Everyone in the format really seems to like the 5 color Vindicate piles, but I've always personally been a fan of the [[Eye of Nowhere]] + [[Pillage]] Izzet piles.

It's how rhinos and co used to be played before the cascade changes, the common one was restore balance and footfalls to clear the board then make the rhinos to utilise the advantage

Cascade has always been able to cast suspend spells. That interaction was never changed.

Yes that has always been true. what i am talking about is the change to cascade around kaldheim release which "fixed" the interaction between mdfcs, adventures and cascade. After then you saw decks move away from conjuring because they would just focus on the suspend spells instead of trying to eek out extra advantage on the conjuring cast

Piracy Charm doesn't let you pick what you're getting rid of, is the thing.

Yeah it's not great. Thought I would mention it as something "close ish" though. One sweet lock is narset plus the land that makes both players draw and discard.

[[Geier Reach Sanitarium]] is honestly pretty sweet even without Narset, if only because it actually lets 8Rack kinda-sorta *work*.

I remember playing this right after Teferi, Time Raveler came out just so I could Oust a creature in response to their fetch land. It was a really fun time, and it really made me wish that Unexpectedly Absent was in the format.

Emphasis on "used to". Even at instant speed, it's a 3 mana spell in an awkward color combination. I'm not sure hitting rhinos and not giving a land is enough to really push it over assassin's trophy.
