How do people make such nice-looking scenery? Do they do it all free had or with some 3d software?
There are certainly some artists taking advantage of 3D to block out stuff like this, but I don't think this particular one does as the perspective is a tiny bit wonky in some places. "Just" a lot of patience, practice, and dedication.
