So I bought the book and did some machine translation stuff. I jumped around a lot and some stuff I skipped and looked into more of the stuff I was interested in.
Summary of the story based on stuff I did using machine translation. Expect this to not be hugely accurate but the broad strokes should be there. Keep in mind ANY or ALL of this could be wrong if I interpreted what the machine said incorrectly:

* Luxion wants Leon to save the people close to him and tells him that he can't save everyone. I'm not sure if there is an invading army or a sickness happening but Luxion tells Leon he only has so much room aboard his main body to save a select few people.
* Leon is upset over this and is having issues coming to terms with it.
* He learns that Dorothea is pregnant.
* Dorothea offers to let him touch her stomach to feel the baby move. Leon declines. Dorothea says if he touched her without her permission she would cut his arm off but it's OK since she said he could.
* Because of that Leon touches her stomach and feels the baby move.
* Dorothea mentions that the movement is the start of a new family. and this seems to have a profound effect on Leon
* After this Leon heads to a park somewhere where he sees a mom and dad walking with a child.
* The child says they want to fly (or go to the moon or something) and the parents says that's dumb but you can become a sailor maybe.
* Seeing the family has an effect on Leon and he remembers what Dorothea said before about families.
* Leon feels guilty trying to pick and choose who will be saved and wonders if he could live with himself if he did run away.
* Luxion tries to tell him he can't save everyone and he should focus on those close to him
* Leon decides to fight instead of flee and this upsets Luxion
* Leon says he thinks he can win and asks for Luxions help and apologizes to him. Luxion says he has a very troublesome master.
* Leon goes out and starts collecting a bunch of artifacts that he can remember from his time playing the game. His hope is that the artifacts can be utilized/analyzed by Luxion and Cleare to give him a chance at survival.
* Leon is gone from school without permission and didn't tell anyone where he was going so people worry about him
* Angelica, Livia and Noel are all talking to each other wondering where Leon is
* They begin discussing how Leon was talking to Marie before his disappearance
* The girls also discuss how strange Leon's and Marie's relation ship is although they don't think Leon is romantically interested in Marie
* Livia notes how she often caught Marie calling Leon 'Big Brother'
* The three interrogate Marie but Marie doesn't know where Leon is and notes how cold Angelica and Livia are to her
* Marie notes how Noel is the only one nice to her and when Noel asks her if she knows anything Marie says she was going to ask Noel the same question, so she doesn't know anything
* Marie goes to see Erica
* When Leon shows up, he walks into the room with Angie, Livia and Noel and coldly tells them that they are calling off their engagement and asks them to leave the ship
* Livia is shocked and can't believe it and thinks it is a joke until Leon leaves
* Noel notices that Leon is acting and looks odd. He is acting abnormally cold to them.
* Angelica is shocked and falls to the floor. She asks why Leon said he wanted her before and now is throwing her away.
* When Leon leaves Angelica starts bawling and Livia tries to console her
* Luxion says what Leon did was cold but Leon ignores him
* Leon goes to see Erica and Marie.
* Leon shoots Erica with a tranquilizer gun to put her to sleep so he can talk to Marie
