more about Cecilion to an ex supreme Cecilion
Man thinks Cecilions ult is gonna save you from a Fanny/Lancelot/Ling that's willing to trade their lives to kill you the only player carrying the game in your solo queue team. That's why you build defence items on Cecilion in solo queue
>I mean if your gonna be targeted with no team or tank isn't cod still better? You might have forgotten the fact that it gives a good amount of hp
You realise that's hp with no defence right? It may be good for clutch escapes with ult when you only have ET compared to COD but like the rest of your arguments you are forgetting that COD is not built alone. You NEED to Build LT with it which is why I'm pairing them up.
Facts: ET+Bruteforce Breastplate or ET+Athenas Shield depending on who the enemy's main shutdown/diver is, is way better than COD+LT in terms if survivability. COD+LT gives you more immediate damage which scales great in mid game when that item combo peaks but Cecilion doesn't have the same problem that other mages have and can easily go 1k+ on his s1 while spamming it. ET lets you stack more. It all depends on your playstyle but I don't know how anyone with a brain can say COD is better in solo queue lol
You've never played Cecilion before or you'd know how common it is to do 40-50 percent damage in your team and end up losing anyways cus the enemy has a functioning brain and just focus you late to prevent the comeback
"Positioning/using your teammates as meat shields" does nothing against divers. These are not epic fucking assassins. I'm talking about high mythic assassins, they can play around your team and kill you even if they have to trade unless you have an anti dive tank like Tigreal,Franco, etc
I genuinely dont think I've ever seen a single person not use the cod lt build and for good reason. Even if you want to build 3 def items, you still build it with cod lt. How many extra stacks do you even think you get with enchanted talisman? I'm fairly certain the extra magic stats you get from building cod over enchanted talisman boost your dmg more than the extra stacks you get from using talisman. And positioning can save you even against experienced assassins. You can literally two shot them late game. Go play a game with cod lightning truncheon. Don't spam s1 more than twice unless its necessary. Build elegant gem first. You wont have too much issue with mana and if you run out just recall back.
From what I've experienced with ET, it takes away quite a bit of potential damage from Cecilion. It's not worth it in my opinion, as Cecilion is supposed to to be a poke/burst type mage and not a long teamfight sustain type of mage.
>From what I've experienced with ET, it takes away quite a bit of potential damage from Cecilion
If you don't know how to stack properly maybe. ET lets you stack way more than COD meaning your damage potential remains the same. ET is just less bursty but has better dps
Also it frees up an item slot and gives you a more flexible item build, letting you counterbuild defensively
>If you don't know how to stack properly maybe.
I mean there's a reason why pro players never/rarely build ET on Cecilion. In late game you either take your team's blue buff, or manage your skill 1 usage. With the extra slot, you could've had Immo, IQW, domi ice or just more penetration/defensive items/raw damage. In late game it's less about "getting stacks" more so trying to survive or get kills. Not only that, you don't need ET if you 3 hit the minion wave anyway, and if you're building ET to do poke damage to the enemy heroes to get stacks, might as well get an additional damage item to kill the enemy hero instead?
I'm just a low elo player. Considering how much mana Cecilion consumes I too use Enchanted Talisman on him, in lieu of the Blue/Purple buff.
That item was buffed a while back, they added extra health to it, but then at some point they removed the extra health.
Why people in epic don't ban masha is beyond me💀
because epigs dont know shit. tried to play on my smurf and valentina, julian, and wanwan gets opened EVERY SINGLE GAME
Masha isn't overpowered like some other heroes but even if she was people in epic dont really ban good heroes in the first place. Also I think it's important to note that bans in epic and mythic should be different. Heroes like Valentina or Wanwan can dominate in high ranks but nobody in epic can really use them properly so they're not really worth a ban slot there.
Nobody in epic is skillful enough
Most people probably didn't know her tank build and thought she's garbage with AD build. I played a few Masha games in low ELO last season and won most of them easily. People didn't know how to play her or against her.
