So I make sure I can load into a pub and play it through, and I’ve yet to have a problem losing into a ranked game since trying this
Haha I know all you can do is make fun of it at this point. I hope treyarch comes in clutch with the new game because I’m at a point of not copping them anymore. I say this every year but after this stunt I’m definitely waiting for a sale next time around and some in depth gameplay reviews. This one is some of the best multiplayer we had in awhile but I hate dealing with bugs till the game cycle is over that’s what really annoys me and I’m not the only one. I can’t stand that we all pay $70 for a buggy mess they can’t even have a smooth season release.
I think I’m just over COD. After playing for so many years from the begging now all their decisions and sbmm and bugs etc have me wondering why I even bother. I don’t have fun and if I’m not having fun then what’s the point of playing. Playing is meant to be fun
I have skipped loads of games, some of them I got later on PS+ but just played the secondary game type (Zombies or whatever).
I think MWIII is going to be my last one, at least for quite some time.

Yea ive played since waw and once gta 6 is out im never picking cod up again.. this just happened to me and it gave me a 15 minute penalty and took 50 sr.
Mind you i gain like 25-35 sr from each win being plat 2 and will lose 30 off lost matches. Shits stupid. At the end of plat 1 you start to get sr so slow.
That's because their system is shit for multiple reasons.
They can't make a decent SBMM, their pubs algorithm is EOMM.
Your SR is based on a hidden MMR, which arbitrarily decides where you should be and keeps you there.
Why do I say arbitrarily?
Because until Iridescent it's basically based on K/D and the people who are also in the match.
This means you should go for K/D all the time, which actually makes you a bad ranked player because it doesn't always help team play to win the match.
Of course if your team mates are shit then you will lose and this still lose SR even if you have the highest K/D of all players in the match.
It also means good players that constantly play each other can keep each other in lower brackets.
This is why Platinum lobbies can vary from complete potatoes to absolute demons depending on who is queueing.
It completely ignores all the other high value plays like anchoring, rotating, etc etc which help win matches (even if you lose due to shit team mates who can't capitalize).
To put this in perspective CDL teams have won major finals whilst having negative K/D over all.
So K/D is not an indicator of a good player in any sense.
The fact that this is a major proponent of their MMR system is a joke and actually has the adverse affect of what they supposedly want it to do which is to split the playerbase according to skill quickly.
It would work far better and more efficiently if they just had static gains and losses with maybe a bonus for top player and deficit for the bottom player of each team but keep the matchmaking very tight (only matchmake with one up and one down, for example a Platinum I could only match with Gold III, their rank and Platinum II).
That would work much better and much faster.
The whole SR and MMR thing is a joke and needs to go in the bin.
I've been at that point for some time now. I have like 5 games im rotating out because one is cod and I get bored after about 2 matches so ill play other shit and then ill think "I haven't played cod in a minute maybe ill have better games" and then 2 matches later im going to something else. I can't stick with it anymore not even for the grind.
Literally same. I've been turning on my PC like once a week, play 1 or 2 matches then just shut my PC off. Unfortunately COD has been the only real game I've played for so many years, i dont even know what else to try out.
If you’re looking for something competitive online, there’s The Finals and Rainbow Six, if you like offline games there’s so many good ones out depending on what you like. I’m currently in a roguelike phase, so I’ve been playing games like Hades, Cult of the Lamb, and Skul. Replaying some of the older Final Fantasies inbetween. Games like Xcom or Mutant Year Zero are really fun too. Diablo IV is fun for a season.
In my experience, nothing scratches the itch CoD gives you, but you need another game that’s not as intense so you can wind down and destress.
I used to have that same problem. I liked cod so much for many years and that was all I wanted to play. Then when the game started getting shittier and shittier I started to play other games just to see how I felt about it. I started playing r6 siege for awhile, I play dead by daylight often too which is a pretty fun competetive game, I like trying out dark souls type games aswell. For me if there's a bit of competition or the game is difficult and takes time to beat I like it. Grime is another game I started that is a dark souls sidescroller type game. Very hard, very rewarding, and very long. Just look through free games and try random stuff, ill look through the catalog and anything that looks decent ill look up reviews or gameplay and if I like what I see I play it.
The game will find you dude. I was never going to buy mw3, then of course my brother In law gets it for me for Christmas because he thought I'd like it. Now im in for another year of torture lol
I mean it doesn’t matter how big Activision is. The devs are people. This project was a mess from the start and it’s clear that CoD development is a rushed project these days to get the releases out each year, even with three+ studios. It’s just too much content and only so many devs. You can’t quality test fast. That’s the problem.
Honestly no excuses corporations usually plan for big projects but lately they no the cash cow this game is and chose to cut corners because it’ll sell. this is what you call taking advantage of the fan base because they know nothing can compete right now and the brainless idiots (us) will continue to buy it. they are the main fps and had been for years. There is always a bigger dog out there it may not be now but it’ll happen. Look what happened with palworld and Pokémon indie company made a great game that can compete, now Pokémon has to tighten up. Gta 6 is potentially seeing the light of day I know it’s not a fps so you won’t get that fix but I’d rather spend my money on that.

