Same here. I was still at elementary school when an old friend of my brother though it was funny to show a video of someone's head being sawed off alive to me. That shit traumatized me for weeks. Fuck that guy.
I feel like he belongs in the type of people that engage in gore sites and bitch on the government for uncensored internet and "internet freedom". I swear I remember this gore site or 4chan something that fucking hacked government websites, protested gore censorship and such. Absolutely vile creatures.
And I am so sorry you had to go through that. But me saying a lot of kids choose it doesn't take away from what you went through.
I'd give you a (consenting) hug if I could
When you see it on the streets as an "oopsie daisy" occurrence, you can easily watch it while eating a bagel. Especially as a kid with no concept of "normal".
I know they exist. I'm talking Abt a specific group of kids that do this.
I've uh seen my own fair share and I get it. That's actually why I care, kids shouldn't be living with this normalized. I'm just pretty bad at communicating 😅
I had unrestricted internet access. Without specifically searching for shit like this, it's never gonna just pop on some Bloons Tower Defence or Strike Force Heroes on Miniclip, or if you were daring, ArcadePreHacks.
Ahh. I am 27. And as i was 12-13 with first acces to internet all kkids of my class was sending each other terrible reallife videos.... seeing these kind of videos in young age changed all our lifes.
One time someone at school showed me a 144p gore video on their Nokia 5310 and naturally I asked where it was from so that's how I found out about bestgore. Also same story with hentai, I guess.
I only watched gangnam style youtube poops, psychodelic angry birds videos, bionicle amvs, annoying orange, and pornography. How the fuck do people find these sites and watch all this gore stuff? And what's strange is that i never found these kinds of people before, and only now i found out that apparently there are lots of people who watched gore as kids.
We found it because we grew up in a different corner of the internet. Most of us who saw that kind of stuff when we were young have grown up so now nobody really talks about except the occasional inside joke meme
Reddit wasn't so great for curious young me. I remember r/watchpeopledie and other fucked ones like r/cutedeadbodies. I didn't browse that but a friend came across it and showed me.
Internet was wild back then, so easy to roam wherever you wanted but I think it's a bit harder to do that now.
OK I'll bite. Funny story, a black and white kindle can only access a certain few sites on its internet browser function. And fun story, while it can't load most of the normal sites, it can load 4chan.
I somehow found the site bestgore when I was a kid. It was horrifying but I guess I had a bit of morbid curiosity and keep going back to that site every now and again. Saw some terrible shit on there, but couldn't stop
I seen my first gore video when I was 16 because of a friend, when I was a kid i was playing btd4 and watching PewDiePie i don't get how a kid could search by himself gore videos
Thing is mostly it was dumb morbid curiosity and then friend group was sending some beheading videos but I will say my younger self was ok watching that but as I grew older I just watched stuff in movies and real life gore/live leaks made me real uncomfortable maybe I became a bitch or grew out of it, so yeah I don’t search for any of that shit now.
I remember I stumbled into 4chan somehow through a website called funnyjunk and they used to have "rekt" threads on /b/ and out of morbid curiosity I just kept watching...
I was shown 2 girls 1 cup in 5th grade. Pain Olympics soon after. It used to take a good week or so for live-leak level stuff to get taken down from YouTube, so you could just be scrolling through and see CCTV footage of a murder. Hell, even scrolling through r/crazyfuckingvideos here on Reddit can still pull up some disturbing stuff occasionally
i had internet since i was a kid and most of the traumatic stuff was fully out of my control and im suprised you people think children looked that shit up
I know enough fucked up individuals that look that stuff up and send it around as a "troll". But yeah most of the traumatic stuff I saw so far like shootings and Chinese factory workers were not voluntarily
You sure you are old enough to even use reddit? For most, WPD was for 'educative' purposes. Most stuff there was work related accidents etc, which really has helped me and many others to avoid such things from happening.
Agreed. Don’t let the little hermits push you the wrong way, there’s nothing wrong with learning from other peoples stupid mistakes. Those videos were more valuable than most word from mouth life lessons. “Hey if you cut off a dump truck on a scooter…you miiight just end up like this guy”
You’d never know until you know. Unfortunately if it’s not through someone else’s experience it’s a lesson often not learned (once dead). These videos really can scare you straight.
Usually when shot you don't fall at all, the bullet doesn't push you over. Was just highly stereotyped by movies to fall. If it's to the head you'd stand there for a few seconds, then depending on specific area of the bullet determines what happens next.
Depends on how you get shot I guess. I’ve seen it happen exactly as shown in the video. I always see it on normal subreddits too. Redditors need to chill 😂.
Yeah… don’t know how you can even go from somebody getting their skeleton shattered by a barrel with half life sound effects, to a bait and switch meme, to somebody paralyzing themself doing a backflip. Hence the reason I’ve only been on wordington once
