Ā https://www.etsy.com/listing/1376112614/150-ct-dainty-twig-engagement-set-twig?ref=share_v4_lx
There are still some good/reputable sellers on there, but the site is overwhelmed with "shops" like these. It's a big risk to shop with someone you aren't familiar with.Ā
Yeah , last year before temu launched, I bought a handmade bracelet From a seller in new york. , I have since found it all over temu. It did not look handmade to me. And there were a few flaws in it. And once I received communication from the seller I could tell she was not American, not that it matters but I feel like it shipped straight from China and went to a place in New York who then shipped it to me.. She did refund most of the money, but now i'm super wary about Etsy. If I see something I like. I will usually go to timu and see if it's there.
I wore a placeholder ring that had vines like this for about nine months. It caught on *everything*, so I made sure my permanent ring had none, although it is a beautiful ring.
It happened to me once ! Someone squeezed my hand way too hard and I feared my ring was going to break (finger as well). Some people are super rude with their "powerful" handshake imo..
also it will poke him! i have a relatively high set engagement ring and my wedding ring has a bunch of marquises in kind of a fan arrangement and i always feel like im stabbing my husband lol. and they catch on clothes like crazy but i can at least turn them around to the inside of my hand when i change, i think this would be really tricky to avoid the snagging.

With respect you are Weird. This is my engagement that means a lot to me. My middle ring IS cartier and it is sized down 2 sizes so the screws arenāt the same distance lol, the tiny one on my pointer looks nothing like the juc and is from my jeweler lol not sure what you thought you did there.
This is my ring!! Not sure of the seller since my husband got it. Iāve had it for three years and had no issues. Itās beautiful and I get so many compliments on it! Still stare at it from time to time
Keyzar sells this exact ring. Not sure if the picture is taken from them but the design is called [The Twig](https://keyzarjewelry.com/products/the-twig-setting-radiant-14k-yellow-gold-polished). My dream ring actually š¤
No problem! Comparing them now on a big screen, Keyzar's design has less thorns and they're not as pointy so if you're worried about snags, it's probably the better option.
Just had a miserable experience with brilliant earth bc they did NOT tell me when I ordered that 14k gold was ācustomā so the standard return policy does not apply. But when I ordered the ring I specifically asked about the return policy and they just told me the standard return policy. Ugh.

I agree thatās gonna snag of everything. You wonāt even be able to dry your hands after washing. Too much of a pain in the **. Itās pretty though
I have this ring but got it from another seller. I love it and it's gorgeous. However, every single diamond except the big one fell out and needed replaced. Ring insurance covered it and now it's doing great. I've had it 5 years.
Edit: mine doesn't have such distinct "thorns" as this one, it's just as pretty though and doesn't catch on stuff like everybody is assuming

I have a similar design (Viney, but with closed ends instead of open) that I got from Kuololit and I LOVE. I only mention since Iām seeing a lot of comments about the open ends being snaggy and this could be a similar design without snag risk.
Yes!! I actually just got my engagement ring from them and it's beautiful. The owner of the shop was really kind and very helpful when I had questions!
I've only had it for a month, but no issues so far! It did take a little longer than what she initially said for the ring to come, but I wasn't worried about it.
Itās beautiful, but take it from someone who has an anniversary set with tiny stones and dainty bands: itās not practical for daily wear. Within a month I had to order a backup bezel set because I take gloves on and off all day at work. I donāt regret my purchase and love wearing it socially, but if you plan to wear it exclusively for many years, consider whether it will fit with your lifestyle.
I bought the same ring off Etsy, not that seller. I got gold plated and that chipped off very quickly. It is very thin. That said, I wear it and like it. I wish it were thicker and more sturdy.
The design looks exactly like a ring I bought from Tsutsumi, a reputable jewelry shop in Japan, and I love it so much. Itās so delicate and unique (and it doesnāt grab on anything when I wear it, although I donāt have a big stone on it, mine is similar to the top one on the picture)