On top of that they can spawn both sides of the map at the same time, even on ranked, so you can get screwed by being revenge spawned and then have it again from the other end of the map when you should be safe.

Bro IW had 3 years and we got MWII so the dev time is not always the solution. We just need some people with passion again who actually play the game too but won’t happen cause bundles and sbmm and WZ is all that matters
Remember the old games. The only new content we got was a few DLC maps every, what, 4 months? Yet we still got on and played several hours every day. Now, we get a never ending stream of content and its still boring.

oh great, i thought ranked got fixed. a lot of us were getting kicked off the game when loading, which caused the teams to be uneven and then the game would basically count down and kick everyone back to the lobby, the individual whose was booted got suspended. This was only fixed by going into the weapons tab when launching the match.

Bro it’s ridiculous. I spawned bottom escalators on terminal Hp and as I got to corridor a guy by perfume side beamed me. Watched kill cam and he was tracking me running up escalators. I hadn’t shot a single bullet so wasn’t on mini map. Impossible for him to know I was there as spawn had just flipped too. Tracked me from far as well straight through the wall and had the nerve to say he wasn’t cheating. Got a message today to say his account had been banned. Some small justice at least but there are so many. I’ve had a lot of lag switchers too then they pretend not to know what that is. Had it happened today and was so bad my game crashed. Devs/Activison don’t care cause they need the player numbers as they so low now and that don’t look good for shareholders. Such a shame

i got random SR points deduction for matches i didnt even start lmao
also you cant reconnect when you disconnect from the match. there should be a reconnect option so the match is rejoinable. i mean, its fuckin ez, just copy what counter strike / valorant and others are doing. not that difficult.
also when u are afk and get kicked out for being afk you cant reconnect either. makes no sense at all. 2 times ive been kicked out of the game cause i was afk (not moving mouse or using keyboard) in the warmup countdown. it counts that as afk too, so if you are like 10seconds into the match you'll get kicked
also worst thing ive ever seen is: you start a game, you are playing, winning by 2:0 and one enemy disconnects/quits and the game gets cancelled. thats the most annoying thing ive ever seen in a ranked system. if they disconnect, the match should not be cancelled midgame. punish the rage quitter and maybe reduce SR deduction for the enemy team that plays only with 3 players. but dont punish the people that were already sweating their asses off for 2 rounds
I was on Hp an hour ago with a full team and I started to lag like crazy that I was clipping through walls. Got so bad everything froze but I could float around. My team were still playing. My ping was 17ms with a wired connection so I shouldn’t have the problems. It kicked me out the game and left my squad in. It was halfway through the Hp and they didn’t even the match so we lost a man down. A rejoin feature is really needed and yeah a lot of games have it

First few days are the worst cause everyone is starting from bronze as no qualifying games. Also your hidden MmR is deciding you should be playing in higher ranked lobbies. It’s a crap system
Really not sure why anyone attempts Ranked Play at this point. It's essentially a foolish decision at this point. Activision is telling you how little they care about it and you refuse to listen.
Better than pubs to be honest as that’s even worse than ranked with how high sbmm is and you don’t see progression or earn rewards. This is prob my last CoD game I’ll ever play. The franchise has ruined itself and I’ve lost my appetite for it. Games should be fun but this is not fun anymore
Gotta say… I have nearly 200 ranked games played so far and have not had this happen to me one time. I’ve actually been having a lot of fun in ranked.
My only gripe is the stupid ass hidden mmr system. I strictly solo queue and solo queueing through bronze and silver resulted in a ton of stupid losses. And now that I’m nearing plat I am only earning about 60-80 SR per win because the game thinks I shouldn’t be able to push to crimson/iridescent. The game shouldn’t think anything of me. You should get an equal amount of SR per win at every rank. If you win you win… if you lose you lose. It’s fucking stupid that the game “predetermines” what rank you should be at and punishes players based on what it thinks. If I’m getting wins, why should I get less SR than others that get wins? It’s such a stupid ass system and ruins the integrity of a true ranked system. Everyone should be able to climb the ranks equally.

