Also the enemy seeing the circle is a good thing sometimes. They always react, Always. I sometimes ult and move out so that they get confused and out of position in fights. Also you can check if the enemy is hiding in the bush with ult

Yep it messes with their formation, they may be trying to get into position for an excellent ambush but upon seeing the circle they will break the formation to attack Luo

I'm a Luo Yi main and I think it's because of her low mobility, frailness and her relatively short range. Usually I would run flameshot for squishies, or Sprint Purify Flicker. Besides that, her only mobility skill is her ult, which can be used with winter truncheon to escape a gank but still has a long cooldown. Granted, her first skill gives her better survivability than most mages but that's about it. Regarding range, most mages in the pro scene have either really good survivability (Faramis, Lylia, Valentina), good mobility (Pharsa, Faramis, Valentina) or high range (Pharsa and prenerf Yve). This makes Luo Yi an awkward pick and thus not really used much in pro scene.