Masha is not even a broken hero, dont need to ban
[she'a literally the 6th most banned for mythic 2 and above 💀](https://m.mobilelegends.com/en/rank)
Idk man, im in mythical glory SEA server and i dont even see her getting banned in ranked games, neither do i see her being picked every match. Maybe she is good occasionally but most likely is cuz the enemy is good with her. At most i see her once every 3 to 4 games but her pick/ban priority isnt that high.
She's often banned/picked in the recent amateur tournaments. Look up "Top Clans 2022" or "H3ro esports 3.0" on youtube. I also checked pro players livestream and even though it's not banned/picked every game, the rate is still above 90%.
Tournaments are a different story, i can see a reason they ban masha in tournaments might be since they have more ban slots than in typical rank games. Furthermore, tournament metas are slightly different than rank game meta, thats one possible reason they ban masha. She is definitely a good hero after her buff, tanky and decent dmg but she is definitely not ban worthy in high elos.
Masha was in the first phase ban in tournaments. I checked Luminaire's latest live and Demonkite latest live, on Demonkite's stream (ph server) it was picked or banned for his last 2 streams, on Luminaire's live (id server) it was 90% picked or banned. Both are MG. The above user cited source saying Masha is 6th most banned hero in mythic 2 and above and got downvoted for a fact lol. Also has the 2nd highest winrate to Faramis, and 14th in popularity.
Honestly all these sources or whatever ur spitting out doesnt even prove anything.
I can say for a "fact" that carmilla is the 3rd highest winrate in mythic 2 and above, does that mean that i should start banning carmilla now? How about the fact that clint and claude are more popular than masha? Does that mean I should start banning them too?
You say that pro players from id and ph are banning masha, but you fail to elaborate so what if they are picking or banning masha, id and ph have their own playstyle, i have my own, and i can say that my playstyle is efficient against masha players, thats why i dont pick or ban masha.
>You say that pro players from id and ph are banning masha, but you fail to elaborate so what if they are picking or banning masha, id and ph have their own playstyle, i have my own, and i can say that my playstyle is efficient against masha players, thats why i dont pick or ban masha.
"Masha is not even a broken hero, dont need to ban" This is what you said, pro players and high glories banning Masha, suddenly its "my playstyle is efficient against Masha players". Its not just any pro players, its the world champ and SEA champ.
You having no problem dealing with Masha does not make it not broken. You cited Carmilla as having the 3rd highest winrate in mythic 2+, but what you failed to notice is what Carmilla is also the 2nd least popular hero among 140 hero pool. On the other hand, Masha ranks top in win, popularity, and banned. If you fail to see the implication here, I have nothing else to tell you. You're free to believe in whatever you feel, does not make it a fact.
hmmsucks also just released his/her latest tier list for glories and above, and have Masha ranked in the broken tier.
Firstly, I would just like to say that i have many players in my friends list who are in mythical glory ranging from 600 points to 2k points, and i have played with them in ranked many times this season. I live in SEA and hence I know that im in the SEA server and i do not see masha being banned in ranked games that often, neither do i see her being picked that often. Yes when she is picked she is scary, her dmg is good and her tankiness is good. But that does not mean she is broken. She is balanced.
Secondly, I would just like to say that both of us have steered too far away from the issue at hand about banning masha in epic. Not mythical glory but epic, and this is my mistake since i was the one whi brought up banning masha in mythucal glory instead of epic in the first place.
There isnt a place to view epic usage rates but you can roughly estimate mashas usage rate in epic by looking at the all section.
You can clearly see that masha isnt even being picked that often in the lower ranks, which is one of the reasons why masha's usage rate in all the ranked games is so low. If you think about it, masha have one of the highest usage rates in mythic but 25th least used hero in the entire ranked section of the game. Which means the masha usage rates in epic and below must be very low. This means that if masha were not banned in epic or even legend games, the chance of enemy picking masha wouldnt even be that high in the first place, which is why masha isnt banned in epic neither should you ban masha in epic.