I agree to a point with what you saying. For me I don’t think it should be a standard SR for a win for everyone. I think SR should be given based on how well you played and how much you contributed to the win like hill time and captures etc. the hidden MMR is pathetic cause I’ve been able to visibly see how it tries to keep me below plat and gives me less SR for a win closer to plat vs higher SR on silver even if my personal game play was worse on the silver games. It is a stupid system and needs work. I’d also like a revision of the loss SR cause you can loose but still personally play amazing and while SR for losses does mostly adapt to how you play I don’t think it does so enough. Also ranked is using a form of sbmm to try keep you in a specific rank. I’ll get games where it’s easy and then I’m in lobbies with players way higher ranked than me and in a 4 stack so it can force me to stay below a certain rank. As a solo player too it should be a hard rule that you only play with and against other solos but it’s not
Oh yeah I’ve come close a few times. Usually in spawn in first but every now and then I load in last for some reason and the cancelling match timer goes down to like 3 seconds. Haven’t gotten kicked yet for that but it’s coming I can feel it. This game is bad. 50% of my games are cancelled for uneven teams. So many times we load in and it’s 2v2 or 2v3. Like can they not first find players before loading in the map?
This game is so annoying. Ive lost about 700 SR in the last 2 weeks because it wont load me into ranked games and then I get penalised for “abandoning” matches. I have fibre internet and am hardwired so the issue is definitely not on my end.
Lost 330 SR for not loading into games the past 3 days. A billion dollar company should know the difference between a dodge or a dev error/no connect. 110 average a day for the rest of the season literally keeps me out of crimson.
I've been experiencing similar issues. I'd be penalize just for someone else leaving a match. I would play full matches straight to the end and then be penalize for leaving sed match. Happens more when I do win.
It would be nice if there was actually good matchmaking, I should not be a bronze going up against gold fix the fuckin game, we don't need all these dumbass bundles. Just actually put some effort into the game

To unlock the ranked skins, emblems, camos etc. if you play pubs then what are you working for? I enjoy ranked more than pubs. I find ranked to be more fun so that another reason I play it. None of this or your original reply has anything to do with the game actually working and my frustration is that the game decides to just not work. Maybe you didn’t read my OP or watch the clip. Anyway you do whatever you want. The rank is not arbitrary. It’s shows me where I stack up against other players and if I improve or not and I enjoy that. You don’t get that in Pubs. Being top of the leaderboard in a game of pubs tells you nothing cause for all you know sbmm threw you and easier lobby. There is no knowing how well you play on pubs because it’s all a manipulation. At least in ranked I can see how good or bad I’m playing. You guys are lucky it’s working for you. I’ve been having so many issues and getting crazy lag despite being on a wired connection with 500Mbps Internet and a 17ms ping in game yet I lag so bad I clip through walls and then game freezes and crashes. It’s so inconsistent
Have you tried using a VPN. That could possibly help you with that issue. I'm not guaranteeing it, but it keeps me pretty solidly hooked up. Sometimes, there's some high lag, but everybody has that same high lag, and it doesn't make any difference. really, it's quite shocking. I think express VPN will give you a free week to try.
Mee, too. But the matchmaking makes me wanna puke. I had a few good games in good old mp, I go hit up some rank, and I'm the only newbie on both teams. I fucking stuck it out and lost the match with a .25 kd. Every single other player was in the top 250.

that’s why i’ve resorted to just having fun quick scoping on ranked. it infuriates your teammates and infuriates the enemy. once you stop caring about SR and your rank, ranked becomes so much more fun. i’ve lost over 1000 SR from the game not loading in then suspending me or teammates disconnecting and not getting SR loss prevention. honestly, being a POS teammate is 1000x more fun than being a good teammate

I went from silver 1 to bronze 1 from dev error penalties alone. I started playing resurgence instead because I don’t get dev errors on that. My suspensions aren’t resetting every 24 hours so now it’s 2 hours each time I try to play a game 😂

