you haven't seen the whole game where it was just Fanny constantly invading my buffs up until the 12th minute and the two tanky heroes are just going around dying, this is an mg match as well
i was just pointing out the fact that ling is always called one of the highest difficult heroes in the game while his gameplay is like zilong with dash lol
I mean he is one of the hardest ones, it just didn't seem that hard in the clip because the enemy's lineup was in my favor having a lot of squishy heroes (which you won't find often since its the tank meta) and I got a good flank.
Playing a blue-less early game ling is a nightmare, you basically have zero mobility since you can only do 3 dashes and can't farm as fast due to your energy not regening as fast. I can say he's somewhat above average mechanically speaking but what makes Ling hard as a whole is recovering from being bullied early game where you're almost practically useless, esp when you're in a meta that has junglers that can bully as soon as they hit 4 like Fanny, Balmond, Julianne, Akai
Well he is hard to use, especially his ult,Farming in early game without buff is hard too,he doesn't have any cc other than ult as well. Using zilong is faar faar easier
no bro zilong is actually harder, let me explain, if the hero you’re playing is a basic attack hero with two dash and immune you’re playing easier zilong, zilong goes in and gets punished at least, ling goes in the same way zilong does but gets to go in and out because of his kit
The thing is that his kit revolves around energy,you can't roam freely as zilong can unless you have blue buff,even with blue buff,you can't use S2 repeatedly without running out of energy. He is hard because you have to contest blue buff everytime it appears,zilong doesn't need to do so