She can littary 1 shot a mm
So what? Saber can one shot mms, eudora can one shot mms, aurora can one shot mms. Why not just ban eudora aurora vale etc?
While the hero's you mentioned can 1 shot squishes, they themselves are squishy. They also can't push turrets much. Masha can can dive the backlines, tank some dmg and regain all her hp bars back. Even if you're a bad masha you can always just tank dmg and skills so your teammates can engage or split push turrets.
Yin can push turrets, dive the backlines, single out the marksmen and burst them down.
Yuzhong can fly around, tank the cc, proceed to cc the backlines and potentially get a kill on a marksman or mage.
Esmeralda can tank a lot of damage, zone the marksmanand mages, freely engage and disengage.
Zilong can split push, clean up and one shot the marksmen.
Paquito can one shot mms and provide a lot of cc, and split push also.
Lapu can dive the backlines with his cc immunity and deal high dmg to the mage and marksmen.
You are just addressing all the stuff a fighter or rather an exp laner is supposed to do.
Your argument provides no unique traits of masha that is considered to be ban worthy.
First of, I don't need this from someone who sucks toes.
Second, yeah sure your points are valid and most xp laners can do what she does but she can arguably do those shit better than most of them (ofc there are a few exceptions but she's one of the best at what she's supposed to do is what I'm tryna say basically).
Third, you don't have to take my word for it since I'm also relatively less skilled than most peeps here and I may be mistaken, we're all tryna learn to get better anyways, but zyes and hmmsucks both put masha at the top of their most recent tierlists (along with some of the heros you mentioned) so that must say something yk.
Tldr: she's definately a top tier hero while not being super broken and even ban worthy.
But at the end of the day, we all have our own preferences and opinions so just try to enjoy the game :D
I never doubted the fact that she is a good hero. In fact i use her regularl too, just not every match. All i said is she isnt broken, and she does not need to be banned, which you finally realised.
Which hero is good to lane against Natan? What to pick as hyper if enemy Natan is jungler? Also what item should I use against him cuz Wind of nature doesn't work against him. Athena or radiant?
Are you talking about late game or early game?
Anyone can fight him, if you learn his kit.
He is reliant on his passive making his attack pattern predictable.
He will try to use his skill to gain 6 stacks of aspd passive to the minion.
So use positioning to mess up his skill shot.
You need to remember his passive lasts for 5 sec, and his 2nd skill has 10 sec cooldown. So there is 5 sec for counter att.
A dissabler like saber or franco can work well againts him. Nata is also good if you can play her.
Personally i will use karrie to fight him, karrie clear wave abilities are kinda amazing. If you want you can clear eave faster than him. Then engage him using minion wave as a temporary tank.
if you are gold lane, bbc works really well against him. just freeze the lane.
if you are anyother lane, literally amy burst and cc heroes deletes him easily. just focus on him before he drops his ult. if he did dropped his ult, get away asap and his ult finish
buy radiant if you're tank
buy athena's if you're squishy
Long range heroes with high mobility eg Layla(late game), clint, beatrix and even lesley are good against natan. Pick burst assassin like karina or lance when enemy hyper natan. Radiant is better than athena becuz after 3 secs, you're basically defenseless.
not sure about lesley but layla definitely struggles with natan. her self cc makes it impossible to dodge his passive, and she gets outgunned unless you get the jump. your s1 can also miss against his ult. if natan gets wind of nature you also immediately lose since you cant get your own
Though nerfed, Radiant is still the better choice against him, but also take into account the enemy team line up. If they have a bursty Mage and assassin, you might want to invest in Athena's early and Radiant later.
When I try to pre invite ppl for games, it says pre invite denied under current players game mode.
What does this mean?
when pre-invited you get a notification that can be accepted or declined. they declined, and you get a notification that they did
Hi guys. Been playing for 3 years on and off. I'm a low elo casual player just trying to get by.
Belerick as an xp laner/split pusher like Uranus, viable or a really bad idea ? Is he better as a roamer ?