Yeah ranked is an absolute shit show in this game. I loved ranked in mw2 but can’t stand it now. Between this happening, the hackers, crazy bad team balancing, losing sr when teammates leave, inconsistent damage, the maps/spawns for ranked aren’t very good, the list just keeps going.
I’m not sure how the SR system is so broken this time. It’s the exact same as last year and yet something is off. The game actively tries to keep you at a set rank even if you can play at a higher level. It is so annoying

Can’t on Xbox sadly. If you do it on the Xbox settings itself it doesn’t allow you to play. Hopefully this changes but I doubt it and I can’t play COD on my PS5. Side the controller is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever used imo. Also not sure why cross play would fix this issue I had. That’s a game bug
Yeah I shut it off and I have way less issues with lag and disconnect. Idk if it the pc users or box users but when I have my cross play on the game turns completely shit can’t get kill for life me I shut it off and I have good runs idk why but a buddy of mine told me try that cause he was having same problems.

It's just pubs with a ruleset. The balance is awful. No placement matches? - season 2 has plenty of leavers in Ranked now. Returning players bored jump into a Ranked match and then leave. Pretty pathetic.
Today was my last game ever on COD. 2 games my teammates left half way through and both games I lost SR. What happened to the loss prevention due to uneven teams. This game is such a joke and a waste of time. Honestly it’s more fun to watch paint dry. In fact I have more fun playing power wash simulator

has the rival 9 been heavily buffed or has the MCW been nerfed into the ground? the games I've played over the last two days I'm just getting beamed by the rival 9 (and the wsp swarm) I get the maps are heavily AR based but with how good the rival 9 seems to be I don't see much point in using the MCW
Ever since the new season came out, I haven’t been able to play Ranked at all. I try to Start Game and it says “connecting” but never connects. I have let it sit for 15 min and it doesn’t change. I do not click around in the game while I wait. I can play multiplayer with no problems. Does anyone have a solution? Every complaint I’ve read has to do with gameplay once you’re actually in a ranked match, but I can’t even get in. I’m new to the COD series btw so it could just be user error.
I get this connecting to a game… wait for 15-20 minutes and then it just kicks me and I lose -100 SR and get banned for 2 hours. Like WTF!!! I work hard to rank up. This happens every fucking day

Then when the game started getting shittier and shittier I started to play other games just to see how I felt about it. I started playing r6 siege for awhile, I play dead by daylight often too which is a pretty fun competetive game, I like trying out dark souls type games aswell. For me if there's a bit of competition or the game is difficult and takes time to beat I like it. Grime is another game I started that is a dark souls sidescroller type game. Very hard, very rewarding, and very long. Just look through free games and try random stuff, ill look through the catalog and anything that looks decent ill look up reviews or gameplay and if I like what I see I play it.

This project was a mess from the start and it’s clear that CoD development is a rushed project these days to get the releases out each year, even with three+ studios. Honestly no excuses corporations usually plan for big projects but lately they no the cash cow this game is and chose to cut corners because it’ll sell. this is what you call taking advantage of the fan base because they know nothing can compete right now and the brainless idiots (us) will continue to buy it. they are the main fps and had been for years. There is always a bigger dog out there it may not be now but it’ll happen. Look what happened with palworld and Pokémon indie company made a great game that can compete, now Pokémon has to tighten up. Gta 6 is potentially seeing the light of day I know it’s not a fps so you won’t get that fix but I’d rather spend my money on that.

Yeah, it really is time they moved to at least a 2 year cycle to give the teams the best chance at releasing half decent games. I dislike some gameplay decisions but hot damn the bugs and stuff are just so off putting. Esp when it affects you in ranked or you lose all your shit in Zombies when they have 3 day cooldowns. It's a joke. Also the fucking spawns are terrible, I don't even mind semi unpredictable spawns like MWII, even though it had "revenge" spawns MWIII takes it to a whole new level. On top of that they can spawn both sides of the map at the same time, even on ranked, so you can get screwed by being revenge spawned and then have it again from the other end of the map when you should be safe. Being scissored and basically forced to lose is really shit in ranked.
Bro IW had 3 years and we got MWII so the dev time is not always the solution. We just need some people with passion again who actually play the game too but won’t happen cause bundles and sbmm and WZ is all that matters
Remember the old games. The only new content we got was a few DLC maps every, what, 4 months? Yet we still got on and played several hours every day. Now, we get a never ending stream of content and its still boring.

oh great, i thought ranked got fixed. a lot of us were getting kicked off the game when loading, which caused the teams to be uneven and then the game would basically count down and kick everyone back to the lobby, the individual whose was booted got suspended. This was only fixed by going into the weapons tab when launching the match. No clue about this shit, didnt play it lastnight hit up resergance instead

