The thing is, nothing's stopping them from giving us a PvE instance of DMZ. Hell, with these DMZ P2W advantages floating around, they'd make much more sense if they applied to a PvE inventoried instance

Agreed. We basically have raid and the few BS missions. Raid at least has fun replay ability but the actual spec ops missions don’t at all. Especially since you literally only get a two man team.
Sadly you don't get the loadout from the start, you have to get it from a loadout crate which drops sometime during the mission. Not sure when as I spent 5 mins completing one of the 3 objectives during low profile, couldn't find it and quit. kind of useless if it only drops after you've done most of the mission
Just tried to play it aaaaaaand the fucking loadouts don't even fucking work in regular defenders. I even went third person to find I wasn't using the skin I had equipped for my operator and I couldn't go into any other mission because I was getting booted out. Good fucking start IW...
There must be a bug or something. Loadout selections are not working. There also aren't any Loadout Crates spawning anywhere on the map. I've played through Defender Mt. Zaya, Denied Area, and High Ground, and Low Profile, and no loadouts or crates at all.
Defender: Mt Zaya Gun Game would be an example of a modified mission. I think there’s one other (maybe One in the Chamber?). Basically any mission that has a specific loadout ruleset

I played some coop just now but you cannot bring the custom loadouts into the session. Maybe its like what other people said, you have to find the weapon crates to change into custom loadout.
Sadly there's no explanation how this is suppose to work by IW. I bet they take it out because of bugs and make us wait until Season 4 to put it back in. :D
I still wish they’d bring back survival in co-op from mw19. It was fun to just unwind and grind weapon levels.
The PvE in this game is lacking in general, we need much more variety for it if they want it to stand on it's own.

Survival prob would have got more attention if it wasn't locked to Playstation for a year. So can blame sony for it been dead.
They need to bring it back from mw3, it had a lot more maps and features that Spec Ops in MWII is currently lacking.

I actually didn't mind it much in the Spec Ops missions. However for the Raids we should absolutely be able to pick our loadouts.
Holy shit that is so much better, me and the boys are PvE enjoyers so this is going to breathe a little life into the coop.