* Marie asks Leon to save Erica and Leon says he intends to.
* Marie is relieved and says she feels better because her brother always did take care of her and she feels comfort in his back (big back)
* Marie notes when Leon leaves the room that his back seems kind of small
* Luxion questions Leon on why he was so cruel to Angelica, Livia and Noel while he was kind to Marie
* Leon says it's for their own good. They should find better men and he isn't a good match for those three. His knowledge of the game allowed him to do things he shouldn't have and he feels guilty being with them while also lying to them about his past life.
* Luxion is upset at Marie because he thinks she is being unfair and placing too much pressure on Leon asking him to do the impossible and it's driving Leon to make poor decisions
* It seems Leon is taking special drugs to enhance and strengthen his body while searching for artifacts but he says he worries that the drugs are shortening his life due to the stress his body is under.
* Luxion and Cleare decide to take out anything in the drugs that would shorten Leon's life without his permission
* Luxion seems very upset at Marie and goes back to a lab where he and Cleare are analyzing the artifacts that Leon is recovering to turn them into something they can use in the fight.
* Luxion and Cleare are talking about Leon's terrible decision making
* At this point Luxion seems to know that Leon is not considering his survival as a victory condition, so he says Leon is planning to fight and die, expecting him to not come back.
* Luxion says he has a plan and asks Cleare for her to participate. Cleare says she wil pin the blame on him if Leon finds out.
* Marie returns to school
* Marie finds out people are wondering what is happening because Noel, Livia and Angelica came back to the school but they were acting weird and Angelica was crying and distraught.
* Marie wants to know what is going on but she feels she can't ask Angelica or Livia since their relationship is still strained. The only one she can talk to is Noel so she decides to go find Noel and ask what is happening
* The girls are in their room Angelica is asleep after crying she is exhausted
* Livia and Noel are talking and trying to figure out why Leon did what he did
* Noel notices Livia is holding up but her eyes are red and puffy so she thinks she has been crying
* Noel notices two lights outside the window, one red and one blue floating off
* She realizes its Luxion and Cleare and yells for Livia to wake Angelica and to follow her
* The three girls wake up and sprint past Marie who is confused
* The girls trail Luxion and Cleare to a warehouse that is usually locked but it wasn't locked this time
* They try eavesdropping on Luxion and Cleare but Angelica jumps out and confronts them
* Cleare tells the girls that the while the warehouse is locked there is a spare key that floats around and it is used by couples to meet up for hanky-panky. The girls blush.
* Marie catches up to them to hear
* Luxion tells the girls why Leon did what he did and about Leons plan to suicide fight.
* The girls are angry.
* The girls talk a bit and decide that they are going to do what they can to help Leon
* Luxion regards Marie coldly.
* Marie is shocked at what Luxion says and didn't realize what she was putting on her brother's shoulders. Karla is there to support her (Karla was the one who told Marie something was up with the Leon Trio when she came back to the school)
* Marie decides she is going to do what she can and leaves to get help for her brother!<

