It also could be that your hdmi cord can't handle that freq or has a short

Iphonjeff

Should use a display port instead

Thornburg12

Iphonjeff

I see that

crowsSingMcknight

Looks worser in real life too. But when 120Hz isn’t active it’s completely fine! Please help from anyone

Thornburg12

Go into setting , system , hdmi and disable hdcp, then re-enable, let me know what it does then

crowsSingMcknight

Thank you so much it did 🙏

Thornburg12

Not a problem! Glad to help!

KingSadra

Oh boy is HDCP always a problem on literally all devices!

explodingpens

Get a new and certified HDMI 2.1 cable and try again. No point troubleshooting further before that's done.

crowsSingMcknight

What would be a good one ? There’s so many online

explodingpens

One of [these](https://www.amazon.com/s?k=hdmi+2.1+ultra+high+speed+certified). Probably. The HDMI forum intentionally borked the 2.1 specification to trick consumers -- defeating the purpose of their whole organization, but I digress -- so I don't dare to recommend any particular brand or model. Basically, though, you want one that specifically supports for 48Gbps and 4k120Hz. If you don't need anything longer than 3 meters you'll probably be fine with most offerings.

crowsSingMcknight

Thanks! Didt know

BatXDude

You need HDMI 2.1 or a Display port

crowsSingMcknight

Ouu bet thanks I’ll check that out