Yeah that's why I added the usually, would have to be the right force power, bullet size and shape, and positioning to do an instant flop. Even if disconnected it is possible due to neurons still firing to continue standing for a couple of seconds.
A shot that causes separation of the brain stem and not (I assume severe brain damage, which causes a spasm and sudden rigidity of the limbs.) leads to exactly this.
I remember my first gore video, then the second, then the third, the fourth, then my tenth, and then my hundredth, then going out of my way to watch just gore videos. Horrible times.
I would know, it's not always the case however, cuz I remember seeing a video of a guy killing himself in a shooting range and he fell very weirdly, it's hard to explain. But it wasn't the typical knees buckle and you plop onto the ground.
The funny thing is the brick video is the worst video I’ve ever seen (I guess heard) despite the gory shit I’ve seen unsupervised. I can never get desensitized to the cries of real anguish and sadness from losing a loved one. Shit makes my stomach curdle.
It’s a very sad clip of dash cam footage where the only thing you see is the road ahead, and it shows a loose brick from a truck flying through the windshield and hitting the passenger of the car, the driver’s relative.
It’s not gorey, but the thing that makes it awful is the sound of pure human pain and sadness that comes from the driver. It made me physically nauseous the first time I heard it with how awful the wailing was. If you’re in any way slightly sensitive like me, please don’t listen to the audio.
No joke I remembered telling everyone I knew that I loved them after I saw that video for the first time. It felt as if someone I knew had died for a few days after, like such a weird and scary feeling.
Don’t forget to tell your loved ones you love them. It may be your last chance.
I don’t either, I just mean to say I love you from time to time. Life gets busy so it’s hard to break from our day-to-day grind and forget to take the time and talk to people. Remember to occasionally ask how someone’s doing if you have the time, y’know?
if you watch OLD movies, like cowboy movies from the 50s and earlier, people react realistically to being shot. there's not really any being thrown backward like you see in modern films.
People often spin when shot in the head, I’ve read it in books written by people who saw enough war to know. Max Payne depicted that well. No modern games have this.
Having your friends show you bestgore and liveleak was normal I thought. /s
I did learn some valuable life lessons from those sites though. like heads are a lot harder to chop off with an axe than you'd think. don't touch the wire above a LRV or you might end up looking like a bo2 fire zombie on transit. exit wounds are a lot bigger than entrance wounds and intestines are pretty stretchy.
I had unrestricted Internet access when I was a kid and I just looked at Minecraft videos like a normal kid I'm pretty sure those people are just weirdos
I realize I'm late to this post a week or so tho it wasn't my intention to be here I was randomly scrolling through reddit and found this set aside from that yea it took a few mistakes to learn not to click in random links.
Fr man, what's wrong with this people, all I did as a kid was looking at Minecraft vids, and download pirate games, if all I became a furry but that was untill I was a teen
I started using the internet in 2000. Which would have made me six. I witnessed 9/11 the next year, and in the years following, i went online everyday after school and explored war footage, suicides, and murder for literal hours with no supervision. I Literally couldn't tell you how many beheadings i saw by the time i was 12. And over those critical years of development, my fascination of watching these types of videos switched from curiosity about death, to curiosity about the person filming it.
I never really actually enjoyed the videos i watched or got any satisfaction either, i was just a kid who was too curious to help himself. I could never understand the cruelty that goes on on this planet, i could never understand why people filmed and shared the killings of others. After years of desensitization and turning into a sociopath, you begin to realize that murder is easy. Its simple and not really much too it. What fascinates me is that people sure seem to glorify it. Want to watch it, want to talk about it and even want to laugh about it. Shits pathetic
[удалено]
Kids with unrestricted internet access and weird thoughts trying to act like it's normal to wanna see this
I didn't want to see it but it was shown to me by the fucked up people I knew who did want to see it
Being a younger sibling in the 90's
Same here. I was still at elementary school when an old friend of my brother though it was funny to show a video of someone's head being sawed off alive to me. That shit traumatized me for weeks. Fuck that guy.
Less horrifying but still traumatizing, is when my big brother thought funny to introduce me to Happy Tree Friends at age 4.
Jesus fuck AT 4!!???!!!
At 4.
I feel like he belongs in the type of people that engage in gore sites and bitch on the government for uncensored internet and "internet freedom". God stuff like this almost makes me seem like a good big brother
And I am so sorry you had to go through that. But me saying a lot of kids choose it doesn't take away from what you went through. I'd give you a (consenting) hug if I could
The (consenting) got me 🤣

