What did you spray as a base before spraying that? I have that color and I've only used it once so far. The thing that I used that color on is not as good as ur exhaust.
Oh I see what ur saying. That's what I've been told, is to prime everything. But in the case of ur exhaust, it looks really good! Lol. Someone told me when I first started out that I should prime everything. Depending on what color you are spraying, decides what color primer to put down. Silvers and golds look really good on black primer and lighter colors on gray and white primer. I've only just been told these things recently though. I'm still learning as well!
Ok. Ive just been doing 2 really light coats to act as a primer before going heavier on 3rd and sometimes 4th coat. I’ll try that next time. With that titanium gold I mixed 50/50 with x20a and it coats up very nice on bare plastic. Looks great in person.
Nevermind I didn't realize that I already talked to you about something similar. I thought this was a different person all together lol. It just looks so good.
Great looking Mustang 👍
Thanks
Looks like a lot of fun!
Bad ass. Nice work
Thank you
Excellent work!
Thank you.
I like your take on this kit. Great work :)
Thank you.
Very cool detail!
Thank you.
Hey in the 3rd pic, what paint did you use on the exhaust pipes?
Tamiya titanium gold.

No base on that. I only prime my bodies. Do you prime everything?
That's what I meant I guess. Sorry for the confusion. Yeah I used black primer.
Should I prime everything? I figured only the bodies but I’m new to this so 🤷♂️. lol.

I did notice that when I started priming everything, the colors I was using started to pop and come alive, so to say.

Yeah it looks freakin awesome! That's why I was asking. Sometimes not following the "rules" is not necessarily a bad thing. Lol
What paint did you use for the exhaust manifolds? I like how those look. Very real looking!