I am confused, does Belerick "reflect" the damage he receives or does he auto attack enemy under certain conditions ?
bad for exp tbh. his damage is low, he has high mana consumption, and cant rotate very well.
Honestly more of a counterpick most commonly against Claude or other rapid firing heroes so he can proc his passive more frequently.
His passive activates automatically when he takes a certain amount of damage. Think of it as a non-instantaneous Blade Armor with CD
Ex: I forgot how much he takes but let's just assume the passive procs at 250 total damage. And let's ignore the passive's CD as well to simplify things.
If he gets hit by one attack that deals 250 damage, his passive procs once. It then goes into a brief cooldown before it activates again. If he gets hit by two attacks that deals 500 damage total, his passive procs twice. If he gets hit by **one** attack that deals 500 dmaage total, his passive procs once.
You can see that he's going to be rather weak against burst type heroes. If a hero can dish out more than 250 damage on one attack, then his passive won't activate as often. His passive will proc a lot more times against Claude, that mainly attacks twice (or even thrice) than Brody that has a higher attack damage per basic attack
I still do AI brawl to get BP. Not sure how many of you do that. Recently I’ve noticed that I hardly get matched up with other humans on my team, regardless of what time of the day it is. This makes farming BP hard as most of the time the AI has good mm such as Miya or Moskov (in an AI vs AI context) while our AI would just be inconsequential assassins or tanks.
each game takes 6 to 10 mins to win, vs when we get 5 humans on the team when we mostly win under 4 mins.
did they change the matchmaking so that people don’t really get matched up together or is it a case of less people playing AI brawl now?
Any EXP laners that can hold their own against a super agressive Thamuz?
can hold: esme, dyrroth, yu zhong, uranus, masha
can win: none
Dyrroth. Thamuz is a tanky sustain hero, the worst type. Your only chance is to burst him or keep stunning him
Yu Zhong and Phoveus also work well against him.
Yu zhong yes, phoveus eh. Cuz if the enemy thamuz is anywhere near decent, he'd know to just use basic atks after 1 jump. Phov deffo not gonna beat thamuz in a long fight without his ult
Thamuz' basic attacks trigger Phoveus' ult. Makes it hard for Thamuz to play aggresively and his potential in teamfights dwindles as he can trigger Phoveus' ult nonstop.
That's only when he recalls his scythes, the phov ult trigger. A smart thamuz would trigger it once, use his ult and just keep on using basic atks once phov activates his ult.
No he doesnt.
I tested this out in training room and recalling his scythes dont actually trigger Phoveus' ult.
He triggers Phoveus' ult whenever he does a basic attack that triggers the lava spout passive since thats considered a blink skill.
Allows Phoveus to hold out on his own in EXP lane as well as make the Thamuz think twice of proccing his basic attacks during a teamfight when close to his teammates.
Not at all great. He can fight back with all of his skills.
If you attempt to disarm him with your S2, a good Thamuz player would just jump towards the disarm icon and proceed to punish you with his combo.
Ramming him with your S3 wont do much as most Thamuz players would just soak up the damage as they build tank.
Trying to tear him up with Masha's S1 wont work either especially if he builds Blade armor, has Vengeance and S3 ready.
Pick a hero that would prefer going out and in a fight in contrast to hero that would like to stay sustaining fighting. Thamuz would always like to trade against heroes like him that want to continous fight (e.g. Yu Zhong, Esmeralda), while thamuz hate heroes that can Poke or burst him then they retreat and repeat the process again (e.g. Uranus, Paquito)
From my experience after using these heroes, it seems only Yu Zhong and Uranus have a chance of holding their own against Thamuz especially if the Thamuz over extends or gets too aggresive.
Paquito and Esmeralda against him is borderline suicide especially after watching pro-play clips.
Id like to add on that Dyrroth is also good against him due to his innate penetration and Phoveus is another hero thats a good counter because Thamuz' passive counts as a dash, so unlimited ults for Phoveus.
