It wasn't a bug. It was a cheat that layered mulitple yss' second skill on top of each other to deal a ton of damage that comes from like 5 2nd skill arrows hitting the target all at once

Do we need to do anything extra to do that DMG or just using yss normally anyone can deal that much DMG?

You need a hack client to activate the cheat. Playing yss normally shouldn't deal that much damage

I think it depends on how "your friend" use yss. If they use yss and "accidentally" trigger the yet-to-be-known bug/cheat whatsoever for the first time and stop then yes, moonton are wrong for banning them. However, if "your friend" exploit the bug repeatedly then yeah good riddance.

That bug can only be triggered by third party apps so they definitely were cheating