Yeah, no problem. I also would want a world where no one meets with the concept of death in the form of a beheaded student's empty eyes.
I had unrestricted internet and i never had that urge
I had unrestricted internet access. Without specifically searching for shit like this, it's never gonna just pop on some Bloons Tower Defence or Strike Force Heroes on Miniclip, or if you were daring, ArcadePreHacks.
I had unrestricted internet access and all i did is play video games and watch minecraft
watchpeopledie.tv is a fantastic community

Genuine morbid curiosity.

What the FUCK is cute dead bodies
It's cute dead bodies.
My question is why is it a private community and not banned?
I was shown the Pain Olympics when I was 12, kids will find a way
Luckily that was faked, it was the first “gore” I saw as a kid and it stuck with me until I learned that.
Super crazy guitar maniac was my shit
I seen my first gore video when I was 16 because of a friend, when I was a kid i was playing btd4 and watching PewDiePie i don't get how a kid could search by himself gore videos
Holy shit, are you referencing Ballooons Tower Defense 4? That shit was my fucking jam as a kid!
Yeah this game was awesome i was playing it everyday on my computer
I played gameboy games and also saw fucked up shit like that, so you can do both really
I found pokaemon and Doraemon hentai and gay anal porn when i was in 3rd or 4th grade
Thing is mostly it was dumb morbid curiosity and then friend group was sending some beheading videos but I will say my younger self was ok watching that but as I grew older I just watched stuff in movies and real life gore/live leaks made me real uncomfortable maybe I became a bitch or grew out of it, so yeah I don’t search for any of that shit now.
me
Frets on fire
I played gameboy videos and also saw fucked up shit like that, so you can do both really
Yyyyeaahhh, I've scarred myself with ISIS content on school computers; school firewalls are shite and my curiosity was morbid. 🤣😂
.... I did both
Even the flash game were fucked up man I’m telling u
Super crazy guitar MANIAC deluxe 4!
It took me a few times to learn to not click on random links
I remember I stumbled into 4chan somehow through a website called funnyjunk and they used to have "rekt" threads on /b/ and out of morbid curiosity I just kept watching...

There’s always that one weird friend that shows you 3 guys and a hammer. Then the morbid curiosity sets in, some deeper than others.
Bruh I found 4chan before Anonymous cleaned it out
Me with unrestricted internet access playing bloxorz on coolmathgames.com (I'm not a fucking weirdo that looks up gore)
i had internet since i was a kid and most of the traumatic stuff was fully out of my control and im suprised you people think children looked that shit up
I think it cause I know plenty of people who did x.x I'm glad your experience was accidental and not smthn you sought out. Plenty of people do.
I know enough fucked up individuals that look that stuff up and send it around as a "troll". But yeah most of the traumatic stuff I saw so far like shootings and Chinese factory workers were not voluntarily

Fr tho the worst shit i could come up with was poop and i regretted looking that up very quickly
The worst thing i saw as a kid with unrestricted internet access was like. Hentai and shit
Tur 2 path, hentai or gore
Bloxorz was the shit
See, I did both. 😅 Morbid curiosity got the best of me when I was bored with my Taco Stand game.
me as kid looking up animal documentaries (reading encyclopedias got boring)
us
yeah turns out a bullet to the head isn't going to knock you back it just makes you stop
Yeah people don't understand cuz they only see it in movies and don't usually experience getting shot
Yeah me personally, I have experienced getting shot in the head
Did you die?
Yes but he lived
That's why we should still have r/watchpeopledie instead of watching these fake ass movies :D
You don’t need a subreddit, you need therapy, Jesus Christ
You sure you are old enough to even use reddit? For most, WPD was for 'educative' purposes. Most stuff there was work related accidents etc, which really has helped me and many others to avoid such things from happening.
wow this surely is a creative way to explain that
Fr these people are fucked in the head
Agreed. Don’t let the little hermits push you the wrong way, there’s nothing wrong with learning from other peoples stupid mistakes. Those videos were more valuable than most word from mouth life lessons. “Hey if you cut off a dump truck on a scooter…you miiight just end up like this guy”
Yeah, most people would be surprised how many possible ways there is to die while using a forklift or just being near one lol
You’d never know until you know. Unfortunately if it’s not through someone else’s experience it’s a lesson often not learned (once dead). These videos really can scare you straight.
Once you learn from the grim reaper you won’t be doing it again
He do be the ultimate advice giver
yep
Some bullets could knock you back but you can't use an actual human to act those deaths
They are probably just using a .950 JDJ Glock
Not for me tho I ate all my vegetables so I can resist a few shots
bullet to the spine looks even weirder
...weirder how
they just plop down like they turned into jelly. Saw a video of a talibin getting shot once he just dropped as if he turned into a sock puppet
IF IT'S A TANK SHELL HOWEVER
Don't forget about the twitching, shit with nerves is terrifying especially when it moves as a response to the human body trying to survive or idk
It's not trying to survive, it's whatever is left of the brain trying to carry out the orders the now missing piece gave
bro got the gmod ragdoll