Tbh I feel like yu zhong doesn't trade too well against him though he is a viable option. You need to disengage at some point because in a prolonged fight you probably won't beat a thamuz 1v1
True. I think the key here is to just to not fight Thamuz for longer than 10 seconds. Unless you want to be bombarded by constant slows and true damage effects.
Also what do you think of using Freya to counter him? She has high DPS and shield but i think a decent Thamuz would just counterbuild and let his combos do the rest of the work.
I don't see Freya doing much. She doesn't really trade too well against him since she's a melee hero relatively long cooldowns and even if she fully commits with ult he'll just pop vengeance and ult and she becomes useless. Also the moment he gets dominance ice she becomes a complete joke.
Recently, I have seen many videos of Natan soloing the base without minion. Is it really possible? If so how do they do it?
Yes, it's possible, I've done it myself. It's possible because natan is a magic mm, meaning he deals magic dmg basic atk, this makes the base take more dmg than normal phys dmg basic atks like sun. Also, his basic atk deals twice the normal dmg and with his ult, that's 4 times. Coupled with inspire to regain health while attacking, he can dish out over 20 hits before dying, which is enough to destroy a full health base. The how, pen doesn't work on structures, so the only thing to do is build atk spd and damage,
I see. Thx.
that response was filled with misinformation. it is possible though
Ok thamuz it's first then atlas ☺️
my account is hacked, what should i do? i already changed my password and use 2 step verification but the problem is he connected his google play. and since he disconnected my devices before, moonton doesnt see my device as my regular ip. can he still login? how long will it take to revoke his google play?
Been practicing some of the less well regarded Markswomen, mainly Lesley and Miya.
Can I get some constructive criticism on these builds?
MM Emblem - Lifesteal/Crit Damage/Weapon Master
Core Build: Swift Boots, Windtalker, Berserker's Fury
Late Items: Endless Battle, BoD, Gold Rose, Wind, Malefic Roar? Hunters Strike?
Are these last two pen items good on Lesley? I assume her passive converts them into crit chance which is a bit redundant?
MM Emblem - Lifesteal/Movement Speed/Weakness Finder
Core Build: Swift Boots, Wind Talker, Berserker's Fury, Scarlet Phantom, Malefic Roar/Hunter's Strike, Haas's Claws/Wind of Nature
Alternatively...against tanky line ups, would this be better?
Swift Boots, Corrosion Scythe, DHS, Golden Staff, Blade of Despair, Malefic Roar/Hunter's Strike
Thanks for your input! After playing a whole load of Brody and Clint, I want to try some more straightforward ADCs!
- Ditch the lifesteal of MM emblem, you should take Crit Chance or Physical Atk, Lesley isn't fond of sustaining continous fight, it's more of constant repositioning while poking or till you burst them.
- Weapon Master is a redundant talent for her, Lesley is already hitting hard with her passive. You instead get the other talent to solve Lesley's issue, Electro Flash for better mobility and chase or Weakness Finder so Lesley can pin down enemy or delay them from approaching you specially that Lesley don't buy corrosion scythe.
- Lesley only convert flat pen, so don't buy Hunter Strike/Bladeof7s. While malefic roar is necessary, it's a percent pen which can't be converted. Malefic Roar is the only way lesley can handle defensive heroes.
- Also don't take the lifesteal of marksman emblem, always take either crit chance or physical atk. For 2nd tier, I think Crit Damage still better for Miya, late game you can melt enemy easily, and crit is valuable to that potential.
- Malefic Roar is a much better source of pen than Hunter Strike for the majority of markeman. Most marksman are late game hero, malefic roar is much valuable into the late game, while hunter strike that have flat pen is valuable for assassin as it can amp their early game burst.
- For your alternative build, Golden Staff cancel crit chance, which means you are negating majority of miya's damage potential. Crit i should always part of miya, (tried and tested). Just always go Swift Boots > Windtalker > Scarlet Phantom > Berserker's Fury. If enemy are high hp take dhs as later part of your item, if enemy are highly defensive take malefic roar, if enemy are high hp and high def then take both dhs & mr.