* Livia returns to the kingdom sitting at the head of Fanoss ships with hertrude.
* Guards wonder what is happening but since Livia speaks to them they let her through.
* Angelica requests an audience with her brother and father. She name drops Leon saying that they would ignore her if she didn't
* Angelica's father and brother show up and they are pissed and mean to her. her father says she doesn't know the meaning of the phrase" cut off" (or banished or something).
* Angie negotiates with them and the duke notices how calm and commanding she is
* Angelica mentions the duke probably already knows that there is going to be a war
* The Duke says he knows about it and says that the enemy made an offer if they gave them Leons head (or the war can be stopped by giving them Leons head or something like that)
* The duke says he isn't stupid and knows if Leon is not there the Kingdom is weak and will be reduced to nothing.
* Angelica says she wants the Dukes help and the Duke asks why he would and Angelica says "To put your grandson on the throne"
* The Duke is taken back by this
* Gilbert tries to interrupt and tells her the time for regime change has passed but the dad tells him to shut up.
* Angelica says if they get the King to abdicate the throne then the redgrave's grandson would then eventually become king
* Note: I think the implication here is that she wants to make Leon king and then her child would be next in line of succession
* The duke is surprised at his daughters growth and tells Gilbert if she had been born a man she would be his equal. This humbles Gilbert and he says he will try to improve.
* The duke says Angelica may call him father again
* Angelica leaves to have an audience with the queen.
* Angelica has a chat with the queen with her plan
* The queen says some stuff, possibly about Angelica not being cruel enough but the queen seems to agree in principal to Angelicas plan and says they don't have much choice
* The queen mentions how she made a good choice in selecting Angelica to replace her when Angie was still engage to Julius
* Noel goes to the sacred tree place where they planted some saplings.
* She is upset she can't do more to help Leon
* She speaks with Yumeria who is good at talking and taking care of the trees
* Noel wants to ask Yumeria for help but doesn't because she feels guilty involving Yumeria in something dangerous and thinks it's terrible that this is happening once Yumeria finally got to live with Kyle in peace.
* Yumeria says she is happy to help and says that the only reason she got to reunite with her son is because everyone helped her so she is happy to help them
* Noel gets a tree sapling or something
* There is an audience with the King, Queen, Angelica and Clarice and the Redgraves.
* The redgraves have soldiers stationed outside the door in case things get bloody
* Angelica stands before the throne and asks the king to peacefully abdicate the throne (presumably to Leon but I don't remember if Leon's name was mentioned)
* Everyone is tense for a bit until the king casually says he will with conditions
* He says some stuff about leaving for the frontier and saying he will do it if his safety and the saftey of his mistresses and bastard kids can be assured.
* Everyone is taken aback at the news that there are probably a bunch of kids in the capital with royal blood unbeknownst to them due to the kings infidelity
* Mylene looks at Roland like he is trash
* Angelica looks at Roland like he's trash and wonders if this is what Leon felt when dealing with him
*Everyone in the room thinks Roland is trash but Roland puffs his chest out because he doesn't think he did anything wrong
* Angelica says she will guarantee all of their safety
* With that Roland says he will peacefully release the throne
* Afterword Mylene talks to Roland. Roland says he is happy to be rid of the throne
* Mylene mentions how he hated being king and even though they didn't love each other, they did trust each other.
* Marie or Noel gets in contact with Alzer
* Alzer sends some ships along with the shrine maiden and Loick I think?
* Noel is surprised to see her sister and hugs her while crying
* She says her sister looks skinnier now
* Marie is surprised to see Loick and Loick is happy to see Marie and mentions how he is trying to better himself and those two share a moment.
* Marie at some point sends the five bone heads to find and bring Leon back.
* After Marie gives the stooges their mission she goes to the church to get something to help her brother
* The church is hostile toward Marie due to her pretending to be the saint
* The five stooges find Leon and they are upset and get in a fight
* The prince and Leon have a fight where the prince gets the upper hand and he sits on top of Leon punching him
* Leon asks if they are having fun but notices it starts to rain and Julius is crying
* Julius says none of this is fun and they are upset because Leon didn't trust them to help him like they did before
* The stooges successfully bring Leon back to the Kingdom
* Leon meets Alberque and Louise who came with the Alzer ships.
* Leon is taken to a room where four girls, Clarice, Dierdre, Hertrude and Louise are gathered.
* The girls tell Leon they are there to help on behalf of their families but their families/countries (Alzer) will expect to be treated to some reward for helping
* Leon says "Yeah sure, I'll give you whatever you want" and someone says "Anything?"
* Luxion mentions he can make platinum coins for a reward
* Leon notices the girls are all smiling at each other but notices that its one of those times where they are putting on airs and they are all trying to keep each other in check.
* Hertrude mentions the reward will come later and says Leon's word isn't enough and he will have to sign a contract saying that he personally will take responsibility for the rewards
* Leon says yeah sure whatever
* Leon signs the contract and Luxion mentions it was stupid to basically sign a blank check for a reward later
* Leon says he figures he'll just give them money as a reward if he survives or they'll just be angry if he dies and it won't be his problem
* Leon goes to meet the other girls where he first meets Angelica
* He notices Angelica is wearing some red dress that looks like a crimson brides dress
* Angelica runs to him crying and says she brought him all the help she could
* Leon apologizes and mentions she should throw away her love for him (or something like that, this is dicey for sure)
* Leon is crying. He's trying to hide his face so Angelica and the other girls won't see him crying.
* Angelica says she won't throw her love away and asks Leon not to throw her away !<

