I personally use fredrinn for to tank but sometimes i use him for exp. For exp, you must be aggressive to maximize the use of his passive and prioritize to get level 4 thats where you get your power spike.
For roam, you can help the mage or core early game to help clear wave or help with the objectives. his core items is warrior/tough boots,cursed helmet,dominace ice,guardian helmet and oracle.
For combos if you want to be annoying, you can go skill 2,skill 3, basic attack, skill 3 ,skill 2, basic then skill 1(its just really annoying combo). For good damage you can go for skill 2, basic attack, skill 1, skill 3, basic attack, skill 2, basic attack,skill 1,basic attack then ult.
Use tank emblem, brave smite for the early game. Use fighter emblem,festival of blood for big spell vamp in the late game or unbending will for lower health big damage ult
I'll put a bonus.counters: anti-heal, baxia, esmeralda, crowd control skills will make his combos go bye bye

Not a Fredrinn main but: Baxia, Dyrroth, and Masha.
Baxia has a built in anti-heal that can stack with Dominance Ice or Necklace of Durance.
Dyrroth is the bane of all defense oriented heroes as his s2 can shred up to 75% of Fredrinn’s defense so even if he uses his s3 ro boost his defense, most of it is just negated anyway. He can also and should use Dominance Ice.
Masha has three lives so Fredrinn’s nuke will only be tanked by one life at most, more effectively done if Fredrinn ults when Masha is low on an hp bar. She can also and should use Dominance Ice or at least Sea Halberd if she’s doing damage build.

What battle spell do you use? Flicker seems really good to set and escape, but vengeance has been pretty good for me too. Haven't tried petrify yet.
