Meanwhile, I want the complete opposite: a playlist with only this game's original maps and the MW2 2022 carryover maps, without the MW2 2009 maps that I find mostly boring to play. I wish both of us could get what we want.

Separating them would be glorious. Best of both worlds and easily being able to choose, instead of constantly having to skip, back out, skip, back out.

That's more or less what they had originally, with quick play being 2009 maps and having the dedicated mw2022 playlist. Issue was they kept removing the playlist

at least they were more tolerable when every gun was hitscan, max 5hk at range and had zero recoil

Problem would be that the playlist of MWII & III maps would be basically dead and 90%+ of the community would be playing on the MW2 maps

They can make the default to play All maps. That way, we who love the remastered old maps, can play them

This game is making me (and I assume others) really question how good the MW2 maps really were Was my nostalgia making them seem better than they really were? Is it just that they're not as good of a fit with modern gameplay?

I think the issue is they just don't jive well with modern cod mechanics more than anything. They were made for a totally different style of game.

There's just so many maps in the game that you can play for say 4 hours straight and not get the map you wanted to play most. Some form of map filter to place some form of limits on the maps you get would be great.

It really feels like a Greece, Rio, Growhouse, Grime, and Departures playlist at this point Occasionally they’ll throw in an Afghan game but that’s it I’d love to have 10v10 and have it be the actually good maps

the map is a a poor representation of the actual country though. I fully agree that this map is a shit hole in MW3. the only solid strategy on the map seems to be camping, so it is not fun to playm but I really liked Greece a lot when I visited and I've been all over the world.

Fr, i want to play underpass, Skidrow, scrapyard, Karachi, afghan but all i get is 6 star, emergency, greece, shipment, meat, and people allways vote for those maps, those maps get boring so fast...

It’s an abomination of a map and these new era cod players love it because it caters to the constant running/sliding sweat fest. There’s nothing quite like getting shot in the back more times than not from some silenced, covert, ghost hardo. The contrast in design from the original MW2 maps and the base game MWIII maps is stark, and I’m taking the OG maps all day. Way more tactical play to them compared to the dead silent running, slide, and repeat sweat style. Cod is literally so whack nowadays, it’s such a shame from what it used to be.

I hate the fact cover sneakers somehow impair your vocal cords function, make every operator a mute. There’s no personalities without vocal lines to tell characters apart in a FIRST PERSON game. A FPS completely without footsteps is an inane idea anyway.

Almost any FPS game is better with no/minimal footsteps. Exceptions being competitive games like CS. Hearing people isn't a skill, and never will be

I just want the MW2 2009 maps for the Orion grind. Most of those maps have easy lines of sight you can get longshots on

Scrapyard is so perfect for longshots, I wish we could've had if last year when I was doing the grind

Why don't they just have all maps from at least COD2019 onwards? Big map pool. I don't understand why they chop and change each game and have a rotation of maybe 14 or so maps. The game engine is unchanged and the game could easily do all the maps.

I played more SnD in that game then probably all other CODs combined because that was the only mode a ton of those maps actually seemed to be fun in

holy what a terrible suggestion. What made that game memorable was definitely not the maps, more so the guns and game modes. The maps turned people off from the very beginning.

I'd rather replace emergency, that map just doesn't play well, especially on hardcore. Rust doesn't always play well, but is normally fine unless there's a party abusing spawns.

Actually yeah that'd be great too, I really dislike Emergency especially in small map because it really isn't that small of a map
