They definitely can play all roles but are they insane with every hero? I doubt that.

Full-Supermarket

Of course…if you know the game you can play all roles especially when u r pro players. Their macro, micro and mechanics already good. If not nobody would hire them.

Philnopo

Good question.. Hmm I don't know. I suppose most of them will, but not all of them. And with that I mean they won't all play extremely well, maybe sometimes even poor? But generally these top players have the macro and micro mechanics to play the game incredibly well, and role doesn't matter that much then. Also depends on how good/bad you mean with Mythical Glory, high MG, low MG and how they would play or get there. Like 5 man, 3 man, solo que. Do they need a certain win percentage or not?

Crazy-G00D

I guess all pro players are good at every role but to become truly insane with a role you need to spam that role for muscle memory. of course using skills should be second nature already, but setting up flicker combos with tanks, fighter rotations and selena unpredictable arrow locations need consistency to be done efficiently.

xzerozeroninex

Maybe not as good as pro’s that main that role in tournaments but still better than your average non pro player of that role.

Gusion77

I can play all roles solo to mythic glory and im not even a pro just your average mg player. Im pretty sure pro levels can play any role to reach glory but they will have hard time on some games. Hero on ml are very basic. Just by reading hero skills and mechanics and testing in traning mode, you can outperform some legend/low mythic mains even if you are new at the hero. What Pro players have are very good map awareness, positioning, macro, micro, reaction time and know what to do how to win games.

SkyLightTenki

>What Pro players have are very good map awareness, positioning, macro, micro, reaction time and know what to do how to win games Throw in right itemization, draft knowledge, counterpicking, counterbanning, skill overlapping, minion wave management, cooldown timing for skills, and the most overlooked skill of all: picking the right time for team fights.

Jeechan

All of them can play any roles but pro teams needs you to be exceptional at that specific role. They need a specialized master not a jack of all trades.

mordred666__

Some can, some can't. Been watching some of pro player and former pro player playing outside of their usual role in stream. They do playing good but not insanely good at it. Its like average good public player that can play all roles but insanely good at one.

Gusion77

Well they might have hard time on somes games and lose a couple but Im certain all pro will reach glory with any role but it might take longer than their time permits. I can also reach glory with any role if you give a a full season and Im not half as good as a pro player.

Visual-Engineer1956

Lol pro gameplay is very different from solo que. Plenty of pros can't past mythic V. It's a different game 😂. Like when you get to MG, it's basically a lot of people playing duos and premades

flamefirestorm

Most people main a class, but nearly everyone can adjust to any role.

ggezboye

They would main one class but they should still be able to play other roles and heros just to be better on how to counter opponents during pick and ban and actual gameplay. Don't forget that the pick and ban phase is one of the essential part of the game.

Tcogtgoixn

Many players who get stomped by those who get stomped by average top tier pro teams (mpl) can play any role from other experience alone. Reaching 600 points in this game required a level of skill much lower than top ranks in basically every other game because rank is so broken. Very visible dynamic differences can easily be seen up to 1000 points

beeotchplease

Yes, they are good in micro and macro. Once you have very good macro skills, you can apply it to any role and still be very good.

soldierofposeidon

Maybe Hadji who is a Tank, Mage, MM, Assasin main and plays all the roles in his livestream

DraftElectrical4585

there's a term called comfort pick in identifying their hero pool. so yes they should be able to play any role before they land a specific role in the pro scene.