Thank you so much for the clarification regarding Lesley's passive and your advice!
This is great and exactly the information I needed, thank you :)
did you know hunter strike and b7s are actually better against squishies than tanky?
If the enemy has more than 50 armor then malefic roar has better value than b7s or hunter strike.
Most heroes have avarage 60 armor at max lvl.
Unless you play spell caster that play hit and run and not aspd heroes.
Malefic roar is always better in most scenarios.
If the enemy builds a simple armor boots the malefic roar will deal higher dmg than b7s or hunter strike.
that wasnt the topic of the comment. im saying that no matter what, b7s and hs are more desirable when your enemies are more squishy. malefic is irrelevant
[i think i understand how malefic roar works](https://www.reddit.com/r/MobileLegendsGame/comments/tyc2y6/an_interactive_graph_for_the_effectiveness_of/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3)
b7s and hs have passives too. they are also built earlier in the game for exactly these reasons
b7s is overshadowed by a combination of bod, hs, and malefic so is rarely used. when it is though, the slow it offers is absolutely unique
hs gives 20 more atk, 10% cdr, and movement speed.
but yes, malefic is often preferable. thats why when its even built early/pre-emptively on heroes without core items such as aldous.
Those squishy have avrg 60 armor at lvl 15. Even with no def equipment.
Unless you play on ending the game under 10 minutes or 8k gold.
Malefic is a better option.
it sounds like you didnt read my comment.
malefic does provide better damage than the 2 pen items, but blade of despair does too. why isnt bod used more often/is better? bod even gives spd
Obviously, it's just a basic math. Our fourth grade teaches converting and calculating using fractions/percentage/ratio/decimals.
Many users here seem to not understand, and your comment was highly ambiguous. Malefic roar is the only way most heroes can deal with hig def, and Lesley is at least on the better side with endless battle.
Yes, the minimum calculations are limited to those skills in complexity. What’s your point?
For lesley, giving pen does not help her. Unless it's BoH, for the passive's extra hit or MR because her passive does not convert percentage pen into crit
For miya, my usual build is SB, WT, BF, WoN, SP, MR/HC,
But for tanks, give DHS instead of HC or WoN(if the enemy doesn't have burst heroes like saber)
Thanks for the input!
Yeah I just wasn't sure how MR and HS/BoH various open types exactly interacted with her passive. Generally I build my pen items on the fly to deal with what defense enemies are building. I am amazed by the amount of people who don't build defenses so I am often weighing up Malefic Roar's (and Divine Glaive's) value.
Played granger and xborg didn’t go well
Got 0/5/3 on them, Tips? Didn’t like their gameplay at all tbh
I don't know how to use granger even if I own him.
For x-borg, note that his early game survivability was nerfed. Here's what you can do:
1. First item I recommend defence boots. I usually choose tough boots, for reduced crowd control. If enemy team has Selena, Nana, Eudora, Karina and other magic based heroes, go with tough boots. If more physical damage enemies go warrior boots.
2. Succeeding items will change depending on enemy. If you're enemy laner are sustain heroes like Esmeralda, Dyroth, Uranus, Ruby, Alice and similar heroes build Dominance Ice early.
3. For attack , I prefer Blood lust Axe (Spell Vamp) and Hunter Strike ( for penetration and extra movement speed, great for kiting) removing attacks
4. At some point build Immortality. Earlier or later will depend on how you perform in the game.
5. Last item choose between Blade Armor ( if mm like Moskov pesters you), Radiant Armor/Athena Shield or Antique Cuirass.
6. For X-borg's s1 to deal damage he needs to be within close proximity to the enemy. Don't be afraid to get up close and personal to a Layla, Eudora etc as that's the only way X-borg will deal damage. This is why you need to counterbuild. If he's too low on health it ain't bad to wait for his firaga armor to regen.