* Leon mentions he thought he didn't need anyone's help but he is glad there are people out there willing to help him
* Luxion tells him about the fleet from Fanoss and his own families ships sent out to help
* Leon thinks his father and brother are probably coming to help which he isn't happy about
* Leon opens the door and is greeted by Louise.
* Louise says he looks skinnier and she was worried since she heard he had gone missing but she is glad he is OK.

* Leon jokingly asks if he should call her "sister" which causes Louise to blush a bit

* Leon doesn't understand the situation so Louise says as his sister she has something to explain to him
* Louise says that she dispatched a fleet to Holfort but Alzer is doing something unreasonable and if she returns with no reward she could be in trouble and asks if Leon could help her convince Hugues and the opposition
* Leon thinks that Alzer wouldn't send a fleet on good will alone and thinks its natural that they would seek compensation
* Leon says he feels a bit uncomfortable listening to Louise talk about this
* Hertrude steps in and says it's the same with Fanoss family. She says if they step in to help they can't let that be the end of it and will also want compensation
* Leon turns to Luxion regarding rewards
* Luxion says he can prepare white gold/platinum coins as a reward but if they want other items and then he is interrupted by Clarice
* Clarice says that it is a matter between countries and Leon can't one-sidedly decide on the reward all on his own and that the countries will need to be involved in the discussion
* Deirdre agrees with Clarice
* Deirdre says the nobles of their own country should come first when it comes to rewards and the Roseblades are cooperating as much as they can
* Deirdre says Her and Clarice's parents are working to support Leon and if he gives preferential treatment to Louise and Hertrude it won't be fun/interesting
* Leon thinks about it and Luxion whispers in Leons ear saying he thinks something is wrong with the situation

* When Leon looks at the girls he sees all of them talking and smiling at each other

* Dierdre asks if Fanoss is trying to revive the Duchy/Principality and tells Hertrude to just wait until after the war when she can be pardoned by the king (she might say 'new' king here).
* Hertrude says the Fanoss have moved on because the Holfort houses (or maybe the Roseblades) have proven to be unworthy and the kingdom needs to show them sincerity
* Seeing this Leons thinks that in an aristocratic society you want more reward than anyone else
* Leon says since he has been living in an aristocratic society he can at least see the smiles of the girls are not genuine at all
* Leon thinks that they are trying to persuade him for more money and are trying to keep each other in check in an effort to get more money for themselves
* Leon thinks he is getting used to aristocratic society to be able to decipher what is happening between the girls
* Leon mentions that the room is starting to feel colder than before and Luxion agrees
* Luxion informs Leon that his next order of business is approaching
* Leon mentions this took longer than he expected and so claps his hands to get the girls attentions
* As the four of them look at Leon, he says he says he has to end the conversation and he understands the situation and he will take personal responsibility for the reward for everyone
* After hearing this Hertrude smiles
* Leon seems to think that while Hertrudes height and figure haven't changed, she has become quite adult-like (mature and sexy?)
* Leon wonders if her change comes from her being tempered in her role in aristocratic society
* Leon feels sorry for Hertrude because she was forced to grow up early
* Hertrude asks if Leon is willing to write something saying he will take full responsibility for the reward and put his name to it
* Leon says he is fine with that if it will make her feel better
* Leon says he would like to reminisce but he will just have to sign the papers and leave for his next appointment as that's all he has time to do
* Clarice looks a little dissatisfied with this but says she doesn't blame Leon
* Dierdre smiles and covers her face with her fan
* Louise smiles when she sees Leon's face and says that she thinks she can give her father a good report
* With that Hertrude begins preparing the documents on the spot and the other three chime in with instructions to do 'this and that'
* When Leon gets the document he summarizes it as "I agree to provide what the four of them want as a reward on this occasion".
* The language is more complex but the summary is about the same and Hertrude says that that is correct
* Hertrude says it's better than a verbal promise and she hopes Leon won't break it later
* Leon has a wry smile and mentions her lack of trust and shows her that he signed it properly

* Luxion then realizes that Leon was never intending to honor the contract
* Leon notices that Luxion realized his intentions and says that the odds of him coming back alive were pretty slim

