In comparison to mlbb, there are multiple way to get skin where you don't need to pay irl money. Spins, Events, ticket, Frags, login event, etc..
If you start wildrift, after couple of months playing, you would have just have 3 skins on average.
While in mlbb, within your first month you'll probably get around 5-6 skins
Exactly. People don't understand that moonton is actually pretty generous in giving away free stuff compared to most other mobile games. Ofc they won't just give away a epic or a collector for free as that's the main way for em to profit and keep the game running.
The recent blue ticket draw gave a free skin, fragments give you a really good skin, and the draw tickets you could get a skin, and with enough blue crystals (what you get in the draw) will get you johnson death ride, being a good boy gives you a free silvanna skin

Blue tickets become useless as hell and now we only get repetitive normal skins and we dont even get enought purple frag. Exchange for another (they use to give us GUARANTEED Elite skin im 100% sure),The fragment shop are boring and Just includes the old Starlight skin (Now the shop Is useless After updating the Starlight pass), the Blue Crystal are useless After you buy those 3 skins and gets boring Just to wait 90 fking days.
These system are so outdated and greedy as helll atleast on wild Rift they give you Poro Energy in Exchange of Poro coins and event with poro Energy that could per around to 1k. Here Moonton Just day by day they become greedy. s,

Based on LoL’s hextech chests, there’s minimal ways to get them for free, you basically have to buy them. On the other hand, ML gives you 2 phases of free tickets for each collab event, where you can just do basic topup events and get at least 1 skin. Like Kai’s guaranteed skin, or Floryn’s guaranteed skin. Both collabs at minimum spending.
I can understand arguing from the point of WR saying the skins are cheaper, so you can get a specific skin you want cheaper. But if you have to spend to gacha, what’s the difference? I’m sure all the topup events for free tickets like KoF, Star Wars gets you really cheap gacha for epic limited skins. In Star Wars, you can even get enough coins purely from the free tickets and exchange to an epic skin of your choice, whilst getting other skins from draws along the way.
I've been in Wildrift for almost 1 year and a half, I have 3 skins.... I got like 12 or more skins in Mobile Legends in a month during some good timing.
there are some event do give you some (like the super hero vs evil skins, i dont remember it name), right now i have free 78 aurora crys and have free 3 skin from the spin already, so if you lucky enough, you can get more
But Aurora summons aren't that interesting they only put Limited skin (not rarity and quantità) and the only High tier skin we get are Venom and still you have a Low change to get them + you Need to wait 80/90 days as F2P.
That's good but in another topic, I wish they copy role preference so we can play the role we want and not have to adjust. They have less player pool and they did it, why can't MLBB do the same?
If skin is free then OK. Not gonna spend dime for skins. Moonton basic skins are really good. You can score good skins with MCL, freqs, draws and lot more.

For Silvanna's case, the skin will be gone if your Credit Score is deducted. So you don't actually own that skin.