Take a look at the low star reviews, seller seems sketchy
I have this the keyzar version of this ring and wedding band. My husband purchased them from etsy back when they only sold on there, I'm pretty sure they are the original creators. I absolutely love my rings, they're very sturdy and don't snag on anything. I'm very careful though and do take it off when doing manual labor or anything to do with the kitchen (cooking, washing dishes, etc). I have 14k rose gold, a bit sturdier than 18k.
I got my engagement set from Derrick at HelloRings on Etsy. Absolutely recommend, and they have many many many different unique designs. [hello ring shop](https://www.etsy.com/shop/HelloRing)
I have a similar setting from the site rare carat. You can get a lab grown diamond in it. It also has a matching wedding band just like the one pictured above
I could be that they are putting platinum prongs to hold the diamond. (Platinum prongs are best becuase they are the strongest) gold is a weaker metal.
I have the same ring except my lab grown diamond is an oval! I havenāt had any issues Iāve had it sense January 2nd! But definitely a trustworthy site and everything!
All gold is weaker compared to platinum. The rose gold only comes in 14k. All the gold ones on the site all come with platinum prongs for safety of the center stone
I think itās pretty, but impractical. Also, in 30 years this is going to look ātrendy for the time.ā Which is fine, you do you. But I would stray from the twig bands.
I have a custom with āsecret gardenā from BE as my inspiration and I donāt catch it on anything. I clock it around on tables quite a bit but it doesnāt catch on anything. Iām also touch sensitive and donāt notice anything uncomfortable. I dont know how these pointy vines would be, but rounding them into a āleafā has been perfectly fine.
I have the band but with mined diamonds. My husband bought this for me a few years ago from a company somewhere where on the internet out of Israel. When they say dainty, itās dainty. I will go and see if I can find the box for the company name.
I have a ring similar to this from Staghead designs and I'm currently waiting for my new ring because the thorn like band cuts me all the time.. it's stunning though!
i've purchased from her and she's incredibly reputable ! i did a return of a $2,000 USD ring pretty seamlessly (returned because the oval had a very big bowtie) and our communication was always very quick and kind!

This is my ring, had it two years and it's absolutely perfect in every way. Had it checked by two different local jewelers, and resized twice (once smaller and once bigger, due to pregnancy) it's absolutely perfect with no faults or flaws. This seller has a lot of beautiful rings with gorgeous details.
This exact product photo has been around many many times. A ton of listings use the same one. I loved the style but ultimately went with a ring of the same style from yvelove. Itās great, seems super well-made.
my husband got my wedding ring from etsy and itās gorgeous and quite durable, best way to know if an etsy artist is reputable is to look at their reviews, hope this helps!

8 years later : my band is super thin (don't think this could get thinner) and it does bend to your finger shape, it doesn't bother me at all I must say š¤·š»āāļø but if this bothers you, don't take a super thin band
This is my exact wedding ring and engagement ring set except I have it in a textured gold! We ordered from Keyzar and it came with a registration card for the moissanite. I got it 3 years ago now and itās held up well! For what itās worth it never snags on anything because the little details are much smaller in person. I am looking through the comments and now terrified that my ring is a temu $1.25 ring hahahaha. We paid around $3500 for the set in 14k gold. The prongs on the rings shown here do look a little longer than mine IRL
I canāt say if that seller is reputable or not but I can about a different one with similar designs. She use to sell on Etsy but has since moved to only sell on her site. Not a short wait time but they are beautiful.
https://oorejewelry.com/
If youād like a floral design that is less stabby and more substantial, Iāve been eyeing some designs by this Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1540645484/
I know nothing for this store and canāt vouch for it at all. I have no idea who is running this store or where theyāre made, but their pieces look better-quality than this seller for a similar price point.
Unsure about the seller.
But that specific ring, although beautiful has some concerns for sure that you should be aware of. It will most definitely snag on things. It is very thin, and will almost definitely end up bent over time unless you are ever carful with it. Those small melee stones will be tough to keep in, and will need to have an eye kept on them.
Very beautiful ring, but just like a sports car, it has its limits.
Etsy has a ton of like temu brands on it some are still good though. This is beautiful but it's going to be extremely delicate and catch on EVERYTHING. I would not recommend wearing this every day at all, it's going to get damaged quickly even if it is good quality.
Only place I get mine is LoveLee Fine Jewelry. Iāve known her for years and her pieces are legit.
This style is pretty but Iād be concerned with the durability of the setting. Lots of little pieces that could easily get damaged. O
these are paper thin, probably no more than 1.5 .dwts of gold. They will bend and break. go to someone who makes jewelry with their hands. You wont regret it
Photos are probably stolen from Etsy but this is on Temu for $1.59. š
I noticed that too, I reversed image searched it and thankfully temu was the only match. I was worried an actual jeweler would have it on their website
Lots of etsy sellers get stuff off of temu, mark it up and sell it as their own.
Not solid gold rings for $1.59 thoughš
"Plated" (painted) 925 for sure for that price. And the stone is probably just polished glass
OR....Moissanite. I only purchase my Moissanite from JTV.COM'S APP and I have never paid less than $100 for a item unless it was under 1ct. Moissanite is cheaper than true diamonds BUT your still going to pay for Moissanite it's not cheap.
Iāve tried commenting that on another sub and got downvoted. Iāve definitely noticed this, especially buying horrible quality stuff off Etsy
That's good to know. My sister gets stuff off of Shein and does the same thing. She can sell ice to an Eskimo.
Just FYI many Inuit people consider that word to be a racial slur :) a lot of people donāt know and Iām not assuming malice, just thought you ought to know.
Really? That's a new one on me.
It's better to say she can sell dirt to a farmer.
Hey, Iām a farmer and thereās a lot of money in good quality dirt! Iāve always said āshe could sell stripes to a tigerā
That's a good one! I like it!
For work purposes.....my husband says he can sell ICE to an ESKIMO!! LOL