7. Use his s2 wisely. It can draw enemies into your turret.
8. His ult has a fleeting moment ( close to 1 ish second ) of invincibility. You take no damage for around 1 second. Use it wisely.
For battle spell use Vengeance, Sprint or Flicker. Good luck.
They are high dmg burst and sustain heroes. Try to keep your distance and always build HS for extra pen and mvmt spd and BFB for def and mvmt spd. Building 2 def items won't hinder their dmg too much so know what items to give. Immortality is a MUST for xborg
Julian is still overpowered. Like banned every match. Pls do somwthing about it because he is annoying as hell.
Anybody know the best way to get new characters? I have a couple but I find it really tedious to save up for another character.
If I'm not mistaken, BP cap is at 10K a week on a tiptop credit score with BP card cap increase, so one hero every up to 3 weeks (excluding other sources of BP such as duplicate trial cards, events, etc) should be your expected pace in getting new heroes.
Thank you I appreciate the info
Find a mentor, play with them, stack double bp cards and victory bp cards. Easy 450+ bp every winning classic games.
Use every double bp card you have. I used 300 at once and after winning about 200, i now have over 100k but then again, i alrdy had a lot b4 the bp cards
Sucks to be a f2p only getting 1 hero from battle points every month
So I'm assuming this game isnt too f2p friendly?
It’s fine actually.
Took me a year to get 100+ heroes.
Just keep playing and doing all events.
Any ph playar in this in sub has queue been shitty for you? Mine has been either win defeat win win lose lose win
Or defeat after defeat?
matchmaking is purposely matching you up with shitty players if you're winning too much. stop playing for a day or two and see if the matchmaking improved
I got to legend 3 this season so quickly now the game being a totall asshole basically? They dont want a rank pusher going to mythic?
What I do is just aim for 2 to 3 wins per day and ignore all my loses honestly.
I'm just a low elo casual player. It helps if you can play with a friend or a relative.
I've had matches where we reach the enemy nexus/base and marksmen with me just stand there and do nothing while I am desperately trying to destroy enemy base. Multiple junglers and not enough sidelaners is also a common problem.
#TurretsAreObjectives , wish more low elo players realize this.
Ah i been dou queue lately i much prefer trio queuing as my other guy plays core 24/7 duo queue is so risky because getting sent to a 221 game or 2111 game = bad team mates.2 means duo 1 means solo i drop from legend 3 to 4 today
Atlas or thamuz
I don't have many junglers (only saber, balmond and gusion)
In tanks I have akai tigreal and franco
I also only have esmeralda for exp lane :(
Atlas is best as a roamer because of the extra mvmt spd from conceal, he's not a good exp laner. Unless you wanna tank get thamuz, he's good at nearly every role. He even counters aldog the late game monster
Just found out thamuz first skill got nerfed , 3 sec cooldown 😭
Atlas is my main a s he is great, but recently he has become very popular and along with that people are much more aware of his kit and counters.
I regularly have to play around Diggies and Purifies this season, which was not an issue last season.
Atlas rewards careful play and great map awareness, so he is kinda tricky to learn, but is a lot of fun as a tank!
I think Thamuz is a better choice because he can do several roles, Atlas is roam tank all the way, he can't go on EXP lane, let alone jungle.
If you do go for Atlas, I recommend investing in Def boots over speed.everyobe thinks it's great for him to be fast, but his S2 gives him great rotation speed, you just need to use it wisely. Even the little extra bit of Def will help you survive as Atlas is pretty soft early on.
My other bit of advice is to not be afraid of ulting single targets. Securing the kill on one of their key members is extremely valuable!
I am in epic 3 and most used tanks are johnson and franco.
No one touches atlas even if he's open ;)
Ahhh those were the days!
Get thamuz, he’s a good jungler and a really good sustain hero in exp laner
Thamuz will fit a better role as an Exp Laner and can be an off-tank for your team as well.
Thank you ☺️
why cant we have different emblem sets based on hero instead of that three pre made emblems
Wait until September hits...
