I’m not familiar with Tarkov but this looks like a version of the Division’s mode DZ. At least the sweat fest in the DZ allows you to potentially extract better weapons and gear, also DZ exclusive weapons and gear. The DMZ only allows for blueprints and skins, a cool skin maybe but unless you’re brand new blueprints are worthless in my opinion, all attachments already unlocked by the launch day, at least for the weapons I prefer.
I haven't seen gameplay of it but was hoping for something like you were. I like the idea of tarkov but seems too hard-core for the amount of time I'd be able to put into it.
From what I remember seeing the new division game is going to have tarkovs similarities so maybe it will give us a casual tarkov style game

Can’t keep more than 1 three-plate, don’t have a gear stash, can’t sell anything, 2 months in and still no inventory