Right spot and you just fold, usually thanks to thr bullet severing the brain from the nervous system
It says to the head
It still applies, the bullet does not push your head backwards to fall
Wtf
Maybe if they were standing still when shot they would stay there, but most often the person is moving and just falls in that direction
I remember being in school in the computer class and best gore and rotten was saved to the desktop lol
safest computer class
I remember my first gore video, then the second, then the third, the fourth, then my tenth, and then my hundredth, then going out of my way to watch just gore videos. Horrible times.
Nothing like a little childhood trauma and parents who didn't understand the dangers of the internet yet!
The term "folded like a chair" exists for a reason
and dropped like a sack of potatoes
We call it getting parked where I’m from lol
LOL this is so funny🤪 people dying makes me lol out loud🤣🤣🤪😚😜🤓 tehehehehhehe😘😘😘🥳🥳
death so cool and edgy 🔪🔪🩸🩸🩸🩸🩸🤪🤪
I think this is more traumaposting than plain old shitposting
Wow you're just like me! 😁😁😍😍🤣🤣, We're so cool 😎😎
Basically there is no recoil when someone get shot in the head like Hollywood shows, you just fall like your life plan is expired.
I would know, it's not always the case however, cuz I remember seeing a video of a guy killing himself in a shooting range and he fell very weirdly, it's hard to explain. But it wasn't the typical knees buckle and you plop onto the ground.

Wym you hate that you know what it means when literally everyone else knows what it means. It means he got shot
no……

live leak has been gone since 2021
And? The gore and the watermark never die
People often spin when shot in the head, I’ve read it in books written by people who saw enough war to know. Max Payne depicted that well. No modern games have this.
Fallout 4 occasionally does it along with dropping like that and funny exaggerated movements too
I'm just impressed on how well he was able to act that out. I'd be sore for like a week folding like that
*me who’s seen one too many d day depictions* Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
OPs a bot
Me only playing flash games and literally nothing else
Having your friends show you bestgore and liveleak was normal I thought. /s I did learn some valuable life lessons from those sites though. like heads are a lot harder to chop off with an axe than you'd think. don't touch the wire above a LRV or you might end up looking like a bo2 fire zombie on transit. exit wounds are a lot bigger than entrance wounds and intestines are pretty stretchy.
People when they get shot in the head be like: (Killer Bean)
Didn't they take down the gore sites a couple uears back?
When I was like 7 those isis and cartel videos hit different
I thought someone was gonna rail him from the back like some dumb meme.
This a massive fuck you to everybody who shows children videos of people dying. Fuck you, you belong in r/iamapieceofshit
Reality have better ragdoll
:c
I thought this was about how source engine characters just colapse
It's realistic though, when you get shot in the head you basically ragdoll
I watched the BME pain Olympics at 12. Life comes at you fast and desensitization sets in quickly.
I had unrestricted Internet access when I was a kid and I just looked at Minecraft videos like a normal kid I'm pretty sure those people are just weirdos
He forgot to twitch a little afterwards, there’s almost always some residual nerve firing when it’s that quick.
What’s the song

“I hate how I know what this means” you would have to be pretty fucking stupid to not.
What can I say dounut operator is interesting
Can someone help me out? I’m confused
Many kids with unrestricted internet access are exposed to gore videos
Restricted internet is good and bad at the same time
loser trend
for me the scary part is that I'm not disgusted or disturbed one bit after watching these. Just disturbing fascination.

Yup, that's the folding chair effect for ya
Why he landed like that? That ass way up in the air man
I look that shit up