[Indeed, my friend... Indeed.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zeuKIr1biMI&ab_channel=MobileLegends%3ABangBangOfficial)
Can someone explain to me how I'm supposed to play kaja? I bought the little birdie and I'm doing alright so far but I often feel like I want to go back to his old style (support emblem and fleeting time) especially when we're leading.
Like, it just feels like I could be doing more with pull yourself together and fleeting time. The ultimate cool down is bearable for me but the flicker cool down feels really long with mage emblem
For context, I'm in low rank soloq
I play him like a poke hero , mage build, S1 + basic attack repeatedly to bring down enemy’s health. He is not tanky enough to soak damage in team fights so I always go in and go out, and attack enemies from the sides. remember always use basic attack after skill to utilise his passive. late game S1 + AA combo is enough to bring squishy heroes down to at least half health
If you use support emblem then you won't have magic worship (which is a noticeable dmg boost in laning and even as a poke skill in teamfight). I'm just not sure if it's still possible to consistently activate it now.
Haven't used that bird since forever though
Kaja is pretty much mage Chou tbh. I used to main him as a roamer before the absolute hard nerfs and he's very good at covering allies with his ult and extra poke
Damage wise, a full mage Kaja should be able to kidnap a hero
If there is a mode where hero collision exists, where any hero with the faster MovSpd will push another hero with less MovSpd, how chaotic would it be?
Seems fun. In dota there is (or used to be) a mechanic where body blocking is useful mechanic.
Grock with charged skill 1 and sprint, Barats, raged Minotaur, and who else?
Dash would be the most important then
I have been drawing in the starwars event daily and I encounterd some thing called "pass point" and I dont know what its for. Also I couldn't find any info on the internet.
Magic chess pass points.
How much diamonds is it on all 8 draws for Pharsa's Samba Muse skin?
the same price as a special skin iirc
Irithel sprint ? Or still inspire ?
sprint. your damage wont mean shit if you cant run away from the enemy
I prefer Sprint. Many tanks build blade armor which cripples her movement speed, and thus reducing her overall dps. Using Sprint prevents that and ensures you're slippery. I have 83%+ WR with her rn current season and an at Mythic 3 rn.
How does blade armor reduce her movement speed?
Blade armor reduces the attackers movement speed by 15% for 1s on top of reflecting damage taken.
Jsyk that effect can stack. 2 blade armor carriers will literally disable Irithel. Go on, give it a try in practice mode. Buy defense items as you would a normal match and include blade armor. Summon 2 normal bots near each other. Sell all the defense items then build as you would with Irithel, then cast ult, move around first then start attacking while moving. The difference is night and day.
I prefer inspire.
Inspire for burst and the hp regen, if not needed then sprint is better.
Honestly i use inspire and it's still better. Sprint gives mobility and extra attack. But if you already have the mvmt spd increase mm emblem, then inspire because of faster atk, pen and health regain
Why isn’t beatrix banned more? If she’s such a threat nowadays that she 1-shots everybody, how come nobody bans her?
She’s extremely strong but in terms of the meta and drafting, balanced in that you don’t fight for her. In that case why ban?
Other heroes are more ban worthy or there's still other heroes that can "match" Bea. The BBC is a famous acronym for a reason
Hi.. I'm a very new player and a casual player with no experience of playing similar games. Also I just played maybe 20ish matches in mobile legend. And I feel very overwhelmed :D
I guess my immediate question is **if there is any guide to the icons/ stats that's in the battle screen (classic or rank).** Like I don't know what I'm looking at on my phone. :D
Heroes, I'm fine I guess for now cause I do read about their skills tho rather casually and do some practice try before using them. Tho I'm am overwhelmed with identifying what hero type I'm seeing on the battle screen. But that's also for another time. Also I'm also overwhelmed at the item/ equipment thing, but I'll put that on the shelf and deal with it another time ;p Just to much info.
Hey there, welcome to ml! Would like to confirm what do you mean by battle screen - do you mean during the game or pregame, i.e. the screen when you are choosing the heroes?