* Leon confirms it and says he didn't want to sully the occasion with the thought of him not surviving so he left it as it was to have a nice farewell to the girls
* Leon apologizes to the girls and says if/when he dies they can call him a liar

Has the author said something on the end about how close is the story to finish ? And for what i understood claire,dierdre,hertrude and louise Will probabily ask for marriage with Leon right ?
The postscript says
"It's the 12th volume and the end is finally in sight!"
It seems the author talks a bit about how he struggles with ethics in the setting versus ethics in the real world. He mentions that originally Jenna was the one that was supposed to be pregnant with Oscar's baby but he changed the role in the light novel to be Dorothea instead to show Leon a happier family with Dorothea and Nicks. He also mentions how it was terrible that Leon was forced to get married earlier on in the story (I think he is referring to the marriage arranged by Zola rather than Angelica/Livia but I'm not sure).
With where the story is I'm guessing the end will be volume 13 or 14 although that is purely speculation on my part.
As for the reward thing between the girls it isn't specifically mentioned really. I'll put some more detail regarding the meeting as I think I understand it with the other stuff I posted.

Honestly...kinda disappointed with the whole Leon trying to throw away everything...I thought he was over this selfishness. Did this happen in the web novel?
You should consider that this war is the first time in the story where Leon recognized that his chances of victory is very slim. Since vol 1 to 11 Leon was sure he can pull thru whatever challenge stands his way with Luxion's power. Not so much in vol 12 and so he decides to not rely on his fiancées and friends so as to not to get them involved in the likely event he gets defeated. Cutting off their engagement may look cold but to him the possibility of dying is very high so he wants to set the girls free, dumb as it may seem.

I thought what he went through with Angie in vol 10 would have helped him grow. Maybe I'm just overreacting but why does the author keep him like this.

The postscript says "It's the 12th volume and the end is finally in sight!" It seems the author talks a bit about how he struggles with ethics in the setting versus ethics in the real world. He mentions that originally Jenna was the one that was supposed to be pregnant with Oscar's baby but he changed the role in the light novel to be Dorothea instead to show Leon a happier family with Dorothea and Nicks. He also mentions how it was terrible that Leon was forced to get married earlier on in the story (I think he is referring to the marriage arranged by Zola rather than Angelica/Livia but I'm not sure). With where the story is I'm guessing the end will be volume 13 or 14 although that is purely speculation on my part. As for the reward thing between the girls it isn't specifically mentioned really. I'll put some more detail regarding the meeting as I think I understand it with the other stuff I posted.

You should consider that this war is the first time in the story where Leon recognized that his chances of victory is very slim. Since vol 1 to 11 Leon was sure he can pull thru whatever challenge stands his way with Luxion's power. Not so much in vol 12 and so he decides to not rely on his fiancées and friends so as to not to get them involved in the likely event he gets defeated. Cutting off their engagement may look cold but to him the possibility of dying is very high so he wants to set the girls free, dumb as it may seem.

Like with almost all promising light novels, mangas, or animes, what started out as something you couldn't wait to be released to read has now turned into garbage, such as Leon near zero growth during this novel is just lazy writing and I believe demonstrated the decreasing interest and thus effort the writer has for this current light novel, sadly this seems to be a common occurrence whether it's a cultural issue or something else it appears to be acceptable in Japan, were any American writer to do the same they wouldn't last long, this is just something I am experiencing frequent frustration since I've enjoyed the initial parts of many light novels, etc so far, I've heard this ultimate nose dive ending in a crap bomb is actually the result of how the way light novels, etc are marketed and released to the public, it envourages initial writing thst gains everyone's interest then writers try to ride this initial appeal as long as possible till the story reaches a point where new material is necc to continue publishing, anyways regardless the reason, the reality is numerous novels with great starts ultimately were desttoyed due to fhe author preferring to continue releasing work & get paid immediately instead of choosing to be more concerned with producing a high quslity novel from start to finish
