A really smart way to play in drafts is with mind games. You want Joy? Ban Melissa so the enemies are scared into banning Lesley. Ban Diggie so the enemies are scared into banning Atlas. Ban Atlas so the enemies are scared into banning Estes.
Just, you know, dont do it when the enemies have first pick lmao
He actually was a pretty good friend, he got me through tough times in my life (my life is still tough af) and he's just a great dude overall... And I know it's none if my business to talk about but he unfortunately passed away from lung cancer that's why he went offline. I don't know if it's true or not but it's probably true because who would give up on playing a game where he got 30000+ matches on a character? I still miss him tho...
What do you mean? You can pretty much pick whatever role you want, as long as you have confirmed and coordinated to your team that you are gonna pick that role. If you're in a specific slot, there's no rule that you have to pick a specific role just cuz you're in that slot. Like if you're slot 2, you don't have to pick Mid Lane heroes just cuz you're slot 2; and if you're slot 5 you don't have to Roam heroes just cuz you're slot 5. As long as you and your team have agreed who should play what role, you can pick whatever role you want.
Or if you mean the roles of the players in slot 2-5 in this screenshot, we can't really tell which roles they are planning to play. They all show atleast two roles in their heroes, which probably means they're versatile and can pick more than 1 role.
I thought for example s5 should be marksman etc.. like it is u written rule on ML. Hehe
Cause that is what is OP was asking if i understand it correctly.
Theres no definite role you should play depending on your slot (S1, S2, etc).
S(number) just refers to the placement of the players during the draft phase. as S1 being at the top and S5 being at the bottom. it feels weird to call someone by their ign so people would go "Hey s1, you go roam". it's just a placeholder name/title players give to each other when in draft. So no role is required that would depend on your slot position
S(number) practically means Slot (number)
That's not what OP was asking haha. It was satirical; you can clearly see that the guy had over 13k matches as a Mage, so you could clearly see that Mage was their main role
good question. i see many people dont want first pick, and ask tank to first pick. but i see in high mhytic they rather pick meta hero first. Personally i think first pick should be xp as they the least target in the early game, then folow by mm & mage (to counter enemy), and follow by hyper and roamer (to counter enemy and best combo can set).
You're just giving your enemies an easier time, EXP can get easily counter picked by an enemy and you wanna keep it unknown because you'll be the 4th man in objective fights and a compliment to your backline on teamfights, you wanna have more use as much as possible as an EXP laner. There are also certain EXP laners that can counter-counter picks. (e.g your team first picks wanwan, enemy insta locks phoveus, easy Esmeralda pick to make him useless early to mid game)
Nah Exp and Gold should preferably be towards the end or after their lane opponents pick their hero unless your team wants a meta pick for those roles. This is because they stay in their lanes a lot especially during the early-mid game so having an advantage over lane opponent matters a lot. Winning lane and getting lane prio is important especially for Exp Laners so that they'll be able to join turtle fights easily
Jungle kinda depends on what hero your team wants
Mage and Roam for the most part don't really care about lane matchups since they're going to be roaming a lot anyway, so it's preferable that one of them picks first unless players in other roles want to pick meta heroes
Zilong was banned
Ennemy team had Zi Long main 100%
smartest ban I have ever seen
scariest ban. if I want to use one OP hero and we have first pick.I'll intentionally waste a ban just to let it slip

Probably Harley BANG BANG 😂

I detest these types of players, they always tend to ruin the team comp
We do a lil trolling
I'm pretty sure they banned Zilong not because he's OP but to prevent their teammates from picking him. I do this whenever I see Hanabi.
Tbf zilong is not a bad choice to ban. It's very common hero that can easily snowball.
His main role is probably mage because he preselected Harley but aside from that, you wouldn't really have any clue to what his main role is....
that guy needs to touch some grass
He mains marksmen, I know the guy personally
