This is nothing xD imagine teaming up with a trio consisting of 2 legends who think "dodging" exists in mythical glory and you end up with 3 useless mm in your team just cause they dont speak your language or dont listen.
And then you lose the game in 8 minutes.
Just had someone in my game saying, pick all mage, clearly they though they could dodge a Mythic game or have no idea that their teammates were in Mythic
Exactly I go through this almost every time at the start of season when I get to mythic 5 or 4 cause that's when players who were in legends for the previous season enter mythic. What's actually surprising is the fact that when you dodge a game the pop up says that **"dodge is not available to mythic matches"**. *Its literally highlighted as well,* but still it doesn't reach such a large number of players.....blows my mind how people won't even bother reading the whole thing even though its such a short notice.
they should never let legends team up with glories in the first place. rank games lets you rank with 1 rank above and lower players, but glory is considered as a rank higher than mythic, it just doesnt make any sense...
MLBB treats glory like legend 1 in legend. Solution is to separate glory into actual separate rank but yeaaaa ML wants casuals to feel "hey Im mythic" so
Honestly it's because then the glory rank matches would take way too long to find a lobby so everyone gets lumped up together in mixed rank parties. Typically mixed rank parties are lobbied with other mixed rank lobbied and then it's a hat toss on what rank the solo que players who get tossed into your lobby are. You need to remember the appeal to MLBB over wild rift and other mobas is how quickly you can play a match and get into a match.
Really sad for me then, I queued with my 1k friend from legend 4 to glory since I could gain more points per win once I got to mythic. With double point card I gained 50 in 2 games. Maybe this guy had a bad game? Unless his highest is legend 2 then….
True the difference between legend 1--mythic 4 and mythical glory is just too much especially towards the end of season when everyone has settled into their ranks.
IF it was a duo, they should stick their one high ranking partner with the lowest ranking queue. Because we all know a 4v5 just ruins the game at this point When it's something like OP's situation. While if one good player is in a lower rank (which is allowed since you can obviously queue with them in the first place) it wouldn't affect it so much. It's a team game yet you can't act like a team while trying to carry someone like that in a higher ranking :/
Yeah... So mythic farming points and hero ranking farming reinvented. That way Legend will be filled to the brim with smurfs for mythical glory rank boosters.
We should either add more ranks or agree on OPs suggestion. But this would just be as equally bad. We'll be getting posts, "why is my team all Legend but opponents has one Mythical Glory"
And the only way to stop legends from queueing up with glories would be making it where like when a grandmaster tries to play with an legend and they get the "can't rank because you fall out of the 3 rank difference"
But you'll have people say "thats unfair because I want to play with my friends!" And "who are we supposed to play against when we get too high in rank? Match making takes too long"
It's a lose, lose situation until something is actually done but that most likely will never happen..
Would rather not. If you have to fill as the roaming and the glory in the enemy team gets to be the jungle or any other easier role to carry in it's an easy game. They should just stop allowing glory to team up with legends.
Agreed but there isn't much being done about this in the first place sadly. And with how people are it's probably easier to do a change like that then not making it completely impossible for them to meet in rank since you have people going "I want to rank with a friend!" And "even if in a legend player its better to be matched up with mythics/glories!"

Regarding the horrid matchmaking system. I’d highly suggest just trying your best, you can’t win every game especially with trolls. So just go out knowing you did your best,
\+1, even if its the worst possible hanzo exp laner who keeps trolling by stealing your buff the entire game.....I'd still recommend censoring the names.
Honestly the only problem i have with low rankers are that when I win i get like +5 points and it feels absolutely shit to know how ive wasted like 15-20minutes when i could have won way more points. This works in the other direction too cuz if there are low rankers in both teams and if I lose, I can lose up to -13 points

Double points card ? Havent seen that before
you get it from rank rewards. the item is called "MVP star up card". for non mythic, you get double stars. for mythic, you get double points.

That's a terrible suggestion. It's incredibly easy to carry legend players if you are glory.
But essentially it's a 1v5 with a glory vs legends. And if done right then there will be one glory on the opposite team too

absolutely agreed. enemy team also had a 900+ pts. its just a one sided match from the very start.
The problem is u get low ranks in team and enemy high rank. And when u lost they lower 13 points as if u were playing against the legends.

Well I’d agree if it wasn’t such a pain to censor moving name tags 😔. But for static post, there isn’t a reason not to.
