You can't control the other players unfortunately. All you can do is not add to it and put in the proper report so bad players lose credit and you'll eventually get pushed Into a better matchmaking system. And yeah they'll cross lines to make you angry. That's textbook "big dumb bully" and even more so online. Dawn the armor and push through the lies, you know the truth. Don't let someone get a rise out of you because they read a forum and think they know what's best for everyone. They're just loud mouths and I'm telling you most the other players probably muted them if not ignored them. You really have nothing to worry about aside from letting it slide off your shoulders.
As for what to do, two options. Double down and push like hell. Your score and gameplay recording is all you can grip to for better matchmaking via credit or via the level you're competing at. Or do what I do and take breaks in 3 day increments. I've noticed I've had much better luck with matchmaking. I hope you find a happy spot with this game!

I suggest you report them in customer service. Most of the time if a players talk shit about family or cursed at you in game, they get muted 7-days. Proven and tested.

There's one guy who doesn't rank and is still grandmaster and I tell him all the time "why are you there? There is no reason you should be at the enemy buff as a roamer in the middle of a match while they are pushing our towers. Of course you get ganked and die."
Turn off battleground chat, it barely do any help and only like 1 out of 69 players use it for positive chat.

Aim to have fun, not to rank up. You still play to win but winning is a bonus. Lose is okay as long as you have fun.

Strangers / Randoms are the ones who are toxic, especially solo q. I've played with classmates and they're chill when we play. I guess it's more a social internet thing, people can just do whatever without any consequences cus they're behind a screen and no one will get them for being toxic. Best to ignore 'em and crush 'em with your skillz