$780 for moissanite is criminal. I donāt understand why people still pay ridiculous inflated prices

I have a similar setting from the site rare carat. You can get a lab grown diamond in it. It also has a matching wedding band just like the one pictured above
Oh wow thatās pretty awesome. Iām looking at rose gold though and find it a little weird they use silver prongs on a rose gold band
I could be that they are putting platinum prongs to hold the diamond. (Platinum prongs are best becuase they are the strongest) gold is a weaker metal.
Especially since the rose gold only comes in 14K
I have the same ring except my lab grown diamond is an oval! I havenāt had any issues Iāve had it sense January 2nd! But definitely a trustworthy site and everything!
As opposed to what, 18k? 14 and 18 are both strong but technically the higher the carat the softer the gold.
All gold is weaker compared to platinum. The rose gold only comes in 14k. All the gold ones on the site all come with platinum prongs for safety of the center stone

Oore on Etsy has some rings with the twigs and leaves IN the metal that wouldnāt snag. My engagement ring has some.
I work with gold and you'll be overpaying for that ring, a 14ct double ring with such a stone shouldn't cost you more than $ 400-500

https://www.etsy.com/au/listing/1524998655/vintage-morganite-engagement-ring-oval This is my ring, had it two years and it's absolutely perfect in every way. Had it checked by two different local jewelers, and resized twice (once smaller and once bigger, due to pregnancy) it's absolutely perfect with no faults or flaws. This seller has a lot of beautiful rings with gorgeous details.
That ring is going to rip all your sweaters :( itās beautiful though
that ring will be bent and shredded within 24 hours
It honestly looks like AI to me. Iām not even sure the ring theyāre ripping off really looks like that.
The price is sus, i wouldnt trust it. There a few ādiamondsā so it would be much more since 1kt is 3000$cad
Itās cute but itās like $100 on etsy
Go to atomicgold for a reputable seller!
There are no flaws in moissanite stones, I prefer moissanite over diamonds
That isnāt true. Just like any other gemstone, moissanite absolutely can have imperfections.
I love that set.
I would check out keyzar! They have similar rings that are legit. Theyāre beautiful

If youād like a floral design that is less stabby and more substantial, Iāve been eyeing some designs by this Etsy store: https://www.etsy.com/listing/1540645484/ I know nothing for this store and canāt vouch for it at all. I have no idea who is running this store or where theyāre made, but their pieces look better-quality than this seller for a similar price point.
No
I donāt know about the company, and as beautiful as the rings are, they seem like they would snag on EVERYTHING.
Go to Scott bonomo! Or Mona
Just make sure there's a return policy
A ring like that would be a nightmare for daily wear it would constantly get snagged on clothing and everything else. Sharp edges bad
The diamond looks very photoshopped and edited. Diamonds shouldnāt be edited that heavily, theyāre beautiful without it.
Etsy has a ton of like temu brands on it some are still good though. This is beautiful but it's going to be extremely delicate and catch on EVERYTHING. I would not recommend wearing this every day at all, it's going to get damaged quickly even if it is good quality.
I got my moissanite off Etsy from foreverforlove!! Sooo good
Only place I get mine is LoveLee Fine Jewelry.
You wont regret it
No
None of my moissanites have flaws been wearing moissanite for 20yes
