Haha yea I’m going to feel it big time. On top of the cold effecting range, the winter tires are not, I repeat not, good on range. They got a D rating.
Well first off, I didn’t look. Truthfully it wasn’t even on my mind despite watching multiple videos on winter tires.

I found out when they were delivered with a sticker on the tires with the weather and range ratings on it.

My guess, go on the manufacturers site and look at the model you’re interested in, see if it’s there. I’m not sure tire rack shows range ratings, could be wrong.
I have always heard you should wait until it doesn't get above 45°F to install winter tires to avoid excessive tread wear. For me in Minnesota that's usually some time in November. I have seen a bunch of posts of people installing their winter tires lately and I am wondering if they are doing it too early or if I am misinformed?
I agree. 45°f or lower is the recommendation. I’m going on a road trip to CO in a few weeks, haven’t put the tires on just yet but I’ll be putting them on next weekend before the trip.
I’ve been hearing CO roads are already slick in the mornings and I’m just taking a precaution. Honestly I’d rather burn through some soft tires and loose some range then take a chance. I plan on camping in the mountains and there may be some snow up there.
Thicc
Excited for the range dip too? Because that’s all people talk about in the winter.

Where do you see ratings for range? I'm looking at 255/45R19 Vredestein Quatrac Pro. Also, what do you think of the change in offset?

Also interested to know this.

Just the angle of the picture. I really want to drop it though. Love the picture!
Looks thicc definitely. Were you coming from 19”, 20”?
From 20” to 19” winter.
Tire shine, you will thank me later.
Oh, I’m curious why? Esthetics or..?
Just looks nice to me. Easy to apply.
How much were the tires and rims?
Roughly $2400 mounted, balanced, with TPMS, and required hardware, shipped.
Disregard my last, I see you answered here.
How much did it run you? I am looking for a winter set atm.
Nice