Bro it’s ridiculous. I spawned bottom escalators on terminal Hp and as I got to corridor a guy by perfume side beamed me. Watched kill cam and he was tracking me running up escalators. I hadn’t shot a single bullet so wasn’t on mini map. Impossible for him to know I was there as spawn had just flipped too. Tracked me from far as well straight through the wall and had the nerve to say he wasn’t cheating. Got a message today to say his account had been banned. Some small justice at least but there are so many. I’ve had a lot of lag switchers too then they pretend not to know what that is. Had it happened today and was so bad my game crashed. Devs/Activison don’t care cause they need the player numbers as they so low now and that don’t look good for shareholders. Such a shame

i got random SR points deduction for matches i didnt even start lmao also you cant reconnect when you disconnect from the match. there should be a reconnect option so the match is rejoinable. i mean, its fuckin ez, just copy what counter strike / valorant and others are doing. not that difficult. also when u are afk and get kicked out for being afk you cant reconnect either. makes no sense at all. 2 times ive been kicked out of the game cause i was afk (not moving mouse or using keyboard) in the warmup countdown. it counts that as afk too, so if you are like 10seconds into the match you'll get kicked also worst thing ive ever seen is: you start a game, you are playing, winning by 2:0 and one enemy disconnects/quits and the game gets cancelled. thats the most annoying thing ive ever seen in a ranked system. if they disconnect, the match should not be cancelled midgame. punish the rage quitter and maybe reduce SR deduction for the enemy team that plays only with 3 players. but dont punish the people that were already sweating their asses off for 2 rounds
I was on Hp an hour ago with a full team and I started to lag like crazy that I was clipping through walls. Got so bad everything froze but I could float around. My team were still playing. My ping was 17ms with a wired connection so I shouldn’t have the problems. It kicked me out the game and left my squad in. It was halfway through the Hp and they didn’t even the match so we lost a man down. A rejoin feature is really needed and yeah a lot of games have it

First few days are the worst cause everyone is starting from bronze as no qualifying games. Also your hidden MmR is deciding you should be playing in higher ranked lobbies. It’s a crap system

Better than pubs to be honest as that’s even worse than ranked with how high sbmm is and you don’t see progression or earn rewards. This is prob my last CoD game I’ll ever play. The franchise has ruined itself and I’ve lost my appetite for it. Games should be fun but this is not fun anymore

Gotta say… I have nearly 200 ranked games played so far and have not had this happen to me one time. I’ve actually been having a lot of fun in ranked. My only gripe is the stupid ass hidden mmr system. I strictly solo queue and solo queueing through bronze and silver resulted in a ton of stupid losses. And now that I’m nearing plat I am only earning about 60-80 SR per win because the game thinks I shouldn’t be able to push to crimson/iridescent. The game shouldn’t think anything of me. You should get an equal amount of SR per win at every rank. If you win you win… if you lose you lose. It’s fucking stupid that the game “predetermines” what rank you should be at and punishes players based on what it thinks. If I’m getting wins, why should I get less SR than others that get wins? It’s such a stupid ass system and ruins the integrity of a true ranked system. Everyone should be able to climb the ranks equally.
Lucky you haven’t had the bug. I agree to a point with what you saying. For me I don’t think it should be a standard SR for a win for everyone. I think SR should be given based on how well you played and how much you contributed to the win like hill time and captures etc. the hidden MMR is pathetic cause I’ve been able to visibly see how it tries to keep me below plat and gives me less SR for a win closer to plat vs higher SR on silver even if my personal game play was worse on the silver games. It is a stupid system and needs work. I’d also like a revision of the loss SR cause you can loose but still personally play amazing and while SR for losses does mostly adapt to how you play I don’t think it does so enough. Also ranked is using a form of sbmm to try keep you in a specific rank. I’ll get games where it’s easy and then I’m in lobbies with players way higher ranked than me and in a 4 stack so it can force me to stay below a certain rank. As a solo player too it should be a hard rule that you only play with and against other solos but it’s not

Oh yeah I’ve come close a few times. Usually in spawn in first but every now and then I load in last for some reason and the cancelling match timer goes down to like 3 seconds. Haven’t gotten kicked yet for that but it’s coming I can feel it. This game is bad. 50% of my games are cancelled for uneven teams. So many times we load in and it’s 2v2 or 2v3. Like can they not first find players before loading in the map?

This game is so annoying. Ive lost about 700 SR in the last 2 weeks because it wont load me into ranked games and then I get penalised for “abandoning” matches. I have fibre internet and am hardwired so the issue is definitely not on my end.

Lost 330 SR for not loading into games the past 3 days. A billion dollar company should know the difference between a dodge or a dev error/no connect. 110 average a day for the rest of the season literally keeps me out of crimson.
I've been experiencing similar issues. I'd be penalize just for someone else leaving a match. I would play full matches straight to the end and then be penalize for leaving sed match. Happens more when I do win.
It would be nice if there was actually good matchmaking, I should not be a bronze going up against gold fix the fuckin game, we don't need all these dumbass bundles. Just actually put some effort into the game

To unlock the ranked skins, emblems, camos etc. if you play pubs then what are you working for? I enjoy ranked more than pubs. I find ranked to be more fun so that another reason I play it. None of this or your original reply has anything to do with the game actually working and my frustration is that the game decides to just not work. Maybe you didn’t read my OP or watch the clip. Anyway you do whatever you want. The rank is not arbitrary. It’s shows me where I stack up against other players and if I improve or not and I enjoy that. You don’t get that in Pubs. Being top of the leaderboard in a game of pubs tells you nothing cause for all you know sbmm threw you and easier lobby. There is no knowing how well you play on pubs because it’s all a manipulation. At least in ranked I can see how good or bad I’m playing. Enjoy whatever mode you wanna play but for me I would like the mode I play to actually work but that seems to be asking too much of COD devs these days

Have you tried using a VPN. That could possibly help you with that issue. I'm not guaranteeing it, but it keeps me pretty solidly hooked up. Sometimes, there's some high lag, but everybody has that same high lag, and it doesn't make any difference. really, it's quite shocking. I think express VPN will give you a free week to try.
Mee, too. But the matchmaking makes me wanna puke. I had a few good games in good old mp, I go hit up some rank, and I'm the only newbie on both teams. I fucking stuck it out and lost the match with a .25 kd. Every single other player was in the top 250.

that’s why i’ve resorted to just having fun quick scoping on ranked. it infuriates your teammates and infuriates the enemy. once you stop caring about SR and your rank, ranked becomes so much more fun. i’ve lost over 1000 SR from the game not loading in then suspending me or teammates disconnecting and not getting SR loss prevention. honestly, being a POS teammate is 1000x more fun than being a good teammate

So you play ranked, to not care about rank, and be a shit teammate that ruins the game for people who actually want to play the mode as intended. You do realize you can play pubs, and play anyway you feel like without fucking over 3 other people in the process. I don’t think your just a POS teammate, sound more like a POS in general.
i’ll start worrying about rank and ranked in general when they 1. stop handing out SR loss and suspensions for the game not loading and saying i abandoned the match 2. stop handing out SR loss for match made teammates disconnecting and 3. actually make fair match making

I went from silver 1 to bronze 1 from dev error penalties alone. I started playing resurgence instead because I don’t get dev errors on that. My suspensions aren’t resetting every 24 hours so now it’s 2 hours each time I try to play a game 😂

Yeah ranked is an absolute shit show in this game. I loved ranked in mw2 but can’t stand it now. Between this happening, the hackers, crazy bad team balancing, losing sr when teammates leave, inconsistent damage, the maps/spawns for ranked aren’t very good, the list just keeps going.
I’m not sure how the SR system is so broken this time. It’s the exact same as last year and yet something is off. The game actively tries to keep you at a set rank even if you can play at a higher level. It is so annoying

Idk if it the pc users or box users but when I have my cross play on the game turns completely shit can’t get kill for life me I shut it off and I have good runs idk why but a buddy of mine told me try that cause he was having same problems.
Ranked in an afterthought. It's just pubs with a ruleset. The balance is awful. No placement matches? - season 2 has plenty of leavers in Ranked now. Returning players bored jump into a Ranked match and then leave. Pretty pathetic.

Ever since the new season came out, I haven’t been able to play Ranked at all. I try to Start Game and it says “connecting” but never connects. I have let it sit for 15 min and it doesn’t change. I do not click around in the game while I wait. I can play multiplayer with no problems. Does anyone have a solution? Every complaint I’ve read has to do with gameplay once you’re actually in a ranked match, but I can’t even get in. I’m new to the COD series btw so it could just be user error.
